How We Met
I found JoJo at the same adoption rescue that Mr. Mooch came from! He was even in the same cage! It was my Birthday and he became my son. Mom found out later, after I was adopted, that I had been abandoned in an apartment and had survived for two weeks after my family moved. I was very thirsty and hungry, and I think I am still hungry because something inside me keeps telling me I have to eat because there may not be more food tomorrow! Mommie keeps telling me that I am staying furever, and not to worry anymore about anything. She said she will handle all the problems and that I will never be left alone again. I AM SOOO HAPPY! I JUST FOUND OUT MY BIRTHDAY IS FEB. 6, 2006! YAY!!!!!! NOW I CAN CELEBRATE MY REAL BIRTHDAY LIKE MY SIBLINGS DO!~~~~~WITH YOUR HELP, I HAVE A CHANCE TO BE COTD ON MEMORIAL DAY THIS YEAR! I AM DEDICATING MY WIN TO MY MOM WHO IS A VIETNAM VET, AND A PERSON THAT REALLY VALUES THIS DAY EVERY YEAR! WHAT A PURRFECT DAY FOR ME TO BE COTD! The rumble of 8 Harleys can be heard as the
Hairballz Rainbow Riders approach JoJo’s house. Each bike has two flags representing their honorary members, Doodlebug and Yum Yum.
Cyndee, Dasher, Q. Lola, Mallow, Talley, Thundie, Zoe Monique and Ammie park their bikes, take off their helmets, gather their goodies, and pounce up to the door.
They ring the doorbell and when JoJo opens the door, they all shout Happy Birthday! The Gang has brought you some presents to celebrate your special day…a basket full of salmon muffins with tuna butter, a fling-ama-string toy, a catnip mousey, and a platter of Denta Bites and Hairball Control Treats for your celebration.
The Hairballz Rainbow Gang warm up their voices and start to meow….

A low rumble…
… is heard off in the distance getting closer and closer. Jo Jo lifts his head and perks his ears toward the noise. Jo Jo has been concerned about his Mom who has not been feeling well lately and had to have some surgery. Jo Jo is lying next to his Mom giving her lots of purr therapy. At first Jo Jo thinks he is dreaming. He looks outside to see 11 Harley Davidson motorcycles pull into the driveway. Zoe Monique, Cyndee, Kuzi, Kiska, Vika, Thundie, Lola, Mallow, Ammie, Talley and Dasher park their machines and quietly walk to Jo Jo’s front door. Jo Jo opens the door and the Hairballz Rainbow Riders walk in. “We hear your Mom has not been feeling well and we’d like to drop off some warm soup and a soft blanket to help make her feel better.” Jo Jo points to where his Mom is resting after her surgery. The Hairballz Riders bring in the goodies and softly whisper gentle healing purrs to Jo Jo’s Mom. They bundle her in the soft blanket and dish out the warm soup. Jo Jo’s Mom seems to cheer up a little with this visit.
The Hairballz Riders meow to Jo Jo “We hope your Mom feels better soon”. Then they quietly get back on their motorcycles and glide down the road.

I'm just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I hope your Mom has finally started to take it easy and stop over working herself. She needs to rest and give her back and neck a break. That dog poop isn't going anywhere. Right? Tell her that her health is more important than that poop! We just want her to get better.
We are very sorry to hear that your human brother has to have a double transplant. We know your Mom is very worried. We will continue to send him lots of prayers and ask that he be surrounded by bright white light and rainbow colors of light and that he take from that which serves him well.
I miss you and I think of you every day. I'm still your girl and always will be!
