it's still
raining in pretty good shape as we had boomers since mid-night and they stopped around 3:30 when janet finally got up to start blogging. was at the er for a good part of the later afternoon yesterday, master fell outside of his eye dr's and was brought home after being checked out and having his eye exam brought home by natty, then just a slight sprained wrist and bruised rib so came home and janet went the longer way around due to traffic tie ups. sandy,ana,haley,angels

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
This morning the temperature was 52 with the humidity @ 93% & the wind is 7 MPH SSW and now it's a High of 81 @ 41% & the wind is 5 MPH NE. Saturday's suppose to be Mostly Cloudy & High 79.

Mom forgot to close our window yesterday morning before she went out in the back yard and after she started using that noisy weedeater, I was no longer lying in the window when she looked so she called dad on his cell phone (he was in the house) and asked him to close our window.

For the next several months we may not be on too often as mom and dad will be xtra busy. We will try to get on when we can!

our
temps are starting to warm back into the mid to upper 60s to near 70 today through tuesday before getting cooler and back to the 50s again but remaining cloudy for the most part this coming week as we badly need some rain and think the weather pattern of mostly sunny days is about to go back to active and not seeing much if any of the sun for a week or more at a time. we don't much care as if it re-mains on the warm side then we're okay with it as well as all in this house. just as long as the "s" word stays away for the rest of this year till late next fall into winter. janet's gotten her garden started and hopes to plant the last of the seeds in it today as well as raking up some of the nasty pine needles which need cleaning twice a year. as well as some weeding. grass still a brownish color with patches of green coming in. sandy,ana,haley,angels

it was 30 when janet looked when she got up a bit late this morning due to oversleeping thanks to night sweats which had her up and changing her clothes yet again and keeping her awake for an hour or more before she finally got back to sleep. our snow pack is down to 2-3" out there now and are very happy it's slowly disappearing and have hopes it'll all be gone by easter. this storm is due to stick around and die out over us through tuesday of next week and that's boring. sandy, ana, haley, angels

"6 7 0 0" ~PRAYERS FOR SYLVESTER KNIGHT~
The temperature was high 53 & low was 36 this morning, now it's 52 with humidity 69% & wind is 0 MPH. Sunday's suppose to be Mostly Cloudy & High 47.

♥ Mom came out to feed us Friday, afternoon @ 4:00, but I wasn't hungry. Mom didn't think too much of it cuz a few of us wasn't ready to eat. Mom came out later @ 7:00pm & I was still not wanting to eat. Mom asked me if I was ok, but I just laid there in a comfy bed on the patio couch. Mom went on to feed the other kitties & when she came back, she seen that I was out of the bed & on all 4 paws, but only standing in one place. She called me so I responded by walking to her & in circles doing this a couple times so she picked me up & was kissing my head. She thinks I may have been in some kind of confused mode then laid me in the comfy bed on the patio couch rubbing my tummy.

♥ Later when it was time for our last late night feeding, mom came out & didn't see me & called once then asked NeuBee 123633 & Suezee 11528 where I was & of course they never told! Mom got everyone fed & called me again then started looking for me. I moved which caught her attention. I just stood in one place so mom had to bend over a couple saw horses to pick me up by the scruff of my neck & never fought once which was NOT like me! She seen I was weak, maybe dehydrated some & a bit confused! Mom decided to put me in the back room in a large crate as she was afraid she'd lose me if I wasn't confined.

♥ Mom's feeding me Friskies can food mixed with water to be more soupylike! I'm eating so she's happy bout that & going pee. She microwaved a SnuggleSafe & I'm now curled up to. Mom checks on me many times to see how I'm doing. I just lay & look at her!

♥ Mom's taking me to see Dr. Liz Monday @ 1:30pm providing I'm not better since there wasn't no openings this morning! The only time I've ever seen a vet was in 2002 as I had my big boy surgery @ 9 months old thru Feral Cat Coalition. Please keep me in your prayers.

