In support of Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and the makers of Fresh Step cat litter will renew their partnership this summer to help find cats and kittens new homes. The two organizations plan to highlight the plight of shelter animals and encourage cat lovers to adopt new pets.
To that end, Fresh Step litter will host the Fresh Step Pet Den adoption station at 12 Animal Planet Expo events this summer. The Pet Den will encourage people to adopt cats and kittens, and will be staffed by pet experts who will provide cat lovers with information on how to care for their new pets. Fresh Step will also make donations to several shelters around the country and will support the ASPCA’s Mission: Orange campaign by donating advertisements in key target communities.
“Through our partnership with the ASPCA, we are committed to finding loving homes for cats and kittens living in shelters,” said David Kellis of Fresh Step litter.
