How We Met
Max and Dex were rescued before they were born. Their mom was living with a couple who did not bother to get her fixed. They also had two pit bulls who ate all the prior kittens the mother gave birth to. The owners didn't understand the big deal but agreed to allow the Cat Coalition to take the new kittens when they were born and fix the mom. The mom, Onyx, gave birth to 5 kittens and all have found loving homes. She has been fixed and returned to her owners. Max and Dex were fostered until we adopted them 9/20/08 via the Cat Coalition - who does great work, by the way.

We live in Santa Cruz, CA, on the CA Coast 75 miles South of San Francisco and would like to be your friends. We live just on the edge of the city, near a big gully that comes down from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our Mom is our warden, keeps us indoors, as we have lots of wildlife outside. Mom doesn’t mind the deer, skunks (except for the smell - pee-U!) or ‘possum, doesn't want a raccoon, fox or coyote to snack on us. We tend to agree!
Maggie is all black and her son Yogi is all grey. Tipper is a pretty grey & white Tuxedo Kitty. Maggie has received COTD honors. Tipper & Yogi are now hoping that we’ll be COTD some day, just like you, Super Kitty!!
