How We Met

When I was around 7 I had a cat named Friskey. He was very very mean to everyone but me. He would scratch and bite anyone who would try to do anything with him, except me. he was my baby. When I was 17 I went to stay out of town and my mom said that the vet was coming to pull a tooth from his mouth that was causing him pain. She called me later that day and said that he had tumors in his mouth and they put him to sleep. I was devastated and I went to the store to get dinner supplies with my boyfriends mom to in her words "try to get my mind off of it." the cashier knew us by now and asked what was wrong. I told her, and she told me her cat just had kittens. I didnt want to replace him, but it seemed like a sign. I went over and brought home two female kittens. One of them was sick and we gave it to someone better capable of taking care of her. I kept the other (minxi was her name) and around a year later she escaped out a window, she came back a couple hours later... and she was pregnant. She had four kittens. I was told to give all away. One to my aunt, one to a friend, one to a farmer, and one to my then current boyfriend whom I eventually "lived" with. After we split, I got the kitty, and I'll never let him go. I cut his cord... his mom already had another kitten out and was stepping on him.. after a couple minutes I had to cut it myself. believe it or not, he was and still is the runt.. the small one...
