RUMBLE, ROAR…12 MOTORCYCLES…
smoothly maneuver into the driveway of Range who is already celebrating her Birthday! The riders skillfully purrrrr to a stop, six on one side of the driveway and six on the other side. In unison Zoe Monique #147612, Cyndee #160997, Kuzi #184183, Kiska #108389, Vika #211366, Thundie #210289, Doodlebug #189639, Q. Lola #131462, Mallow #161233, Snowy #189930, and Ammie #208214 step off their magnificent Harleys, take off their helmets, hang them on their bikes and look to me as this week’s Leader of the Hairballz Rainbow Riders. I’m standing next to my 500 cc Katasaki. I say “Let’s go help Range celebrate her Birthday!”
We carry in the goodies that smell so heavenly. We shower Range with confetti, balloons and we blow catnip bubbles for her to pop. We bring out the salmon cake, tuna ice cream, creamy milk and piles of other goodies and fattening snacks for her to enjoy and share with the rest of her friends who have stopped by to party! We hand her the boxes and bags of wrapped cat toys and surprises.
I meow to the Riders: “Come on Hairballz Riders – time to roll!” Just as smoothly as they arrived, the expert riders strap on their helmets, hop onto their motorcycles and follow my lead down the driveway and off to our next destination. We wave to Range who is now playing in the boxes and bags (always more fun than the actual cat toys…).
We give a motorcycle “wave” as we rumble across Range’s votey button and roar off down the highway looking for our next adventure…

If you need more holiday treats, I have a recipie for cheese lovers that will tickle your palate!
Holiday Cheese Balls
2 tablespoons soft margerine
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 egg white
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. catnip!!!!
Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine margarine, cheese, catnip and egg white. Add flour to make a soft dough. Separate dough into half-inch pieces and roll into balls. Bake on ungreassed cookie sheet for 35 minutes. Makes about 12 yummy balls! Enjoy!

Good Morning Range
We finally got some good rain yesterday. Mom thought it was going to be a bust because it would sprinkle, sun come out and so on for most of the day yesterday, but finally at five it rained real good for several hours. Today it is a chilly morning, but love it! Well mom found out that Minnie was alive after her freedom. I say was, because mom is not sure if I or Freckles finally killed her last night. Our boy found Minnie in our cardboard castle. Freckles was playing with her this morning and mom told him to see what the heck she was doing. Now I am relaxing on the back of the couch watching these crazy kitten bat around one of crinkle balls. She just has way to much energy for me :) Our mom's allergy is not the worst it has been, even though yesterday was pretty rough for her. Sometimes meds help and other times all they do is drug her out pretty bad. But today seems to be a good day because of the rain. Mom was watching the news about all the flooding, and was concerned about you and your family. Hope you are not in the food area. It's so devestating and destructive for so many families in Pa.

Good Morning Range
Hope you had a nice weekend. It has still been raining off and on. Yesterday the sun finally came out after it rained and it sure made things very muggy, so no way did I go outside then. Dad worked under the kitchen sink, putting in something he called a garbage disposal. I tried to help by moving pieces closer to him, but he didn't appreciate my help at all. Mom didn't do much of anything after church, but watch tv. And then she spent several hours on the phone with her mom. I always know it is her mom when she is on that long. I haven't been up to a whole lot other then wrestling with Freckles from time to time and watching the birds from my tower. Have a good day today.
