I had a problem with my cat hanging his tail over the edge of the box and he would miss it every time he pooped! We got a cover cat box and he went right in it and he doesn't seem to object. Another neat thing we have is a tv shelf to put the litter box in. We just took it and cut a hole in the side. It has doors on the front so you can slide the box right out. You never see the litter box and it eliminates all odor. You can also buy enclosed cat boxes if you don't want to cut a hole in one yourself. We sit our tv ontop of ours and no one ever notices where the box is! I recommend using The World's Best Cat Litter soley because you can flush it down the toilet. So you never stink up your trash.

Great article. We have five really wonderful cats who aren't so great with the litter boxes... they stalk each other when someone is "going". Might need to have some diversions here to stop this behavior.

My cat has started sleeping in his litterbox. This is a new problem. He's about 17 years old. Is he going senile? He has a good appetite, so I don't think he's sick.

This is shocking I never knew that cats were THAT pickey.
