I just can’t thank all of my CC furiends, both old (relatively speaking) and new, for giving me this honor. I love my shiny new badge and will wear it with pride, always. Considering that I started my life as part of a homeless litter, I am amazed at the loving home I found, and all the furiends I have met here on CC. I have to be the luckiest kitten in the whole world. When I think about how my life could have been if it wasn’t for Mom’s niece, I know just how truly blessed I am.

What happens to a little brown striped tabby girl kitten when her family can no longer keep her? Well, lots of things can happen, and not all of them are good. But sweet little Pucca (Pooka), with her beautiful, loving eyes was fortunate to meet a family and captured their hearts! Puqui-Pu (pronounced Pookie Poo) as she's affectionately known, looked at her family and melted their hearts! Her wonderful personality shines through those large expressive eyes! Now she spends her days sleeping in her Dad's bed and being thoroughly spoiled by both Mom and Dad! It's no more than this extra sweet kitty deserves! Will you please go by Pucca's page #132267 on Sunday and leave her a vote. Her family in Buenos Aires would love to see her win a COTD badge for her birthday on Monday 11/09!

A very young Reddie, estimated at the time to be about 3 months old, was apparently dumped outside this building WAAAAAYYYY WAY out in the countryside. In any case, the normally locked BYA door into the truck yard was open for about 3 weeks while the doors & yard were being serviced. In the middle of all this, Reddie showed up and just hung around amazon.com. The AZ clowder’s Mom heard about a stray at the back door and went to take a look at him. Reddie was just so friendly, she decided to try to rescue him. Someone else that worked there tried to get Reddie to go with her but he held out for the clowder’s Mom! She drove the 30 minutes out to the countryside and meowed at Reddie twice. He came to her and had a bite to eat and a bit of water. His new Mom scooped him up, plopped him in a carrier and drove him home to meet the family! Reddie was a bit upset in the carrier until he discovered his Mom had dropped some food in there for the ride. When the clowder Dad saw Reddie, instead of “Who we gonna find to take him?” it was “What we gonna name him?!” And thus Reddie came home to the special clowder family with lots of kits to play with. Reddie just loves Stubbie, the 16 year old senior fella of the household, & is hoping Stubbie will let young Reddie nap with him! The entire SunClowder family of Stubbie, Goldie Gal, Little Missy, Baby, Madame Houdini, Bootsie, and Miss’stachee thank all the kind CC cats for the healing prayers for Stubbie and your condolences on the recent passing of his MamaCat Girlie. Stubbie has eaten a bit & hanging in there, certainly comforted by the entire clowder including young REDDIE #147662! Young Reddie, who loves to EAT, has a special message for all ~ “Save a life. ADOPT!”

COTD!!!!! Wow, I am so suprised, I can't believe it!!!! One of Meowmy's friends e-mailed her and said she better get on CC and look at COTD, we were both shocked!!!!!! I am so honored you all voted for me and that I got a shiny new badge, I can't thank you all enough, and thanks for all the wonderful gifts and great food, MOL, we will be eating like Kings and Queens here for awhile, very yummy stuff!!!!!!
