If the thought of brushing your cat’s teeth leaves you reeling with laughter, consider for a moment the consequences of poor dental care, which are no joking matter.

“It will absolutely give more time to the overall life of that pet if we can maintain its proper oral health,” says Alfred G. Stevens, instructor of veterinary dentistry at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, in Baton Rouge, La. According to Stevens, periodontal disease is the number one disease in cats.

It's ture a year ago one of my friends cats ended getting a dental desease because he did not brush his teeth. This artical is 100% true!
