What I love about my owners: She loves me and helps me teach others not to do what was done to me. She calls me her little "fuzzy buddy" and kisses me a lot.
My cat hobbies: sleep and play with the other cats
Pet motto: Namaste. Namaste is a humble and respectful Sanskrit (Indian) greeting/partin- g straight from the heart recognizing the equality and sacredness of all. It is said with the paws (or palms) together before the heart and bowing slightly. Roughly translated it means 'The Divine in me recognizes and bows (or honors) the Divine in you.'

How We Met
I was volunteering at a local animal shelter when this little 3 week old kitten was brought in after having been badly abused by some children. The abuse broke his back and resulted in paralysis and no bowel / bladder control. He was covered in fleas and had an abcess on his butt. The shelter kept him until he was ~ 12 weeks old. They healed his abcess, and because of his incontinence was bathed 2 x/day. They put a cut down litter box in his cage in hopes that he would use it. If he couldn't use it he would have been deemed unadoptable and euthanized. I fostered him and then adopted him because he was not able to use a litter box. He enjoyed rooting around in the litter, but couldn't use it. He had no bladder or bowel control. I had owned a dachsund in the past that ruptured a disc and was paralyzed. The vet taught me how to take care of him, so I knew I could express Thomas' bowels and bladder, and take care of him. The rest is history. I see him as an ambassador for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals.

From the cloud desk of Angel Sherman….Please vote ACOTD for ANGEL CRASH #248838! This sweet kitty joined the angels in February 2013 after losing his battle with complications that developed after being hit by a car the month before. He’d survived having both legs broken & surgery, but was unable to walk & had to drag himself to the litterbox. He was very brave & stayed a very sweet boy during all of the pain, infections, examinations & becoming a foster; but the angels knew that his life would not be a full one with his disabilities & thus called him home. Please pounce by to paw ANGEL CRASH #248838 a vote today so that his foster mom will have a fond memory to cherish & so that this sweet angel can earn the honor of making his star the most brilliant in the night sky tomorrow night.
Congratulations to our newest royal cat QUEEN SPUNKY #161265!! Your campaign about the details of cat shows was stupendous & we learned a lot about how things work for the fabulous show cats. We’re looking forward to some California sunshine during May as you reign from your house on the beach & look forward to hearing more letters to God from beloved pets. Have a great time as our new queen & thank you for an enchanting campaign month.

Please paw by & meet this beautiful Champagne Point Tonkinese kitty. KAYLIN #251700 is not just a beautiful face she is also a CFA Champion & a Mom. She was hand picked for her new parents by her sister Wendy's breeder when she found out how sick Wendy was. But this sweet girl was already a mom so her new parents had to wait to bring her home. All of her kitties found their furever homes & then she had her Big Girl surgery. She was finally able to come to her new home in January. She wasn't sure if she wanted to stay at first, but her new parents gave her lots of love & support so we are happy to report she is settling in quite nicely. KAYLIN #215700 spends her days hanging out on Mom & Dads laps, playing with her toys, & napping in the sun. She also likes to tear through the apartment at top speed and has been known to do it in the middle of the night too. Her most favorite things to eat are the Roast Chicken, that she shares with her parents, and her Blue food. Vote COTD 4/29 COLT, WINCHESTER & KIMBER #251320
This week’s special recognition candidates were found on the side of a road near a wooded area when they were barely old enough to fend for themselves. Their guardian angel was working hard that day & led their new mom to the right spot where she picked up the three mewing furballs & took them home. These precious sibs have stolen the hearts of many CC members by mom’s picture postings on FB & it’s pawsome being able to watch them grow up here in our loving community. Colt and Winchester love to talk to calm Kimber down because she’s very shy, unlike her more outgoing sibs. They love to play with their mouse toys & frequently pick on their bigger sibs throughout the day to see how much they can get away with. You can often find this rambunctious trio of young felines looking out of the window talking to birds, or playing with their light up ball. They’re snugglers too! They’re often found in the lap of mom or grandpa or you can see them snuggling happily together in their kitty bed. The inseparable trio of COLT,WINCHESTER & KIMBER#251320, are also keeping the house hopping with their energy level so let’s help them bounce off the walls a little more by pouncing by to paw them a COTD vote today, Monday April 29th, so they can earn their very first badge of honor tomorrow!

