HONORING PAPPOOSE KNIGHT'S FOREVER SLEEP♥

The temperature was high 67 & low was 33 this morning, now it's 66 with humidity 37% & wind is 15 MPH N. Wednesday's suppose to be Sunny & High 76.

♥ My little PAPPOOSE #10366 came to our back yard about October 2006 (a few months) after my Six's 10139 Forever Sleep in July 2006. PAPPOOSE was no more than 6 months old when she first started coming here. She was curious about the back room as I called her to come in. After a few trips of coming inside, I decided she was going to stay and be an inside girl. She became my next favorite baby and she eventually became my shadow.

♥ She was Honored to become COTM QUEEN of HEARTS♥ of February 2012. We both enjoyed doing her Catpaign, too, and met so many new friends as well as old ones!!!

♥ Come April 4, 2012 she became very sick so I got her in to see Dr. Nancy that day. They did bloodwork which she was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia. With the help of so many CC friends, I was able to get the other 7 inside kitties in to be tested on 4/12, but Thankfully they all tested Negative!!! PAPPOOSE was re-tested again on 4/14 and still tested Positive.

♥ The days went by and PAPPOOSE'S health continued to deteriate. When she was no longer able to get around, I had to make that hard decision to have a Mobile Vet come to our home to help PAPPOOSE with her Forever Sleep on April 24, 2012!!! She went so quickly from the time she tested Positive on 4/14 and ended her precious life on 4/24 at a young age of 6 years old!!!

♥ To this day, I still have a hard time with missing my SPECIAL girl and still get teary-eyes!!! Well, I could go on and on, but I know I don't have the writing space here. Thank you all for your loving prayers.

The temperature was high 59 & low was 45 this morning, now it's 58 with humidity 56% & wind is 13 MPH WSW. Friday's suppose to be Showers & High 60.

♥ Mom had to go do an errand then stopped at PetSmart on her way back home for another 40 pound box of ExQuisiCat Litter and a case of Friskies can food.

♥ Mom was going to do some more weeding in the front yard, but since it's suppose to start raining today, mom decided to mow the three foot high grass in the back yard instead. Guess who ran and hid when mom started up the mower???? Yep, it was all the outside kitties!!!! Tehehehe!!!!

♥ The growth on the middle of Whyskrs' 10378 back was bleeding again yesterday. Mom took a closer look at it to be sure it wasn't getting infected and seen how raw it looked. Mom cleaned it up and put some Triple Antibiotic Ointment on it.

♥ It twas another short sleepy Knight last night for mom as Whyskrs 10378 continues with his wake up calls for mom. This time was a different wake up as he had Sassee 10605 by the neck as he was trying to act like a tom. Sassee's loud cries had awakened mom as Whyskrs was biting Sassee's neck hard. He got in trouble and mom picked Sassee up to soothe her and check her out. Needless to say, mom will be keeping watch on Sassee's neck. After things were quiet again and mom back to sleep, a little later she was awakened again, to see Whyskrs on top of Sassee!!!! Whyskrs got in trouble again then mom put Sassee on the bed with dad.

♥ Mom made a big pot of Beef Stew this morning with potatoes, baby carrots, celery, can tomatoes, can corn, onions, beef stew meat seared with onions then added to the rest of the stew then she let it simmer for about an hour on the stove. The house smelled good and dad said it was also good.

♥ After I went potty this morning, I was feeling so good that I went racing into the kitchen then jumped up on the window bed in the front room with a big ole loud MEOW!!!! Mom said I was a silly boy!!!! Tehehehe!!!!

froggy out there again and already 40, something we were supposed to see the past few days, but didn't! janet walked with her friend and got soaked with alight steady rain, then did 2 loads of wash while blogging, but still took her all morning since cc hiccuped twice and she had to give it 5 minutes to come back up. remained cloudy after a misty mid to late morning into early afternoon. going to be dry and see the sun to start this morning, but will quickly disappear as the next storm comes in for tonight and tomorrow, so janet's walk is in danger again! making french canadian crock pot potatoes which were started late yesterday, turned off and will be put on warm shortly to restart for lunch today, but have to take them out for a dish to put the cheese on top. sandy, ana, haley, angels

♥ On our local news (KVAL NEWS) Sunday night they reported a lady was seen throwing two kitties in the Willamette River here in Eugene, Oreon. The kitties was rescued and are doing well. They are looking for forever homes for them. We don't know if the lady was caught or not.

♥ This morning when mom had to go to The Veterinary Hospital to buy Carly's (#11000 DC) canned Prescription Diet w/d, a man brought in a long hair Tortie kitty wrapped in a towel. Mom talked to him and asked what happened. He said someone had her in a box and taped the box closed. The man spent most of last night trying to get her to eat and drink water, but she wouldn't. The Vet Hospital said they couldn't do anything without money or they could euthanize her. Mom left and he came out not long afterwards with the kitty. They probably referred him to S.A.R.A.'S Treasures who also helps kitties.

♥ I followed mom into Kittzi's 160203 & Sylvr Tuff's 160205 room on Sunday like I normally do then mom got here cell phone camera out and got me!!!! She changed my profile photo this afternoon.

♥ Mom entered, SYLVESTER KNIGHT, in the Cat Fancy/CatChannel "Cat Pictures: Tuxedo Cats Contest". He's NeuBee's 123633 fur-real boyfriend!!!! We are asking; would you vote for him when you can? Thank You! Ends New Year's Eve! Here's the link:

From the cloud of the Angel Sherman…Surprise campaign today for beautiful little ANGEL MINNOW #211385! This precious furbaby was just starting to enjoy life when a fire broke out at the family home that took the lives of all the animals on a cold January day. This precious angel would have had a wonderful life to look forward to since she was adopted by a family that thinks black kitties are overlooked too often. Sadly for us she heard the calls of the angels at the tender age of 8 months & flew up to the clouds to take her place among them. From the cloud of the Angel Sherman…SURPRISE CAMPAIGN FOR ANGEL LOLA #227723! This beautiful girl was picked up at a breeder’s on 5/22/2004 after the pleas of her young owner finally reached the ears of her parents. Lola & her newfound furiend played together all of the time. She got pushed around in a baby carriage, had special princess parade events & birthday celebrations, plus she helped open her young owner’s birthday gifts. She was the purrfect listener & sat very attentively as her mommy talked about any troubles she was having. At the end of 2011, Lola started getting sick & she was called by the angels on the night of October 14. She’s dearly missed by her young mom & we’d like to help honor her life & the joy she brought to this young cat lover by asking all of you to slink quietly by her page today (Friday October 19th) to paw her an ACOTD vote. Thank you so much for congratulating Angel Nala for her ACOTD win. When brother saw how caring and loving all the kitties and their pawrents were on CC, he was deeply touched. He couldn't believe that a catpaign would be run in honor of his boot camp graduation and in honor of the love he had for sweet Nala. His graduation was awesome, and mom is so glad she was able to go. He is a handsome young Marine, and anxious to continue his training and serve his country. From the cloud of the NICE Angels…Beautiful Nala #144744 was the first cat to ever grace the home of the ARL Alumni but it would never have happened without the begging of young son Erik & the presence of a cat at his babysitter’s house. Nala #144744 made such an impression on mom that soon the house was filled with purrs of love from other furry furbabies & their lives without felines became a distant memory. As many of you know Nala #144744 became an angel at 12:34pm on August 29th, 2012 but some of you may not know that her beloved master Erik was away at Marine boot camp when it happened. When he called mom to tell her the good news about completing it & heading home, he naturally asked about his special cat. Mom shared the heartbreaking news with him but he doesn’t know that she’d asked us earlier to do something special for him by doing an ACOTD campaign for his beloved kitty when he got here. We’re asking everyone to please run, pounce or fly to paw a vote to ANGEL NALA #144744 on Friday October 5th. It will not only honor her memory but will also honor the service to our country of Erik, one of our newest Marines!

♥ Hello Friends, it's me again - BAHNEETAH 10641!

♥ I am doing good and no sign of an abscess. Mom doesn't really xpect to see any, but she will continue to be on the lookout! I did insist on going out yesterday, so mom stayed right next to me and keeping her eyes on TaumKat as he laid by the glass sliding door.

♥ Mom started giving Carly (DC #11000) a haircut on Saturday and she started putting up a fit. Mom ended up giving her a Summer cut instead as she wouldn't sit still. Mom told dad that was the last cut mom was giving Carly and will have to go to a Groomer for now on.

♥ Mom gave Carly a bath yesterday morning. You should have heard that girl put up a comotion! You would think she was being abused! MOL! Mom told dad that was the last bath she was giving as well! Since Carly's total blindness, she has become more restless and sensitive.

♥ Thank you for coming by to Honor my CHARR 10719 on her 4 Year Forever Sleep Anniversary today 9/19. with your sweet messages and leaving the flowers, hugs, poetry, prayers and votes.

♥ CHARR along with all my other Forever Sleep babies will always have their own special place in my heart with the memories.

♥ Whenever CHARR would give a "meow" she would do so with throwing her head back at the same time. She loved her car rides and trips with us along with her littermates brother Ebbonny 10703 and surviving sister Bahneetah 10641. CHARR also loved going in circles trying to catch the end of her tail which she caught many times over. CHARR & Bahneetah had fun opening the cupboard doors as well.

♥ I could go on and on and on, but I will stop. Thank you for all your prayers for my Ron and I for our Hearing in the morning in regards of Aunt Samantha's 15442 traggic death by Pit Bulls.

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 88 & low was 49 this morning, now it's 87 feels like 85 with humidity 30% & wind is 10 MPH N. Friday's suppose to be Sunny☼ & High 90.

♥ Mom took dad to his Sleep Apnea Consultation appointment this morning and has to be back at the Sacred Heart Riverbend Hospital nxt Tuesday evening and spend the night there with being hooked up with all kinds of wires and patches.

♥ When they got back, mom took us out in the front yard for about a 1/2 hour then we got our treats and food when we came back in.
BTW; Wednesday when we got to go out, mom seen Patch (Casper Todd's twin). When mom had her back turned to let dad know about Patch, there was a start of a cat fight. Can you guess who it was???? Yeppers, it was me and TaumKat!!!! Mom was sure surprised as she thought it was me and Patch. She never seen Taum out there at all!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Mom said I was a BAD boy!!!! Well, there shoudn't be other kitties in our yard other than us, RIGHT!!!!

♥ The Veterinary Hospital called mom today letting her know that Dr. Liz wants Carly to stay on that medication "Denamarian" so mom had to have them order it then mom will pick it up next week. That dog's medication is much more xpensive than mine and TC's put together by $50.00 plus!!!!
Carly does a lot of shaking, but has a good appetite!!!!

♥ Mom's disconnecting her computer in the morning to take it to the computer guy so we will not be on for at least a couple days.

From Duckies Desk: ANGEL WEMBLY #72038 has been a CC member for 4 years and 10 months yet doesn’t have the honor of a shiny badge on his page. ANGEL WEMBLY #72038 is a very handsome Himalayan that was given to his mom by her boss after she lost her 17 year old Persian. We know that he brought a ray of sunshine back into her broken heart so that makes him very special in our eyes. ~Surprise Angel Campaign for ANGEL DUSTY #230326~
From Duckies Desk: ANGEL DUSTY #230326 was born to another cat in the house and he made sure he wrapped his paws tightly around his pawents hearts so that they’d never give him up. He never meowed even once his entire life, even though he’d often try. When he opened his mouth only an occasional squeak would come out and that was only if he was annoyed about something. This ‘handicap’ made him very special and adorable to his furless family so they kept him in their happy home until he crossed the bridge on 5/11/2012. He’s been a member of the CC community since March 2012 and has close to 300 votes, yet something is missing from his page that all kitties yearn for at least once. ~Surprise Angel Campaign ~ ANGEL SNEAKERS #18344~
From Duckies Desk: Precious and beloved SNEAKERS #18344 became an angel sometime in August 2006, but we’re unsure of the exact date. This sweet kitty made an impression on his entire neighborhood when he was on earth and was ruler of the area. He brought home presents for his family ranging from snakes and mice to squirrels and rabbits. People from blocks away referred to his furever mom as "Sneaker's Mom". His unexpected arrival helped fill a small part of the void put there by her youngest daughter’s death yet he didn’t ask for much in return. We’re inclined to believe he was sent by the angels to help mend her broken heart with his soft purrs of love. In honor of this special angel we’re asking that the entire community run by to paw an ACOTD vote to ANGEL SNEAKERS #18344 on Friday August 24th so that his mom will know we’re still thinking about both of them even though 6 long years have passed.

