The temperature was high 56 & low was 47 this morning, now it's 55 with humidity 64% & wind is 15 MPH S. Tuesday's suppose to be Rain & High 55.

♥ On our local news (KVAL NEWS) Sunday night they reported a lady was seen throwing two kitties in the Willamette River here in Eugene, Oreon. The kitties was rescued and are doing well. They are looking for forever homes for them. We don't know if the lady was caught or not.
♥ This morning when mom had to go to The Veterinary Hospital to buy Carly's (#11000 DC) canned Prescription Diet w/d, a man brought in a long hair Tortie kitty wrapped in a towel. Mom talked to him and asked what happened. He said someone had her in a box and taped the box closed. The man spent most of last night trying to get her to eat and drink water, but she wouldn't. The Vet Hospital said they couldn't do anything without money or they could euthanize her. Mom left and he came out not long afterwards with the kitty. They probably referred him to S.A.R.A.'S Treasures who also helps kitties.
♥ I followed mom into Kittzi's 160203 & Sylvr Tuff's 160205 room on Sunday like I normally do then mom got here cell phone camera out and got me!!!! She changed my profile photo this afternoon.

HI Hockey family
OK...I'm NOT a KCK, but mom found an article in the news today about Todd Bertuzzi talking about Detroit, The Winter Classic and hockey...mom wanted to share some of the article with some of the hockey kitties...was gonna put it on CMR, but maybe they are not interested...the article is long, but I'll just give you some highlights...most is about the City of Detroit and how the lockout will affect the City as we are hosting the Winter Classic...I guess you wouldn't be interested in hearing abut Detroit....MOL.
RED WINGS HOCKEY--Detroit News, Thursday /27:
Todd Bertuzzi made the best of the NHL lockout WED, but while having his son join an informal Red Wings practise was sweet, Bertuzzi sees only the worstif the lockout lingers.
That goes especially true should the labor dispute that has shattered the league since September cuts into the Winter Classic because that would make a casuality of the Winter Festivals to be staged at Comerica Park starting in mid-December.
"I feel bad for the employees that have to work, the people around the rink, and our fans" Bertuzzi said, "Especially for us here in Detroit, we are trying to get our City back up and moving and all that. Comerica Park was going to be packed for an entire week. I hate to see all of this just go by".
Bertuzzi said he always to to play in an outdoor game like the Winter Classic. Although it would certainly be shifted to the 2013/2014 season should this lockout go on until after january.

ATTENTION ALL MHL HOCKEY PLAYERS!!
This message is only being posted on one or two pages in each family so I can get it out to more kitties! Please pass the word on to the rest of your familiy as needed.
On Friday July 6th, at 7:30 pm EST (4:30 pm PST) we will hold our annual MHL Hockey Awards Ceremony! We will be enjoying an excellent catered meal in the newly completed Catvention Center at the White Squirrel Campground, page #189629. The menu for the evening will be posted on that page before the event. Following the dinner, the Awards Ceremony will commence at about 8 pm EST (5 pm PST) hosted by our very own Commish, Casey! Don't worry if you can't make it early for the meal, food will be served whenever you arrive. We will have live blogging that night for as long as you want or are able to stay.
On Saturday and Sunday we will have a large number of events and activities available for your enjoyment! Take part in our golf an fishing tourneys, water and small sports, individual games, etc. See the Park page for a list of things you can get involved in! If you wish you can blog with your friends at a time you arrange, or just log in to let us know you are there and participate silently. The Squirrel Box Resturant is open 24/7 for any time you are hungry. The menu is posted on the right side of the page.
Lodging is available for your use if you want to spend the whole weekend. Check the page for details. Anything you need is available at the campground! Just check with the staff in the Country Store.
This weekend event is for all MHL players, their families, friends, and pawrents! Bring everyone and have the best time you can have in the great outdoors! We will have special things to do and chaperones and sitters for the little ones, so bring your babies!
If you want, we can live blog again there on Sunday night, the 8th, and take a short break from hockey to just enjoy each other and get caught up on all the mews we have to share.
One final thing: PLEASE DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS PAGE when you are here. We don't want to interfere with any catpaign or special day that is on the calender!

♥Congratulations On Your COTD!!♥
Mom was doing some Christmas Shopping today. Sally and me stayed at home giving Grandma lots of purrs therapy because she wasn´t feeling very well.
My parents will be traveling to Mar Del Plata next Wednesday to visit Mom´s family there. Here in Argentina, we celebrate Virgin Mary´s Day on 8th December and it´s a national holiday for us. Everybody will be off work on the 08th and 9th.
Mom and Dad thought it will be nice to have a couple of days to relax by the sea. We will be staying with our Grandma.
People set up their Christmas trees on 8th December here in our country. Mom said we will have a small tree this year and that she will put it up somewhere where Sally can´t reach it. (MOL!!)
She loves playing with the ornaments. I really can´t blame her because they´re always colorful and brilliant and I also like them quite a lot. (Tee-hee!!)
