Letterman Show Seeks “Stupid Pet Tricks”

People who have pets that can do odd stunts are wanted.

"The Late Show with David Letterman" seeks pets with unique talents for its Stupid Pet Tricks segment. (Stock photo)
“The Late Show with David Letterman” is looking for contestants to appear in upcoming Stupid Pet Tricks segments on the show.

As the name implies, Stupid Pet Tricks are silly and/or humorous stunts, actions or activities that a pet performs on command in front of an audience.

Pet owners can apply by calling Brian Eta, pet trick coordinator, at (888) 738-8745 (888-PET-TRIK) to qualify for an audition. The trick must be fun, unique
and safe.

Also, animals must perform voluntarily and be treated humanely. Pets must be amateurs and their owners must be willing to appear with them on the show.

The Late Show With David Letterman, a comedy talk show, airs weeknights at 11:30 p.m. Eastern and Pacific Standard Time
on CBS.