♥ Mom did change my profile photo today & also added 6 newer pictures in my picture gallery.

it was
a gorgeous day a rarity for the middle of february when it was clear, sunny and 50! janet took advantage of it while it's lasting and had her bedroom windows opened up wide to let all the fresh air in and we cats were on here bed loving every minute of it too! we've lost a lot of snow and were down to 10" as of noontime yesterday. today is the last day of such warmth, super duper cold this weekend and then up/down all next week, typical when we move towards spring. sandy, ana,haley, angels

Please excuse the c/p but I want to make sure I get to everyone today.

I want to start off by meowing my deepest thanks to everyone that came by on the 10th to honor my crossing anniversary. It was hard for mommy to let me go & she made the vet run every test available to make sure I really had FIP before she made the final decision to help me across the Rainbow Bridge. My suffering was ended but mom's heart was broken since I was one of her special rescues. Not wanting mom to stay sad I helped guide dad to Trixie at a pet shop they never go to the following month, even though mom was reluctant at first.
I knew she would help fill the void in mom's heart but I also know I'll never be forgotten.
Because of your visits & votes I won my 4th COTD badge yesterday so with happy, angelic purrs I've come by to thank you for making it happen. CC furiends are outstanding, loving, & very supportive so thank you SO much for being who you are & don't ever change because you're purrfect like you are.

6641 ~*~ MUCH SADNESS IN 2012 ~*~
EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 41 & low was 35 this morning, now it's 41 feels like 43 with humidity 79% & wind is 3 MPH NNE. Monday's suppose to be Rain & High 41.

♥ Mid February 2012, TC had some kind of infection as he lost several pounds then later he was diagnosed with a heart murmur & now takes Benazepril daily (Heart med). He's doing well.

♥ PAPPOOSE 10366 was CC's COTM the month of February 2012 then she became very sick beginning April 2012 so mom took her to see Dr. Nancy on April 4th to get the devastating news for testing Positve of Feline Leukemia. Mom had to get all 8 of us inside kitties tested which was on April 12th, but thankfully we all came back Negative. Mom took Pappoose back for her 2nd FeLV test as it, too, came back Positive. Mom spent the next 12 days of precious time with Pappoose then mom had to make a call to a mobile vet to come to our home to have help with Pappoose's Forever Sleep on April 24, 2012.

♥ Mom noticed VELVET 10732 wasn't feeling well and not eating so on July 7, 2012 mom took Velvet to see Dr. Liz who did bloodwork & urinalysis which all test indicating cancer plus her whole tummy was full of fluid. Mom had to make another hard decision of her Forever Sleep.

♥ On August 18, 2012 mom awakened about 4:30am to loud barking dogs so mom checked the back yard & seen 2 PitBulls. Dad contained the dogs after they killed AUNT SAMANTHA 15442 & waited in the front yard for Police to come. Mom checked the back yard for the rest of the kitties by flashlight & found neighbor cat Daphne dead, too.

♥ September 7, 2012 mom had to take TaumKat to see Dr. Liz to find out he has a cancerous tumor under his tongue which is now a bit worse. He's ok for now.

♥ Our doggie sister, CARLY [#11000 DC] has been to see Dr. Liz several times due to her Diabetes along with liver & kidney issues. She's lost about 7 lbs & now underweight. She is a few months over age 14.

♥ Mom says she's praying for a better year in 2013 as she has lost too many babies and too much heartache in 2012. We pray for everyone to have a better year to come as well as we know we're far from being the only ones with tragedy and sadness!!!!

we've been pretty
lucky so far with storms, two only giving us 1/2" of snow and no more. the last one came in two parts the first was a dusting of snow some sleet and freezing rain which stay- ed with us through most of sunday till temps finally warm- ed up and it rained that night and some of monday morning too as well as yesterday it really came down in the morn- ing. today and tomorrow the only good days and sunshine this week, as another big rainmaker tomorrow night into friday ending as a period of snow on saturday which isn't good! also really cold then too only lower 30s. sandy, ana, haley, angels

Thank you for stopping by with condolences on the crossing of our sweet little Pixie last week. I'm sorry for the delay in responding but mom wasn't in the mood to do any blogging right after it happened. She's been laid to rest in our backyard with our other beloved furbabies & will share the clouds with them to watch over all of us. Her sweet kisses,soft purrs & playful catitude will be dearly missed but to know that she's in a place that's free of all earthly woes is uplifting & let's us move on with our daily lives with a little more peace. ♥ Thank you for coming by to Honor my CHARR 10719 on her 4 Year Forever Sleep Anniversary today 9/19. with your sweet messages and leaving the flowers, hugs, poetry, prayers and votes.

