Every day is special when you’re a cat owner.

Thanksgiving is a holiday I adopted when I moved to the United States from South Africa. I’m intrigued by the way an entire nation stops to give thanks for the good things bestowed upon them and to get together with family and friends.

When my first Thanksgiving came around, pinpointing what I was most thankful for was easy: my cats.
