In disgrace
I was a VERY bad boy today at the cat show. I went after the second judge to see me. Because of my attitude I was disqualified. That means I CANNOT win any ribbons or points AT ALL any more. Mom can never show me again. While that makes ME happy, Mom is very, very upset with me, because I BIT Mom...on the wrist. I didn't break any skin, but it was right there in front of EVERYONE so everyone now knows that I am NOT a nice kitty.

Yeah, Mom's real proud of those pictures too. Purrsonally, I would have rather grabbed that big ol feather they were teasing me with. That was one of the coolest looking feathers I'd ever seen! MOL! But you know, YOUR pictures are good too. I'm sorry that you are so scared of cameras. I admit, I was scared at first too, because the way things are set up, it was really weird! There was this big padded THING that looked like the back of a couch, but...there was no SEAT! And then about 2 feet behind it was this big curtain of the same material as on the couch back thingie. And he had some of the BIGGEST LIGHTS I'd ever seen! Yeah, it was a bit scary, but that feather...Oooooh...that FEATHER!!!! MOL! - Highland Piper

Mom showed me the pictures of your acne
I thought that was a very ingenious way to get out of cat shows...at first. THen I saw those pictures. That looks downright PAINFUL! I can't say that I'd encourage you to continue something that looks hurty!
I really just don't know what to say, Linus! I mean...both of our Moms seem to have been bitten by that old Cat Show Bug and WE are the ones who have "suffered". At least Mom figured out that I just was not going to put up wiht that any longer and stopped showing me. But now...to take me along as "moral support"??? I can't say I'll be very pleased about that. that if you nurture those bumps on your chin, if you ENCOURAGE that "acne", your Mom will have NO CHOICE but to PERMANENTLY RETIRE YOU FROM THE SHOW CIRCUIT! Maybe your acne IS from stress??? If that is the case, will it get worse once you have your new sissy???

Good for your Mom, Linus!
NOT that she brought you out of retirement, heaven knows *I* think that once retired, we should STAY retired! But I think it was great that your Mom was able to show off what a EUROPEAN Burmese looks like and that she emphasized that you are SUPPOSED to look different than the Americans.
And now...I have heard whispers about MY being taken out of retirement to be a companion cat for Piper at his next cat show. Hmmmmmm. We'll see how he treats me AT the show. Hopefully he won't be upset at the other kitties being there and then take it out on me. Mom hasn't had that happen with me or Sebastian, but that DID happen with the PMS Gang here at home...when a strange kitty appeared at the window they would turn on each other and fight. So far, WE have never done that, even when the other kitty was hissing at us. We just ganged up together and STARED THEM DOWN. - Mocha's Myst'ry

Thanks for writing. On Mar. 26 our mom broke the femur in her right leg and the other leg was close to breaking so he did both legs put titanium rods in. She cannot put any weight on her right foot yet. Today being Easter she got to come home for a few hours. She has a new laptop and she doesn't know how to use it yet. When is sister arriving? you are so fortunate to have a Euro Burmese breeder in your state. There are non around here. Only two Traditional that we know of. There seems to be a bit of a pregidice against the Euro's here also. When mom decided she wanted one she had to go looking elsewhere. Canada has some breeders. That was 10 years ago so probably alot of changes since we got Meko. We are very excited for you, Rider and your mom. She looks so cute. Winston

Mom has a new lap top and is not doing so good with it! Is your sister a Tortiseshell? Mom got one of her cat books out and saw one that she thought looked like your little sister. That is what is neat about Ero Burmese, so many colors. You know Meko's face is so different from mine. She is a Traditionl Burm and her face is quite flat. Amazing how different we look. Mom along with us is very excited for your mom, you and Rider. Winston

the paperwork from the CFA so that she can get ME registered into the ACFA too. At least we're in good company! Mom has been working with me with that clicker thing. to ACFA shows and are going to get YOU registered there, too? I suppose that means Mom will be getting hold of YOUR mom so that she can register Piper with the ACFA too. I am so sorry that your Mom has found another place to take you so that you must suffer the life of a show kitty. Oh, I agree with Rider and you...our moms are WARPED. I do NOT understand this "thing" they have about taking us to cat shows. I know Mom keeps telling me that she wanted to show me because she thought I was so beautiful. She says the same about Piper. She is soooo adorable! When we saw the pictures of her on the bed, we thought Tornado Allie would be a great name for her. Also, like you said, it goes with your name! That's my vote! Just remember to start out showing her who the boss is! That's what I did when Benny and J.P. came. It was easy when they were small, but now they sometimes try to challenge me! Oh Linus, I am so VERY sorry that your
mom has decided to bring home yet another intruder. I know my mom sure would have loved to have another girl kitty, but I have news for her...there was only ONE Pepper and there would have been no guarantees that I would have accepted another girl kitty the way I had accepted and loved Pepper. Mom says I was pretty wild when she got me, so you will probably be in for a lot of wild kitten behavior when you get your sissy. I've really got no advice to give you, and I'm sorry.

Your Mom has been BITTEN by the cat show bug and you are such a good looking EB, plus you have such a good disposition about the cat show thing, that she just wants to take you and show you off! She is really so very proud of you. To be honest, my whole family is hoping that you can get over that acne thing. Your chin will feel so much better and your mom won't have to scrub on it all the time.

~*~THINGS TO DO~*~
This morning the temperature is 46 feels like 44 with the humidity at 93% & the wind is 6 MPH. Today's suppose to be Partly Cloudy & 57.

I am still mom's desk kitty and I even lay my front paws over her arm watching her so she can't type. MOL! I did get a little barfy early this morning with it being a little pinkish.

Kittzi Knight 160203 should finish up her Thank Yous tonight then I can return to the evening shift.

All we did on Saturday was sleep. Mom even took a nap sitting up with Pappoose 10366 sleeping next to her and Whyskrs 10378 was sleeping on the back of the couch behind mom's head.

Dad was at his brother-in-law's getting his new truck fixed. The radiator was no good and the thermostat needed replaced, too. Now it doesn't heat up. Dad just needs to take a few things off his old truck then mom can put it up for sale.

Mom has a busy day ahead as this is garbage day to put out. Mom has our litter boxes to clean and then she has a load of laundry to fold and put away. She has to pick up Rhoamin's 2921 refill at Wal*Mart and go 10 miles to get her chlorestol medication all on Monday plus she has to stop at PetSmart to buy our dry food.

1242 ~*~FAMILY AFFAIR~*~
This morning the temperature is 48 feels like 45 with the humidity at 93% & the wind is 8 MPH. Today's suppose to be Showers & 54.

I am still mom's desk kitty and I sleep on it day and night so therefore I don't get my blue blankey. Mom says it would be unsafe for me on the desk to have it over me. Mom says I look like a worn and tired out old man. I quit sleeping on the wicker cat bed.

Kittzi Knight 160203 will start on her Thank Yous tonight which means I will be here in the mornings til Kittzi is done.

Whyskrs 10378 woke mom up early with his meowing and scratching at the kitchen door. Then Rhoamin 2921 woke mom back up this morning as he was on the kitchen counter and got a wrapped candy and was playing with it. Mom told him he was a silly boy.
