HeartBreak
Well, as i continue to update this blog about the "kids" in our lives, sadly my journey continues without my dearest friend. I lost Pretty on March 31st 2009. I have had a lot of ups and downs in dealing with her departure. Most dont understand the hurt, and honestly there is no explaining to a "non animal lover" the pain that comes with losing one of your kids. I've so far been told by a few that "you have 2 other cats, so you'll be fine" or "i'm sure you can find a cat to replace her"
I feel like i'm missing a very important part of my day, and after 20 years of steadfast friendship, purrs and a constant companion, its difficult to explain. I know i had to say goodbye, and my dear baby is now just a purr-print on my heart.........
To my Pretty Kitten....your Mom misses you, and although you may be gone physically, I can still at least look at your pictures and hold them......forever loved my friend...you will be forever lovedCome visit me, Pretty Kitten, Butters & Thomas.

Update
Well, I have continued to amaze my mom. Even though i had a stroke i am still continuing my daily routine. I will be 20 in March!!! Mom knows i cant go on forever, but every day she smiles and gives me a belly rub!!Come visit me, Pretty Kitten, Butters & Thomas.

We just kind of stumbled across your page and noticed your age and your recent vet visit! I am a senior kitty myself. I just celebrated my 21st birthday in June and have had a variety of health issues, but I am affectionately nicknamed the "Energizer Bunny" as I keep going and going and going...I hope you will recover from your suspected stroke and feel much better. HI EVERYONE
Pretty is relaxing as I write this, we have had a very stressful night as many owners of "older" kitties know any minor thing can turn into bigger things. We have just returned from our vets office, and the vet believes Pretty has had possibly a stroke. She is home and okay, but the next few days is going to tell which way she will go. She will either get better....or she wont. I guess we shall see and she is a fighter for sure...so if you wonderful felines and their owners would send / say an extra PURRR for my girl...it would be greatly appreciated!
