A Word With Whiskers – May 15

A Cat Heaven -

One day a cat dies of natural causes and goes to Heaven. There he meets the Lord himself. The Lord says to the cat, "You lived a good life and if there is any way I can make your stay in Heaven more comfortable, please let Me know."
The cat thinks for a moment and says, "Lord, all my life I have lived with a poor family and had to sleep on a hard wooden floor." The Lord stops the cat and says, "Say no more," and a wonderful fluffy pillow appears.
A few days later six mice are killed in a tragic farming accident and go to Heaven. Again the Lord is there to greet them with the same offer. The mice answer, "All of our lives we have been chased. We have had to run from cats, dogs, and even women with brooms. Running, running, running; we're tired of running. Do you think we could have roller skates so we don't have to run anymore?" The Lord says, "Say no more," and fits each mouse with beautiful new roller skates.
About a week later the Lord stops by to see the cat and finds him in a deep sleep on the pillow. The Lord gently wakes the cat and asks him, "How are things since you arrived?"
The cat stretches and yawns and replies, "It is wonderful here. Better than I could have ever expected. And those Meals on Wheels you've been sending by are theeeeeeee best!!!"
The Cat Scan –

A man runs into the vet's office carrying his dog, screaming for help. The vet rushes him back to an examination room and has him put his dog down on the examination table. The vet examines the still, limp body and after a few moments, tells the man that his dog, regrettably, is dead. The man, clearly agitated and not willing to accept this, demands a second opinion.
The vet goes into the back room and comes out with a cat and puts the cat down next to the dog's body. The cat sniffs the body, walks from head to tail, poking and sniffing the dog's body and finally looks at the vet and meows.
The vet looks at the man and says, "I'm sorry, but the cat thinks that your dog is dead, too."
The man, finally resigned to the diagnosis, thanks the vet and asks how much he owes. The vet answers, "$350."
"$350 to tell me my dog is dead?!" exclaims the man.
"Well," the vet replies, "I would only have charged you $50 for my initial diagnosis. The additional $300 was for the cat scan."

Kittzi started using the top of the lid to our potty box as her bed to sleep on. Mom told her she's such a silly girl! MOL!
We probably won't be on CC Tuesday morning as she has to go clean Bud's house that she does once a month.
For the next several months we may not be on too often as mom and dad will be xtra busy. We will try to get on when we can!

My Dear Fur Friend ♥ Sissee....
Happy adoptiversary for you, sweet girl!
We´re sorry to read little Princess crossed to the Rainbow Bridge being so young. When Mom was a teenager, she had a kitty named Kamilla who had a litte of kittens. By that time she also had two small doggies, they were friendly and playful and they got along well with Kamilla. One day, one of the kittens got out and ran inside one of the doghouses, the dog wanted to play with the kitten and hurt him badly. He crossed to the Rainbow Bridge two days after. It was too late when Mom saw him. This kitty was the brother of Angel Blackie´s Momma.
It´s raining outside but it´s not very cold. I´m watching through the window while Mom writes my kitty letters. The cars pass by with their lights over the avenue and people walks with their umbrellas. We tried to blog yesterday but CC was super slow.
Dad gave my Mom a new BlackBerry cell phone a couple of days ago and she´s been chasing us with its camera! She loves taking pictures of us. MOL! Mom tells not to close my eyes when she´s about to take a photo of me. Tee-hee!
Last night she caught me yawning in my kitty bed; I meowed at her to let her know a lady must be ready for a photo!
We´re waiting for Grandma to come back from work and have supper together. We´ll be helping Mom to cook in a little while.

Yes, the word is out, and we've come to help you celebrate your big day in style with bright balloons bobbing from our saddlebags and two flags flying from each bike for honorary members Angel Doodlebug and Angel Yum Yum.
The helmets come off and reveal Zoe Monique, Thunderfoot, Q. Lola, Ammie, Cyndee, Dasher, Talley, Kali, Elvis and Mallow. From their saddlebags they produce a big Tupperware container full of Road Toad a la Mode, fresh from the Road Kill Cafe in Seligman Arizona, you lucky kitties!
☆ HAPPY ADOPTIVERSARY SISSEE!! ☆ Then the Hairballz stop to admire the picture of cute little babies Rhoamin, Suezee and Sissee with their little sister Princess.