WOW…what a surprise for mom to wake up & see our doggie as the DOTD runner for today! If you have a DC profile please paw her a vote & give her a big purr of thanks for working her paws to the bone last month during my catpaign. She spread the word with a happy wag of her tail & lots of slobbery kisses & I really appreciated all the added votes from our sweet doggie pals! She’s definitely deserving of her 2nd badge now that she’s all grown up (she got her first one shortly after joining DC) so I’m happily tooting a horn on her behalf today!
Thank you for pouncing by with your support of me this month! Can you believe the last full week of my reign is already here? I’ve been having so much fun with all of you at the Imperial Cabin this month & it’s great to see the tulips & other spring flowers blooming outside of it. I’ve still got some heroic & unusual CC furiends to tell you about though so hold on tight because my spinning isn’t over yet…MOL! Today I’m featuring a very special kitty in our community that many of you know so grab a plate full of scrumptious flavored muffins & catnip coffee prepared by our head chef Patches & aide-de-camp Angel Gracie & I’ll get started meowing about THOMAS #127574!

Patter (249085) is a beautiful 6 year old tabby, who enjoys her outside time, ( She is quite the hunter) and loves playing with the catnip toys that her mom gets for her. Her boyfriend, Hedley tells us that she has a great sense of humor and is lots of fun.

Cassandra is a princess around her home. She is pampered and loves attention especially from her human daddy. Cassandra #205806 is dainty and little, weighing in at only six pounds and is the twin to her brother Montgomery George Brown. They were lucky kitties and both were adopted together into their forever home. When the mood strikes her, Cassandra #205806 can hide in the smallest of places and will close the cupboard door behind her leaving it almost impossible to locate her. Cassandra likes hamburgers from Burger King, cheese and hot dogs. She hates being interrupted from her naps and being ignored by her daddy. The Tales of Queen Trixie
Happy Tuesday & thanks for stopping by the Imperial Cabin! Okay kitties…today we’re touring my home state a little bit & taking a trip to Michigan City, IN to see the OLD LIGHTHOUSE MUSEUM! At the bend of Trail Creek in the Michigan City harbor stands an historic old structure whose beacon served as a guiding light for Great Lakes sailors for more than 100 years. Michigan City's well-lighted port has a long and interesting history, bound to Lake Michigan with all its mysteries and beauties. Michigan City's first light was a simple "postlight"( lantern on a tall pole) located approximately 100 feet west of the present lighthouse. In 1837, Jeremy Hixon, Sr. and his son were contracted by the U.S. Government to build a permanent lighthouse in Michigan City. That structure consisted of a keeper's dwelling with a 40 foot high whitewashed tower topped with a lantern to house the light. As shipping in Michigan City increased, primarily grain and lumber, a brighter light was needed to guide ships into the busy port. In 1858, the U.S. Government constructed a lighthouse using Joliet stone for the foundation and Milwaukee or "Cream City" bricks for the superstructure. On November 20, 1871, the first beacon light was installed on the east pier. (http://www.oldlighthousemuseum.org)
The Old Lighthouse Museum opened officially on June 9, 1973 & has guided tours Tues-Sun from 1-4pm so that’s where we’re going today kitties! I’d originally planned to meow to you about another of our CC furiends while we’re traveling on the Cyclone Express bus today but I’ll do that on Thursday instead since this article about my home state caught my eye this morning.
~Dachshund Adopts Abandoned Kittens~
In a story originally shared by Fox 59 in Indianapolis, four kittens were born on the front porch of a local couple, right before an early spring blizzard brought more than nine inches of snow to the area. The couple found the kittens alone and brought them inside to care for them. Little did they know it would be their Dachshund, JOJO, who would do much of the caretaking! The dog immediately took over mothering duties, including producing milk to nurse the kittens. The couple told Fox 59 that JoJo “acts as if she birthed them herself.” The kittens, who are all boys, are named Poseidon, Hephaestus, Pan and Zephyr, also known as the “blizzard kittens.” They’ll be available for adoption when they’re old enough.
Now that’s another true awww moment! They have their own FB page but for those that don’t go there I’ve also posted pics in my gallery so you can also get that warm fuzzy feeling from seeing this pawtastic doggie with her ‘kitty pups’. This family gets the Calico award of excellence for cuteness!

Mom will be busy over the next couple of days as she will be working double shift at the Hospital. I would like to hiss to her boss, since I don´t like when she comes home late. MOL!!
I´m now making sure she helps me to write my kitty letters because I know she will not have much free time left later.
It was pretty cold this morning when we woke up. Mr.Sun was shining but it was windy. Sally and me were napping until late and then Mom gave us some tuna treats she bought on her way back from work. They were yummy.
Mom´s Grandma is staying home with us during this month and that means we are never alone. In fact, we have Grandma and Great Grandma to spoil us 24 hours a day. Tee-hee!! I like curling up over Great Grandma´s lap while she seats and watches TV. She rubs my ears and I purr.

'stuff' has been happening around here! So much,that I am way behind on my blogs! First,thanks on the well wishes for mom's mother...she is now out of rehab as of this past Wednesday,and at home. Then mom spent a lot of time deleting pages and making mew ones...the woman just can't make up her mind! Changes were also made in the cat enclosure! Dad shut off the down stairs part so he could plant some grass in it,but the boys are NOT happy about it! Brother Dixion is no longer confined to the enclosure,as he was so unhappy,he was getting very depressed and aggressive to the others,so mom let him out. Andy(inside boy) kept dashing out the door so much that mom let him GO!,because she feared he would trip her or dad up trying to escape! Now,we live out in the country,and WAY off the road,otherwise mom would never have let them out. Second,mom has an appointment with an orthopedic doc,as it seems she might have a torn meniscus in her right knee. She has had that surgery on the left,so knows the drill! ~Queen Trixie's Tantalizing Animal Tales~April 6th
Wake up sweet kitties because the sun is coming up & Zaboo has the bus warmed up for everyone since it’s still rather chilly here in the woods. It’s supposed to warm up to the mid-60s today with some windy conditions, but hopefully we’ll be able to shed our jackets as we head south toward the center of my home state to visit the smaller than you’re used to, yet very nice & extremely friendly, INDIANAPOLIS CHILDRENS’ ZOO! (http://www.indyzoo.com) I was going to take you to the Ft. Wayne zoo since it’s closer to my cabin but found out their official opening day isn’t until the 20th. You’d think that getting a request from a queen would prompt them to open early but no such luck! Hmmm…guess they don’t take orders well from animals…MOL! Well off we go kitties!! Anyone not awake in time to catch the bus will be stuck gathering firewood for our bonfire tonight so you’d better get your paws pouncing because Zaboo is revving the engine & is ready to go! Don’t forget to paw SPUNKY #161265 her daily vote before we go so that she can wear her own crown next month as our May queen!

VOTE WINDY POINT ANGELS # 237234 COTD 4/5
As many of you know, 17 year old Minnie D Purrl crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday 4/2. Minnie was a member of a wonderful family of cats known as the Windy Point Gang.
We’re choosing to copy Dad Mike’s exact words that he used to tell us she had crossed--
“She was losing her battle with Hyperthyroidism and her quality of life had decreased dramatically over the last five days. This afternoon Minnie was assisted by our vet, Dr Madsen and myself on her journey. She was 17 years old when she passed.
It is particularly sad for me because Minnie had given me a litter of seven Easter Kitties when she was only 9 months old. I always celebrated Mother's Day with her on Easter. (Sigh...) This year we celebrated with some baby food that I held for her since she was too weak to stand and eat.
Minnie leaves behind her boyfriend Tiger Mann, who is the last of the original Windy Pointers...and of course, her sad Dad.”
Minnie is now a member of the Windy Point Angels #237234, those members of the Windy Point Gang who are now Angels at the Rainbow Bridge. We learned that this special group of Angels has never received their COTD badge, and we want to change that by making them our COTD winner on 4/6. Happy Thursday!
Just want you to know how much we miss regular visits with our friends. We are well and the temp is finally getting into the 40s, so snow is slowly melting away. Mom is doing our laundry today and is washing the fleece throws for Zeus's carrier and adoption show cage. Yes, he does have to go Saturday. Mom doesn't feel up to taking a new foster and that way any of his bills are paid by the rescue. Eventually I do think she will adopt him herself, if the right person doesn't come along in awhile longer, and if they do, it will really be the right person, not just anyone. He still is full of kitten mischief, even at about a 1 1/2 yr. He is also very loving and outgoing to visitors to our home. He just gets very scared with strangers at the adoption shows.

i feel the presence of angels as i walk among my friends for each one serves a purpose and on the we do depend. they console and encourage us when trouble seems to unfold. their strengh helps to carry us when we need to be strong.
u might not see their wings, yet they are always near to share our happiness and our sorrows and i know how much they care. i call them earth angels, they are sent from above to share our earthy journey and to fill us withe their love.
so i have decided to give and honor to one of our families and i will call it " OUR EARTH ANGELS LEAGUE".
there are a lot of kitty families i would like to honor with this tonite, but my choice for this is our own former KING THOMAS'S family. they gave him a loving home when no one else would have taken on a kit in this condition and they love him regardless and have given him a loving home along with the rest of his fur sibs. it takes a special hooman to do this for one of us.

