Holistic therapy can complement traditional veterinary care.

By Helen Jablonski

Peanut seemed to be a healthy 3-year-old cat, but she was plagued by a recurring skin infection on her chin. Antibiotics and steroids only provided temporary relief, so Peanut's owner decided to give holistic veterinary care a try.

The holistic veterinarian's objective is to help animals through complementary and alternative methods based on a holistic approach.
