“The Departed” took home top honors as the Best Picture at the 79th Annual Academy Awards. It also earned Achievement in Directing honors for Martin Scorsese. The American Humane Association (AHA) praises this award-winning film for including a Certified Humane Animal Safety Representative on the set during production, which earned “The Departed” another accolade: the right to include the “No Animals Were Harmed” end credit disclaimer.
The AHA also recognizes these Oscar-nominated films for including an AHA representative on set during movie production:
