While the festivities of the holidays are going on night and day your little Angels are busily watching over loved ones and praying for friends and loved ones. Please pray for the family of Sammy #103565 who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Christmas Eve, 2008. Sammy was welcomed by a large group of the Angel Kitties and has made many new friends during his first Christmas at the Rainbow Bridge. A Poem: THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS 2008!! A bright light I do see coming from Heaven, as I walk through my gate- Closer and closer it comes in a blur- I must be mistaken- Did I hear a purr? I can see lots of tiny wings- And bags and bags all stuffed full of things- My eyes have deceived me, Oh what a pity- I thought I saw a sleigh with a kitty- OH, I AM RIGHT! This is Christmas Eve Night- And this is the flight of the Angel Kitties tonight! They are returning to earth, to let us all know they haven't forgotten their furriends and loved ones below! Then quickly with the help of their wings- fill all our stockings with hugs, kisses, and all sorts of things- As they fly back toward Heaven I hear, very clear- MERRY CHRISTAS TO ALL, YOU'RE ALL VERY DEAR- WE LOVE SO MUCH- WE'LL BE BACK THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!!! Celebrate!
On 09/18/2008, I was King for a Day. I woke mom up early - I was ready for my first special treat. Mom gave me some tuna wet cat food, which is my most favorite thing. Darling and Sabrina wanted to make me breakfast in bed, so I gallantly went back to bed. After breakfast, I had my nails buffed, and then we all retired to the open screened window to watch the birds outside. After a lunch of delicacies, mom set up the DVD so we could watch our favorite movies. Then we laid down for a relaxing afternoon nap. We had to rest up because mom had arranged a big party with all the neighborhood invited (in my honor of course). We bobbed for fish (just plastic - mom doesn't like us torturing any live things - she even catches and puts our bugs outdoors), played Kitty Monopoly and Kitty Charades, and - WOW - you should have seen the fireworks. Thanks so much for celebrating this occasion with me.
