Remember those funny old cartoons where a good-hearted mischief-maker steals a pie cooling on a windowsill? Sometimes life imitates art, as Ohio Somali breeder Marianne Harris learned.
“I had a cake cooling on the stove,” says Harris, a breeder since 1994. “I had just taken it out of the oven, so it was still steaming. I went into the laundry room and came back. I turned around and [saw] there were chunks torn out of the top of the cake.”
These active, affectionate cats with the foxy good looks spend their days planning adventures, cuddling with owners and ensuring the house is status quo.
