My Latest Adventures I started yesterday my usual routine, except my human family didn't go away to work. They told me I was going for a ride. That meant going in that car again. They set me up with a litter box, my carrier with my fleece blanket, and a water dish. I let them know as soon as we started out that I wasn't pleased to be in a car by meowing for a good 15 minutes or so. When we arrived at our destination, the car stopped at a toll booth and the lady in the box told me how cute I was. After that the car was parked and I was left while they went to take care of something. I looked all around the parking lot and watched the people. I made sure to leave something stinky in the litterbox for when my humans came back to let them know I wasn't very pleased with being hauled along for the ride. But they came back, aired out the car and my human mom held me for most of the way back so things turned out alright. Just as I thought things were getting back to normal, the doorbell rang and I decided to run down the stairs to see who was visiting. Well, I was so excited that when the door opened to let the man from the phone company in, I just walked out on the porch to greet him. I was quickly grabbed by my human dad and told that I can't go outside at all since I lost my collar somewhere. That collar was noisy because it had my tags on it and I hooked it on something so it would break free and I wouldn't have to wear it. I've put it where they will never find it. I have a much quieter collar now and can sneak up on my humans for fun. I followed the phone man around for a while while he installed something called internet, but he was kind of boring and so I went and slept in a sunny window. What a day!Come visit me, Amelia.

They took me for a ride then locked me up!! My human parents have this silly notion that they want me to be ok riding in a car. Sometimes the car is ok, but most of the time I don't like it when it moves. The car usually means a trip to the vet. Today they took me to the hardware store and of course they left me locked in the car. I was snuggly and warm in my blanket, but they left me. Then we drove to the vet and thank goodness they left me in the car there, I was ok with that. They came back out with food and treats and something called a toothbrush. I haven't found out what the last one does yet, but they keep telling me that they will try it on me this weekend. I'm not too sure about that. After that scary ride, they brought me home and told me that they were going to do something called wallpapering. They told me that it was in my best interest to be locked in the bathroom while they did this so I wouldn't get paste on me. All I knew was they put me in the bathroom and closed the door on me. I slept in the window on top of my playhouse, drank some water and ate some food. They didn't come back for a long time. I tried crying at the door but they just told me that they were sorry, but they didn't want paste in my hair. After what seemed like days, they let me out and I cuddled with them for a while. I hope they don't lock me up again for a long time. Even though they were kind of nice and put toys in there, I just like to be with my humans.Come visit me, Amelia.

Grrrrrrrr Hisss Vet Today my family left me alone all day telling me that they had to go to this thing called work. So I decided to let them know that leaving me was unacceptable so I shredded the toilet paper. Then when my human mom came home she cuddled me and let me know that everything was fine. SHE LIED TO ME! She was all nice to me and then put me in my cat carrier, which I usually find a great place to play in, and took me out into the cold. Then we got in the car and went for a ride. Not too bad so far. After that I entered a warm place with interesting smells. I vaguely rememered those smells. I was at the VET!!! Apparently my family didn't like that I kept sneezing in their faces and making terrible noises at night. So they brought me to this horrible place and put me on a cold metal table where some seemingly nice lady who told me I was pretty, put something up my rear. Then this man looked up my nose, down my throat, and rubbed my neck (ok that did feel good). He told my family that I had a little infection and some medicine would clear that up. Then the nice lady put some yucky goop down my throat and told me I was a good kitty. YUCK! I went and hid in my cat carrier and wouldn't come out. My family took me home and fed me and loved me. I found some great stuff to play with under the chair. You have to try this stuff. My humans call it styrofoam. Well they told me that I shouldn't have it, especially when my human mom had to wipe a piece of it that I got stuck in my eye. It would have come out eventually, but I was thankful that she took it out and licked her to let her know it. That's pretty much my exciting day.Come visit me, Amelia.

Boring day Yesterday was pretty boring. I slept in my favorite spot by the window in the living room, and my family was out organizing in the garage. Since they forgot to check and see that my food dish was getting low, I decided to grab the bag of treats on the counter and shredd the bag. Boy I made a big mess! But I got some of those yummy treats. Then when I would hear them coming in and out of the garage, I would stand at the door and meow so they knew I needed someone to play with me. They finally payed attention and both played with me and let me chew on a pretty purple scarf. Then they abandoned me again so they could go and get dinner. When they came back I showed them the mess I made and they finally realized that my dish was empty. I ate my dinner and curled up in my paper bag and went to sleep for a while. What a day!Come visit me, Amelia.