Now that I’ve peaked your curiosity (MOL) I’m going to spin you all the way back to California to meow about a very special & heroic bird that was owned by SABRINA’s #11187 mom a long time ago, (B.C. before cats)! OBIE was just a common yellow parakeet but he was very special and spoke 3 languages...English, Italian and Spanish. Obie lived in a cage in the living room but he liked to stand on top of the cage, on mom’s shoulder, or flew around during the time he was out every day…but never leaving the room. One day, his mom reached into the top cupboard to pull out a crock pot and lost her grip and it came crashing down on her head. She’d never in my life experienced this sensation & truly saw stars and felt herself losing consciousness. All of sudden, Obie flew into the room and landed on her shoulder and started chirping "pretty bird", "Ciao Bella", "Que Paso" into her ear as she gripped the countertop. (Obie never had been in the kitchen before and it was a completely separate room as the living room) She later went to the emergency room & found out she had a concussion. She believes Obie & his act of heroism prevented her from being knocked out cold that day.

Day 3
Thank you for supporting me and pushing my votey button. I appreciate you stopping by to visit me. Thank you for putting me in your taglines too.
My first show was only 45 minutes away. I went to the groomer and was very good for Miss Bobbi. She gave me a bath and did my nails two days before the show.
Mom had to go and get a couple yards of material for my curtains and she was a yard short. MOL I have a benching cage I stay in while waiting to be judge. I need my curtains up so we don’t see the other kitties. I have a litter box that I don’t use, mom has food and water for me that I don’t eat or drink and my kitty bed with some toys. I do lay in my kitty bed. Don’t worry, it is normal for some kitties not to use the litter box, eat or drink during the show. Only my furriends that have been going to shows for years and to most of the shows eat and use the litter box. I do love my benching cage. When mom gets it ready then takes me out I jump into my cage. It’s safe in there. I also have another cage, it’s called the judges cage. It’s up by the judge. Mom has to listen for them to call the household pets and my number. I then go and get in the cage with my number on top and wait for the judge to get me out. Mom was nervous how I would react to my first judge but I just let him hold me and look at me. Mom didn’t get a picture because she was watching to make sure I didn’t take off. MOL
I was real nervous. The Del Mar show is very loud and there are so many people there to watch us. Yes, most of the people watch the Household pets. We always have the largest crowds watching us. Each judge is different. Household Pets do not have standards like the pure breeds. We do have to be at least 4 months old, not declawed, in good health with no evidence of fleas, ear mites, etc. Cats 8 months of age or older must be spayed/neutered. Nails should be clipped on all four paws before leaving for the show. HHP’s are judged on condition (general good health), uniqueness, temperament, and grooming. Most people bathe their pet one to two days before the show. The judges loved the household pets because it’s judges choice on who wins. I have one judge that has given me a rosette twice. He always says he picks the cats he would like to take home. I guess I’m real special. MOL

Hmmm…I think my big sis just got a quick jab in at my demanding catitude along with thank you meows...MOL! Today I’m bringing you a heroic story that is on the freekibble site after you answer the cat trivia. No pic today though since it wouldn’t let me copy it.
~SOLDIER AND CAT SAVE EACH OTHER IN AFGHANISTAN~
Stationed in an Army base in southern Afghanistan, Sgt. Knott noticed one day that a feral cat who roamed around the base was limping and bleeding heavily. He lured the cat into his office with a piece of steak and spent the next seven months caring for the cat he named Koshka. The two bonded quickly. Sgt. Knott nursed Koshka back to health, while Koshka comforted Sgt. Knott during the certain danger and emotional toll of war. When it was time for Sgt. Knott to return to the states, he wouldn’t leave Koshka behind. He explained to KPTV how he worked with a local Afghan interpreter who agreed to, in an extremely risky transport, take Koshka to Kabul. Weeks later Sgt. Knott learned that the cat (and his Afghan chaperone) made it safely across “God knows how many Taliban check points,” to Kabul, where Koshka boarded a plane bound for the states. The $3,000 Sgt. Knott’s family forked over to fly the cat home was worth every penny, they said. While Sgt. Knott is currently stationed in Washington state, Koshka is now safe at home with Sgt. Knott’s parents until the pair can be together again. The Oregon Humane Society recently honored Sgt. Knott and Koshka with a 2013 Diamond Collar Hero award for their incredible story of friendship.

