How We Met

My neighbor's cat had kittens and the little girl looked like there was something wrong with her. When my neighbor brought her to the vet we were informed that she would never walk because all her bones from the bottom rib down are deformed in varying degrees, beginning with a bend in the spine, and it would be better to put her down. It broke our hearts and it made my fiance and I wonder what we could do. So we talked to some friends who offered to build her a little harness and cart since she could use her front legs just fine. So we offered to adopt the sweet little dear. A lot of our friends and family did not agree with our decisions as every vet we spoke to told us that she would never walk. But, we got her at 6 weeks old, and by 8 weeks, she was hobbling around on her own 4 legs and now, at 1 year old, she runs and climbs and jumps and plays and has no idea anything is different about her. Shhhh! we won't tell. we have included pics of her as a baby below.
