101 ~*~WHAT A SURPRISE!!!~*~
The temperature was high 86 & low was about 47 this morning, now it's 84 feels like 83 with humidity 33% & wind is 6 MPH. Friday's suppose to be Sunny & 82.
WOW, Me again!!!... PAPPOOSE 10366!!!
We did not go outside at all today cuz dad had to go out of town for the day with his nephew and brother-in-law.
WooHoo!!! Looky, looky at what I got!!! When we signed on CC there was points added for Cat Rescue of the Day and it had to be non other than ME since I've been doing the visiting. This is just way too xciting!!! Thank you my furriends for this pretty new Badge of mine as there's no way I could have gotten it without your visits and votes.
I started sneezing yesterday so mom told dad that all windows will be closed at night while we all are sleeping so as no cool air comes on me to make me worse. I still have some sneezes today but I feel ok.
Ebbonny 10703 was doing a lot of really loud meowing last night and pacing. Mom offered him food as he acted like he wanted some but nope, not that so she petted and loved him. It was a brief ok so then she told dad to take care of his son so he did what mom did and he was ok with that for a bit. He finally quieted down after awhile. Today he has been resting more peacefully.
Mom seen something out of the corner of her eye yesterday running outside and it was little. "What??? A Mousey???" mom said. She went out to invetigate it and called for NeuBee 123633 and Sylvester 11567 to come do their job, but it was only in the afternoon and they were asleep. Dad said it's probably from the wood pile he's been cutting up which is also where NeuBee and Sylvester hung out at alot.

Here is your favorite drink so you can sit and read your Knightly Mews. WOW!!!! Three nights in a row with no raccoons coming around. Do you think that they figured they just can't win with that mean lady (our sweet mom) chasing them off all the time???? Tehehehe!!!! ~*~ Our new neighbors are really nice. They come over asking to borrow something about several times a week but they bring something good in return. The only bad thing is that when they knock on the door, Carly barks her fool head off and then we all scatter. ~:~ All the outside kitties were snuggled in their beds on the patio by 9:00 this morning including NeuBee. She has become a permant addition to the beds on the patio. NeuBee had to put the chase on Suezee 11528 and then on Sylvester 11567 til Sylvester finally stood his ground and told her enough is enough so she backed off. ~*~ Mom cleaned the 6 ft by 6 ft potty box outside today and then she will clean the small one on the patio tomorrow. We were thinking about you today and wanted to stop by and say hi!! Our weather is at about 40 today, with the sunshining and the snow melting! Mom even has the window in the bedroom open to get some of that fresh air in here. She's a smoker(trying to quit again) and it's been so cold she's been smoking inside instead of out on the balcony. So, the fresh air smells great. And we love to get up in the window and sniff at it. Izzie was up on her hind legs pawing at the screen. She really loves it. I like it too, but it's harder for me to jump up there, since the windows are really high up. Mom set me up there so I could enjoy it too!

VOTE BOO BOO 109200 COTD SATURDAY FEBRUARY 7TH
Most mornings in a house in Cedar Rapids, IA: Boo Boo's Mom hears a plop and a yowl, That is Boo Boo dropping a toy in front of her Mom's bed as if to say "time to play"! Boo Boo wasn't always so happy and playful. Her first family replaced her with a human baby and she ended up in a Pet Smart sad and lonely for 6 months. She had just started not eating, when her new Mom came in and gave her a fresh start in life by taking her home! Well she is eating fine now and is far from lonely with a wonderful brother named Bug. She loves cheese and yogurt, and is a big fan of tummy rubs and chin scratches. She can normally be found on the windowsill probably planning her next heist of the family jewels!. She already has made off with her human brother's car keys making him late for work. Won't you stop and vote for this little "cat burglar on Saturday so she can get her CoTD badge on Sunday. How are you today? Warm snuggly I hope! We go out in the winter too but we don't have all the snow to contend with either! We don't stay long though b/c we get cold! It snowed here a few wks ago and mom let us out b/c we haven't ever seen snow. We liked it but not for long. That stuff is cold! I'm glad you stopped by to visit! I love making new friends too! Hi Kittles, our mom's back hurts when it's cold out too. She hurt her back about 10 years ago when she was still working in the factory, now she has Fibromyalgia to go along with it! But over all, she does ok, she's a pretty tough cookie!!! She needs to be, especially when we get under her feet when she tries to walk.
We used to go outside and play in the front yard when we still lived with our daddy. But now that mom lives in an apartment complex it's not easy to take us outside. We only have a tiny balcony on the second floor, and mom's scared that Izzie, being not very graceful, would fall off, so we don't go out now. It makes us sad, we used to love to go out and play in the flower beds and in the grass. We like to chew on a plant that daddy had in the flower bed called Spiderwart. It was tasty, and apparently had no ill effects on us. We had already chewed on it before mom noticed because she was chasing Molly around the back of the house when she ran off. Molly is very sneaky like that, then likes to play keep away. So, after she noticed that it didn't make us sick, we were allowed to chew on it every time we went out, it was yummy!!
We miss daddy and daddys house sometimes. But we did get to see him last Friday, he came over and visited with us for about an hour, it was so nice!!!

Hello There!
I used to eat Sheba, but I stopped liking it for some reason and Mom was happy about that when the price went sky high. Tonight is Mom's favortie night for tv so we are having an early dinner, and getting cozy on the couch and watch us some Lost. Have aa really good night!!! Our mommy was married to an abusive man about 20 years ago, so she knows what your mom went through. Tell her congrats on finding someone good!! We're sure they are out there, mom just never seems to find them. Lol
Just to let you know, blog often, and pay visits and vote for COTD and then follow up with a congrats to the ones who one, and you should have no problem with getting COTD on May 11th. Just stay active, meet new kitties, and blog a lot and it will all count towards a successful COTD catpaign!!

Hi Kittles!
We got lucky here and din't get any of that yucky snow. We are just far enough away from the lake thank goodness. It is really cold though and Mom has been on the hot cocoa all day. I eat everyday at 4 o'clock and today Mom was shocked when she passed by my bowl at 4:30 and my Fancy Feast was just about gone already. I must have been really hungry today.
