...The older I get, the more I loathe my own species and love cats more. How can you tell when any private person trying to run a kennel us legit or a hoarder? I mean, especially those that purport to take care of one's animals after one dies. The vet story I believe; though there are still a few vets I've met here in Georgia who'll treat for a reduced charge or not charge for some things at all. Too many are just in it for the money (or because they weren't able to make it in regular medical school!).

I cannot believe the people that hoard animals. I am so glad the Humane Society got the remaining animals. I hope it is made that this woman cannot ever own another animal of any kind.

It is great to hear about the vets, however, there are still a lot of people out there that cannot afford complete vet care. Also, with the way the economy is going, a lot more people (sadly) will not be able to afford the vet care.
