Today, the day before Memorial Day '09, we have a very special and suitable COTD candidate by the name of JoJo Kitty! JoJo was found at the same adoption rescue that his brother, Mr. Mooch came from, and not only that, he was in the exact same cage! It was his Mom's birthday and JoJo became her son. You could definitely say JoJo's adoption was meant to be! JoJo is a survivor...his Mom found out a little while after he was adopted that he had been abandoned in an apartment and had survived for two weeks after his previous family had moved. It breaks our heart that someone would abandon this dashing grey longhaired boy with so much love to give. But, JoJo's kind mom has indeed given him a new start in life. She has reassured him that he does not need to worry anymore about necessities such as food, water, & care, and of course...the biggest necessity, love-she has all those things, especially love, in abundance for him!
JoJo has a few cute quirks which include: meowing before he pukes (hey, he's just issuing a warning to his Mom!) and relaxing on top of the microwave! Maybe he waits for his wet food to be warmed up when it has been in the fridge, when he sits on top the microwave!
Why is JoJo the absolute purrfect COTD candidate for today? We'll let him tell you: "With your help, I have a chance to be COTD on Memorial Day!
