Neutering a male cat can help him live a longer, healthier life. To help pet owners show their love for their cats, the Houston Humane Society will neuter 300 male cats for free Wednesday, Feb. 14, in a “Fix Felix for Free” special neuter event.
Pet owners can call now to schedule an appointment. The shelter’s number is (713) 433-6421. Each owner can bring a maximum of five male cats to this special neuter event. All owners must provide proof of rabies vaccination in paper form (tags will not be accepted) to have the surgery performed for free. If no paper proof is provided, the surgery will cost $10.
No spay surgeries will be performed at this special neuter event. Only male cats will be accepted, and the male cats may not have
retained testicles.
