I, Jinx, am a baaaad boy. This morning while it was still dark, mom went to open the front door for her brother-in-law (who locked himself out) and I shot my little fanny out the door. It was pouring rain and I trotted off to the neighbor's yard meowing my head off because I was getting wet. Hey, nobody told me that would happen! Anyway, mom comes flying out after me in her robe while the brother-in-law went to get his flashlight. I tried seeking shelter under the bushes but it was wet there too so I dashed past mom onto the porch where I started to give myself a proper bath. Mom scooped me up, gave me a smack and said if I ever pull another stunt like that my furry little butt will be in permanent lock down. Does that seem fair to you? It's not like I ran off. Brrrrr....it is fweezing this morning! Mom got out my heated mat and I have been in Heaven all morning! Max and Dex had to come over and check it out but fortunately they were not in the mood to try and lay on it. There really isn't enough room and I was in the mood to stretch out. Mom came in the room and caught me on my back with all my paws spread. She thought I didn't notice and went for her camera and of course I rolled right over. What is it with moms wanting photos of our tummies? Is there some adult cat magazine out there paying top dollars for those kinds of shots or what? *Sigh* It's supposed to warm up this afternoon so things are looking good for a walk. Greetings from the Rainbow Bridge. I'm flying by to say hello to all my Earth friends and to sprinkle some of my special uplifting angel dust on you. We've been keeping busy here welcoming newcomers, praying for our ailing friends and family, watching over our families and participating in butterfly chases, simple races, afternoon barbeques, naps in the sun and anything we can find that is fun. I got to send mom a special angel hug this morning because she found frost on her car for the first time and she is never ready for winter to come. MOL. Luckily it is not too cold for Sylvester to get his walks in but when it is, I'll have to spend extra special time with him as well because he always mopes when that happens and I am determined to snap him out of it. I manage to wake them most nights as I think I need food and I need my moist food added to the dry. I did drink from my water fountain; but I am not sure about it.

It's another cloudy, rainy day today. Mom tried to cheer up the giant by giving him a can of Fancy Feast this morning. Actually, we all got one, though Dex and I still have to share. Mom will be going to Pet Smart soon for our weekly supplies and she has hinted there just may be a surprise tucked in the supplies somewhere. Or there may not. Now I ask you, is that a very nice thing to tell us? We are on pins and needles waiting to see if we get a present and what that present may be. *Sigh* I'm hoping it's the mouse she saw last week. She says she can wind it up to scatter about on its own for us to chase. Doesn't that sound like fun?
