How We Met

We were walking home at 2 a.m. a movement in the bushes caught our attention, out stepprd a newly weaned tabby kitten. We didn't want to take her home because Maggie is supposed to be aggressive to other cats, but she wouldn't take NO. She ran ahead of us then flopped over showing her belly, she would come back and wind around first my boyfriend then my ankles, run ahead flop repeat, this went on fo almost a full mile before we came to a main road, we gave her the option of going back or being carried across 2 main roads and a highway overpass. She chose to be carried once we got back in a safer neighborhood we put her down and the same game started over. Once we got home she was so starved that after eaing a bowl of dry food she started trying to eat food wrappers out of the trash, we sat out another bowl and it was gone. Maggie watced calmly and when we put Mags food out,( canned due to her smushed face) She shared it without a fuss. 2 weeks have passed and no signs in the area we found her, no one has claimed her, but she has claimed me and no she is an inside only kitty.