Day 1
Thank you so much for asking me to run for COTM. I am so honored. This is the best bunch of kitties and I am so happy to be with you all.
Some of you might not know but I am a show cat. I have been in seven shows starting in Jan 2011. We don’t go to all the shows but it’s nice just to have mommy and me time. I’m going to tell you a little of how I felt in the shows, some of the rules and you can come to my gallery and see some of the pictures from the shows.
I have won 5 rosettes and mommy put up a shelf for me to display my rosettes and my pictures are around the shelf with my pretty rosettes around me.
Just so you know , you don’t have to be a purebred to be shown. I’ll tell you about that first, mom has me in the category of HHP( Household Pet). I will get into some of the purebreds afterwards if I have some time. I go to the CFA(Cat Fancy Association) shows. My last show one of my mom’s furriends gave her a booklet for the TICA(The International Cat Association) shows. They are starting to go to those shows too. We’ll read the booklet and let you know a little about those shows too.
I hope you enjoy my catpaign and that I can answer your questions about the shows. I know there are a few of you out there that go to shows too. Tomorrow we will start off with my first show, how I felt and some background.

A SUPER GOOD DAY TO YOU!
Merry April Fools Day! Mom is home and had to go and pick the dogs up at the vet at 10AM. They stayed at the kennel for Easter Weekend, while mom was with cousin Janet. Mom has been feeling well, for which we are very happy. Then they had their yearly exams before coming home--- he=he! Both are doing well for their ages, 12 and 10 years. Will get results on bloodwork tomorrow. Heartworm test negative. Got shots too. They got stuck with 3 needles each! No April fools. Had their nails clipped also. Mom was happy this morning with an extra morning that she didn't have to get up before 5am. She thought retirement meant sleeping in! Don't bet on it. Have a Super day! Also, when K.Barney retired he did promise to come back with a few more stories and will hope to at least do a couple this month, probably after mom gets done with her taxes and finds help for painting the house and doing other repairs. Dear CC Furiends! You are cordially invited to come and meet Fang & Drooler #236550 on Monday, April 1st! These precious kitties are so thankful to have a loving family after they were abandoned when their previous owners moved away. Their new family, who are long time loyal members of CC, realized that Fang & Drooler faced an uncertain future because of their advanced age and medical conditions; so they decided to take them in and try to find them another home. Fang & Drooler #236550 have now taken their place among the other rescues in the family! They love to hang out with mom, enjoy spending time in their beds or on the couch, & enjoy playtime outside! They both meow their displeasure with car rides, strangers, vacuums, & trash trucks; Fang, in particular, has an aversion to feathers, preferring to play only with a shoelace! These sweet kitties are also dealing with an Auto Immune disorder: Drooler has had 7 teeth removed as a result; Fang suffers from mouth and paw ulcers, and is not too happy that he has to take medications for the ulcers, insulin to treat Diabetes, stress, & will start meds for Hyperthyroidism. Along with Luvbug, Lil Jag, Buster, Smudge, & Angels Kuce, Sphinx, & Dancing Bear, Fang & Drooler #236550 have been given a chance to live with this wonderful family, who are well known to everyone for the love and compassion they have for homeless and abandoned cats! Fang & Drooler #236550 crave love and attention & will be overjoyed to have furiends come by and visit! We hope you will leave a vote so they can have the honor of winning their very own COTD award!

