In honor of Professional Pet Sitters Week, observed March 4-10, Pet Sitters International (PSI) donated a total of $11,000 to Noah’s Wish and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The funds were raised by the more than 7,600 PSI members to support national disaster relief programs and animal adoption efforts.
“We appreciate the continued support of Pet Sitters International and its members,” said Terri Crisp, founder and president of Noah’s Wish. “Many of our volunteers are pet sitters who recognize their level of responsibility during earthquakes, floods or tornadoes. This generous donation will help as we continue to educate volunteers and communities about disaster preparation
for animals.”
The donation will help the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in its national and international outreach programs, said Paul Berry, CEO.
“We have a network of thousands of people across the country who support our work in rescue and advocating for homeless animals,” Berry said.
