Kitten Behavior

Kittens! Why Do They Do What They Do

Usually, if a kitten is “ignoring” a command, he was either never really taught the command in the first place (many times people just start saying Come Here or Stop It! as if the kitten could automatically understand the meaning of their words) or the owner has not made it worth the kitten’s while to care about the command.

Consequences, not commands, control a cat’s behavior. Reward your kitten for behaviors you want to see more of.

Kittens do what they do because they dont know any better. when we are babies we suck on things and bite things because we dont know any better. its the same thing all around with baby animals. they are still learning!

I have a 2 1/2 week old kitten that I have raised with a bottle. We found him when he was about a few days old. He has been a joy. However, over the past week during feeding time he has become aggressive towards me when it's time to take his bottle. He is hungry but he fights. Clawing my hands and crying until i hold his paws and hold him tightly. He also closed his mouth to prevent the bottle from going in to his mouth. He is teething and wants to chew on my fingers but I don't let him. Anyway I don't know what to do about his bad behavior.
