From Duckies Desk: Well the Thanksgiving Holiday is behind us and the Holiday Season is in full swing! Today is the day that many refer to as “Black Friday”, or the busiest shopping day of the year! This is the day that at one time ushered in the Christmas Season. Can you think of a better place than the Rainbow Bridge to spend Christmas? The night sky is simply beautiful with all the Christmas Lights from our little “home away from home.” We hope everyone had a wonderful “Thanksgiving Feast” as we did on Thursday. Following our time of Thanksgiving we spent the remainder of the evening praying for all our friends and loved ones and all the homeless kitties and doggies! Please pray for Buddy # 22006 who has an infection in his leg and it is painful he is on antibiotics and off work. Elton # 103306 goes to new foster home Saturday. His Mom is sad but knows it is best for him. McFLuff # 60039 is not well. Taffie # 27315 who is having her cataract eye surgery repair on December 10th. has started pre-op drops. Kerry # 100063 is not well. Ripley’s Family # 40921 has a new roof now! On November 22, 2008, a large group of Angels were on hand to welcome a new Angel across the beautiful Rainbow Bridge! Maggie May #88782, had suffered a heart attack and the vet said the only thing that could and should be done for her was to put her to rest and end the pain fur ever. She crossed the “Bridge” to a large welcoming committee. She was walking slowly at first but as she met old friends she quickly made herself at home. She would like for her loved ones back home to know that she is safe and happy and will wait for them at the beautiful Rainbow Bridge!..Crossing Anniversaries Nov. 30-Dec. 6. Crossings: Herbie #41693 12/2/06, Canuck #52906 12/5/04, Mimine #67576 12/5/98, Chubs #29998 12/6/07. Congratulations to last weeks Angel Cat of the Day, Angel John #78412. So glad to hear Sassy is better. Can't wait to see her in her collar! I have been sleeping out on the lanai and in the garage - the weather is a little cooler now and much more comfortable. It is probably getting a little chilly where you live. My mom has been reading a book lately but I don't pay any attention....can't get interested in it, even though I know you read.