♥ CHARR along with all my other Forever Sleep babies will always have their own special place in my heart with the memories.

♥ Whenever CHARR would give a "meow" she would do so with throwing her head back at the same time. She loved her car rides and trips with us along with her littermates brother Ebbonny 10703 and surviving sister Bahneetah 10641. CHARR also loved going in circles trying to catch the end of her tail which she caught many times over. CHARR & Bahneetah had fun opening the cupboard doors as well.

♥ I could go on and on and on, but I will stop. Thank you for all your prayers for my Ron and I for our Hearing in the morning in regards of Aunt Samantha's 15442 traggic death by Pit Bulls.

This morning the temperature is 48 with the humidity @ 86 & the wind is 0 MPH. Today's suppose to be Sunny☼ & High 79.

♥ WooHoo, our football team; Oregon Ducks won their season opener against Arkansas State with scores @ 57 to 34!!!!

♥ Sunday morning mom took the five of us inside kitties out in the front yard. One of the neighbor guys started talking to me so I ran over to be close to mom while Whyskrs 10378 ran over to the guy. Then he decided to roll over on his back xposing his tummy so the guy started to pet Whyskrs' tummy when mom told him he didn't like that and Whyskrs proved mom right as he grabbed the guy's arm. The man was nice about it and said he was surprised to see a cat not like tummy rubs.

♥ Mom spent about four plus hours in the girls' {Kittzi 160203 & Sylvr Tuff 160205} room dusting, washing and vacuuming. Mom also turned their soft cube bed inside out and tossed it in the washer along with a few other things. Mom then added the new dust free litter in their clean litter box. Oh, Kittzi & Sylvr Tuff was in their cattier in the bathroom with the bathroom door closed.

♥ TC {this is not TaumKat} finally went outside on Sunday for the whole day til just after dark.

♥ Wow, was I SURPRISED this morning when I was told that I'm having a SHOUT OUT vote day today! Thank you all for coming by just to vote for me whether you left a blog or not as I really do appreciate all the votes.

♥ I am out of my fur mama's (Baby 13286) second litter of kittens. There were five of us in the litter. My sister who looked similar to me drowned in the neighbor's little pond. She was still a kitten at the time. I also have two brothers: Sweet Pea & Six who has already went to their Forever Sleep and then there's Sylvester that thinks he's the King of us outside kitties. MOL! I am a little over 11 years old now and still going strong! I really haven't had any health issues which pleases mom. Yes, I really am a quiet one here in the Knight family in real life. I prefur to not hang out with other kitties, but I do love it when mom comes out as I meow with her as she pets and holds me. I also like it when she rubs my tummy.

♥ Thank you once again for the votes and visits to me. Even if I don't win, I had fun getting so many visitors.

♥ Carly's {#11000 on DC} still having a bit of diarrhea this morning. If she's still having it come Monday then I will be calling Dr. Liz to let her know. She seems to be feeling ok though and in good spirit.

The temperature was high 84 & low was 55 this morning, now it's 83 with humidity 43% & wind is 11 MPH SW. Friday's suppose to be Mostly Sunny☼ & High 78.

♥ Cat Channel has been & still so slow which makes it hard for us to visit friends. Last night, CC froze up on us. Mom finally quite and signed off.

♥ Mom and dad took our doggie sister CARLY {#11000 on DC} to the vet this morning at 9:15 (PDT) to get a blood sugar reading. The last reading was 140 at 5:00pm on Wednesday and this morning the reading was 481. Carly's feeling so much better and she's pretty much back to her old self!!!! She goes back to the vet next Friday for another blood sugar reading.

♥ Mom took us outside at noon for about 20 minutes then we had to go back in. We got our treats and food. Some of us went out into the cattery for the rest of the day.

♥ Mom received Velvet's 10732 ashes on Tuesday late afternoon in the same kind of Urn tin like Pappoose's 10366. Mom made a picture of Velvet & affixed it to her Urn and added it to Velvet's picture gallery today.
