Morris Animal Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research that protects, treats and cures companion animals and wildlife, is sponsoring a live webcast directed to pet owners on pain management on March 13 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. (EST).
The webcast will be led by Robin Downing, DVM, founder and past president of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. She was also co-chair of the task force that authored the 2007 American Animal Hospital Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners Pain Management Guidelines for Dogs and Cats.
Patricia Olson, DVM, Ph.D., president and chief executive officer of MAF, also will contribute to the discussion.
