Since 1940, the American Humane Association has overseen movie and television sets to ensure animal actors receive proper care and are kept safe from harm. In fact, American Humane Association’s Film & Television Unit is the only animal welfare organization sanctioned by the Screen Actors Guild to have on-set jurisdiction.
With new television shows debuting throughout the fall months, the American Humane Association is proud to recognize several new series that keep animal safety a top priority during production. Animal lovers may want to keep an eye out for the animal co-stars on the following series:
Standoff (Fox) The Class (CBS) Smith (CBS) Jericho (CBS) Six Degrees (ABC) Men in Trees (ABC) Heroes (NBC) Help Me Help You (ABC) Ugly Betty (ABC) Notes from the Underbelly (ABC) 30 Rock (NBC) Daybreak (ABC)
