It's All In A Day's Work
Mom gets up in the morning and counts cat noses. Feeds two sets of cats and pets a few. Cooks breakfast. Holds a few cats. Does a load of laundry, plays with a cat or two. Does a little yard work. Pets and plays with cats. Several times a day, counts all cats again! Runs to PetsMart, buys catfood. Comes home and brushes as many cats as can be caught. Throughout the day, follows nose and cleans litter boxes. Several times a day opens canned cat food and checks dry food and water bowls. Then at the end of the day, sits down, hold yours truly, and ponders why so little housework gets done, HeHe! It Was So Nice To Hear From You!
Our temps are going up too. 95-98 for the next seven days and no rain in sight, but the humidity is still very high. The mosquitos love it! Of all our gang, Sia-Meezer is by far the most shy and afraid of everything. Since the boys arrived last Friday night, she has spent nearly all her time under Mom's bed. We believe she comes out at night after all the house is quiet and everyone is asleep. Mom goes in, closes the door, and calls her out a few times a day to give her food, treats, and pick her up and cuddle her. When we look at Sia-Meezer we see what a fine line there is between a socialized house cat and their feline cousins living in the wild.
