Hello Everyone!
First let me apologize for the extreme tardiness of my thank you notes for me to be COTM for the month of February. Please know that I never intended my note to be this late. January was an awesome month for me and I met many new friends. I know that there were many people that worked hard to campaign for me, and I truly appreciate each and everyone of you. As most of you know, mom is a graduate student. Her school is not like normal colleges in that she only has 6 weeks to learn material that would generally take 12 weeks. At the end of January, mom started a new 6 week session at school. Mom had at least two projects and papers due each week during the session and both of her breaks were used for Field Work. But between that and CC being so incredibly slow, mom simply could not get the blogs out that she needed to. Mom finished that session a few weeks ago and is now in the middle of the next one. Again, there are many things due at once. I am proud to say that mom got A’s this last session! So with work and school, there has been little time for anything else. Sometimes there is only time to write one or two blogs per day. If we don’t get to you, it is not for any other reason except that we just ran out of time. We think about each and everyone of our friends every day. Again, please know that I truly appreciate the honor of being COTM, and thanks to all whom voted for me Purrs, CleoCome visit me, Cleopatra and Jelly Forever, Sebastian & Shadows Memorial.

Thanks for stopping by, been awhile for us too, since we had our last visit. So you're in for a "lion" cut huh? Well our big brother Max,he had gotten one and looked really different, but I think he enjoyed it. Cool, easy to groom, even made him alittle extra frisky at 18yrs. young. We still miss him lots. Oh my goodness, but it's good to hear from you Nappy! I was very excited when I saw a blog from you! Momcat kept telling me that you and Daggs were most likely very well, and that your Momcat was probably VERY busy. I just don't understand the big people! Don't they realize that these blogs are our most important thing (after food, sleep, play, lying in the sun, food, oh, I said that...) and require frequent attention? Anyway, I'm just very happy to hear from you, and you have new pictures too! They're wonderful! Now I'll have to visit Daggs to see if he has new ones too. I'll have new pictures soon! Momcat got herself a digital camera (FINALLY) and has been taking new pictures of all of us, but she hasn't put any of them in her computer yet. She hasn't read that far in the manual yet. Stupid Momcat! She should know those things! I can't wait to see you in your Lion cut! I bet you're one cool dude in more ways than temperature! Hi Guy! It's Wicca, Thistle, Patchouli & Snorky Bob meowing to you! We've been a little out of touch lately because Momcat's life got a little complicated for a while! Things aren't nearly as chaotic so we thought we'd drop you a quick note, and a little buggy snack to say hi! How did the babysitting (kittysitting) go when Ginger Spicegirl's Momcat looked after you two while yours was away? Did she spoil you rotten? Were you nice to her? Did you make your Momcat feel guilty for leaving you when she got back? (We always plan on doing that, but when Momcat gets home we're so glad to see her that it's a regular purr-fest and all plans for ignoring her fly out the window!!) Is it hot down there in GA? Our snow is all gone and the ground is beginning to thaw. Momcat's tulips and daffodils are sprouting and flocks of Canada Geese are honking their way north, a sure sign of spring! Oh, yeah, and Momcat is reading seed catalogues all day! We love your new pictures! Momcat is slowly updating ours. Thistle and Wicca have some new ones, so be sure to check them out! Thank you for the Birthday wishes. We went to the vet yesterday and it didn't go well at all.The V-E-T appointment was horrible! we were terrible! We even had a kitty war in the carrier!! When sissy tried to break it up, Kinser escaped the carrier and sat on the gas peddle of the truck!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!! Kinser is doing great with his weight loss he needs to loose 2 and 1/2 pounds yet. But he has lost a total of 4 and 1/2 pounds this past year, we were excited about that .I am making mom so sad today. I am scared and won't come out from under the bed. My body is so sore and I won't eat my kibble. Kinser tried to make me feel better by giving me my evening bath but I bit him on his leg, in turn, he hit me in the face. What am I going to do? You pal Patchouli here! I hope Dagger isn't being too much of a pest! I know how it feels! My sister Thistle told Dagger about our big party on Sunday. Make sure he gives you the details! That was awful nice of your Momma and Ginger's too, to take water to the poor animals at the shelter! Few people think of the animals at times of crisis. Momcat thinks that a lot of homeless kitties have enough instinct to go someplace safe in big storms, although a tornado is hard to be instinctual about. Momcat always feels so helpless when there's bad weather because she knows there are homeless little ones out there! More big people should be like our Moms!