~Surprise Angel Campaign~ ANGEL OSCAR #234290~
From Duckies Desk: ANGEL OSCAR #234290 is a very quiet cat on CC and rarely gets visitors, but that doesn’t make him any less special in our eyes. This precious angel was born at the home of the grandparents of his young profile owner after his mom was abandoned at their house. He was the only kitten in the litter that grandma kept so we know he had some special magnetism that made her choose him over the other 3 fursibs. Grandma had him for a long time before the grand kids started yowling that they wanted a cat of their own. Grandma was a sweet lady so she graciously let the family take him to their home. After a while he got homesick so the family returned him to grandma’s house. He was happy to be back in familiar surroundings but one day he was out and got hit by a car. He wasn’t called to the angels that day, but perhaps the shock to his system was too much for this sweet kitty to contend with because a few months later he crossed the bridge. Please take a minute out of your busy day Friday to stop over and paw an ACOTD vote to ANGEL OSCAR #234290 and let him know that he’s not forgotten. From Duckies Desk: Hear ye, hear ye…we’ve found another angel that’s been a member of our community for almost 2 years and still doesn’t have that first elusive badge. We’ve gathered all of the angels together and are sending our loudest meows across the community as we fly over asking all of you to stop by to visit ANGEL KOKOMO #187218 Friday so he can earn his own day in the spotlight. This handsome Siamese kitty celebrated his 15th birthday on September 9, 2011 and was called to the angels one week later on September 16. This precious furbaby and his other Siamese sibs are very quiet on CC but they do come by to congratulate winners, so that in itself is deserving of a special visit from as many of us as we can rally to help this dear angel earn his very first badge. ~AUGUST 3rd SURPRISE ANGEL CAMPAIGN~
From Duckies Desk………….We found a precious angel that has been a member of CC for 5 years and 10 months that still has hasn’t gotten his first badge. ANGEL RAJAH #3097, whose name means King in Hindu, had many health issues during his life. Though he suffered with chronic U.T.I., diabetes, asthma, and arthritis, this sweet kitty never let them keep him down for long so that he could continue his dominant rule over the other kitty sibs and dog in the house. RAJAH #3097 finally lost his battle with illness on January 30, 2008. He fought like a trooper but things were too hard this time and he went to sleep peacefully in his mom’s arms wrapped in his favorite fleece blanket.
Please help us honor the memory of valiant ANGEL RAJAH #3097 on Friday August 3rd by pouncing to his page and giving his vote button a good whack so that we’ll be able to see his star become the most brilliant in the heavens tomorrow night as he celebrates finally earning that first ACOTD badge.

The temperature was high 79 & low was 57 this morning, now it's 75 with humidity 48% & wind is 6 MPH NE. Saturday's suppose to be Partly Sunny☼ & High 79.

♥ We never got to go outside today, but we have been spending lots of time in the cattery. BAHNEETAH 10641 laid next to mom on the couch this morning and since mom was just sitting there watching tv, I decided to let mom hold me for awhile then I left. A bit later, WHYSKRS 10378 had mom hold him. CALLIE spent time on the kitty bed that's on the other couch.

♥ TaumKat's still living here in the back yard and doing ok. Mom says she's going to have to bring him in the back room to work on his ears though as he keeps itching. He loves to be around mom plus his pettings.

♥ TC is doing well, too. He's happiest when no other kitty is around. He still takes his heart♥ pill like a good boy every morning. Mom cut him down on his wet food intake. He now gets a little late night as well as SISSEE 11531 before mom turns in. Yes, Sissee still comes in the back room every night to sleep.

♥ CARLY'S {11000 on DC} doing well and happy. She loves her walks again as well!!!!
