A company that produces entertainment videos for cats is looking to find its next motion picture star.
Kitty Motion LLC is holding an open casting call for feline action stars for the production of its new video feature, “Mewvie Madness II: More Crazy Cats Caught on Tape.”
Cat owners are being invited to post clips of their cats watching scenes from any of three episodes from “Mewvie Madness One” on YouTube.com. Video posters should include the term Mewvie Talent Search in the title line of their video.
The cat or cats featured in the clip with the most views as of Dec. 15, 2006 will receive a gift basket loaded with feline gifts with a retail value of $350. The winning cat will also be featured on the “Mewvie Madness II” DVD cover.
The movie contest rules are:
• Video clips must include a cat or cats watching scenes from any episode of “Mewvie, The Motion Picture for Your Cat.”
• Video clips may be posted on YouTube.com at any time but the contest ends at midnight, Dec. 15th, 2006.
• Clip must be at least 20 seconds in length, but may be longer.
• Clip description must include the word “Mewvie Contest.”
• Kitty Motion will use the YouTube message system to notify the winner and make arrangements for delivery of the gift basket.
• Kitty Motion will contact other contest entrants to request permission to use their clips in future Mewvie promotional materials.
