Hi Friends
So great to hear that each of you found your perfect permanent home as well. Aren’t foster homes just the best invention ever? They give us the love and safety to bring out the best parts of our unique personalities. And they give us the care to get healthy and look our best, so that we can find the best possible permanent homes. ~ I’m still on antibiotics till Sunday for a chronic sinus infection that I now finally lost and then I’ll move in with my new human dad. It’ll be just him and me, but the best part is that he’s a contractor and works from home (so I will be able to keep him company most of the days) and my foster mom promised to keep me in touch with you, if you like. (My foster mom sees my new dad occasionally at work.) I hope that will work, especially as Mia was lucky enough to stay permanently with your foster mom. Please ask her to write me from time to time. Hi Friends
Just pawing by to see how you are doing. Haven’t heard from you, so I thought you might have already been adopted. ~ I found the purrfect place, with the purrfect owner on Sunday. He came, even while the streets where all icy, he had to park on the street and walk the long forest gravel road to my current place. He played with me and scratched me behind my ears and on my back. He was very gentle and nice. I liked that very much, settled on his lap and purred. He said: "Well, I think, I'm adopted." - meaning that I had adopted him (tee, hee). Yes, I guess I had. He also said that he will pick me up in a week and a half. Till then the cat that he is currently babysitting will be gone home and he will have bought me new stuff like a litter box, bowls, toys and - you won't believe this - a brand new cat climbing tree/scratch post, with several tiers and a box where I can lay in or on top of. And he said that he will place that cat tree in front of a window so that I can see the birdies and get a lot of sun, and he also has a balcony where I can go to get a bit of fresh air when it is warm enough outside. He also promised that he will keep buying me the food that I'm used to and I'll keep the same vet. That means he will keep taking me to the vet for checkups. Not that I like those, but it means that I will live many many years and be healthy and enjoy my new home and my new daddy. Meow!! I think this was the first time that I have called him daddy! By the way, he mentioned that he likes my bright clear eyes and markings of my fur. Isn't that wonderful? ~~ Hugs, purrs and a vote - ClaireCome visit me, Claire & Zoe.