Happy Easter,hope you have had a good Easter Day.Mr.Easter Bunny brought us all some Friskies Pawty Mix,Whiskas Temptation treats,I told mom yesterday that I saw the Ester Bunny hid at the barn!Leaving you some Easter colored catnip eggs,with some Easter cat grass to nibble on,and mom a bouquet of Easter Lilies I picked from our Easter Lilly flower patch. Been a cloudy cool day here for us,had some hard rain earlier.Got to go out before the rain got here,I ate grasss,explored under my mousey bushes,sat on my rock,watched all the birds and ducks fly over.Missy lay on the steps and ate the grass that was growing up at the steps.Then mom said time to come in,so in we came,I did not even hiss,growl this time.Missy ate and went to her napping spot,I ate,made a few rounds all through the house,no running today,carried mr,innertube around for awhile,then where ever I drop him,mom will put him back on his paper bag for me to get later.Mom gave me a new paper bag to play in,she said I sure could make a lot of racket,well I have to tear a a little hole in the side of it so I can stick my paw out and wack who ever comes by,hehe.Mom gave my ole paper bag to the outside kittys on the porch,Oreo claimed it for his and hopped right in and was sticking his head out the hole,I sat at the door and watched him play in MY paper bag!I said thats ok Oreo,I have a new one to play in,hehe!Then I have followed mom around,when she went to rest I lay right beside her with my little paw patting her on the face,then I napped for a little while,Baby napped on moms tummy,Wicket at her feet.While I was napping with my paw on moms cheek,mom had the bright idea of trying to trim my claws,bad idea mom,she got one did then I woke up and wacked the trimmer right out of her hand,she is not trimming my claws,I need those for outside and climbing a tree!Mom said well at least I got one trimmed, you little stinker,can you believe she called me a little furry stinker!Now I'm pouting cause its raining and I can't go back out on the steps,I'm hid in the bottom of the condo with my back turned toward mom,ole rain.Missy,Cindell,Baby all napping,Wicket wandering through the house meowing,looks like its gonna be a wack for him cause he is not letting me nap!Easter pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels.Come visit me, Angel Gypsy,RIP My Sweet Angel Baby,I Love You, Angel Buddy,Love,Miss You Sweet Boy, "The Gang",Spongie's Siblings,Love,Miss You Buddy, Angel Rambo,I love and miss you my sweet angel boy, K. Good Morning Thomas
Princess Diaries: We got the results back from my Senior Blood Work...Dr. P. called & said I have a muscle enzyme CPK (creatine phosphokinase) reading very high in my blood work...Normal range should be between 0-300 but mine is in the high 1000..If this enzyme is greatly elevated, it indicates some damage to muscle cells which then release or leak the enzyme into the bloodstream. A single sample tells us that there is damage at that moment in time, and it usually clears up in a short amount of time...I will have to go back to see Dr. Perretti in 6 months and have my blood work redone...Repeated testing, if still elevated, tells us that the problem is on-going..Careful evaluation for signs of muscle swelling, growths, pain, heat or inflammation will usually direct your attention to that area...Since I have not had an injury that Mommy is aware of (& Mommy would know since she is very diligent where I am concerned) Dr. P. can't pinpoint where the enzyme is coming from...Types of conditions associated with elevations include degenerative muscle diseases, bruising, trauma of the muscles, inflammatory muscle disease, bacterial abscesses in the muscles, tumors that infiltrate muscles, or cardiac disease. The heart muscle, when damaged, will sometimes release a fair bit of CPK, & this is the most significant & most immediate rule out...Thankfully, I do not have a heart murmur, elevated blood pressure or other signs of heart disease, so Dr. P. told Mommy not to panic or fret, he just wanted us to be aware & retest in 6 months...Of course, Mommy is very concerned but she has relaxed a bit & is not freaking out as much as she was thanks to the support from all of Mommy's friends on the FB, CC Survivors Page..Special thanks to Casey's Mom Sandy for giving Mommy a link on Google to get all the info concerning this enzyme...Since I am Mommy's only child she tends to worry a lot about me...She said. "Cookie, what would I do without you"...I said "Geesh Mommy, you need to catch your mind, it's running away with itself"...The woman really needs to stop all this doom and gloom and think good thoughts...Thankfully my optimistic Daddy always lightens things up...His famous words are always "don't look for trouble". & " positive thoughts bring a positive outcome "..Daddy is a glass 1/2 full kinda guy...That's why we keep him around...MOL...And of course cause he spoils us rotten...Oops, I mean he spoils me rotten...Mommy won't admit it but he indulges and spoils her too...Don't tell her I told you..So, that is this weeks news...I leave you with this quote Mommy saw on Twitter cause she thinks everyone should live by it.....Dance as though no one is watching you, love as though you have never been hurt before, sing as though no one can hear you, live as though Heaven is on Earth--Souza...Wishing everyone a Happy Easter or Passover, which ever one it may be...Have a purrfect week...Purrs, Pretty Princess PrettyCome visit me, Sam & Oreo's "Houston Manor" & Princess Oreo - Ventnor Beach Beauty.

Earlier this evening, we shared the very sad news with you that Barb Sussman, Mom to Angel Chloe and Lucy had passed away suddenly on March 1st. Even though they haven’t been very active lately, Angel Chloe is a long time member of CC and was our December 2008 Queen. After Chloe crossed the Rainbow Bridge in January 2011, her Mom Barb decided to adopt a beautiful calico cat named Lucy. Neelix is a very handsome seven year old tabby who was rescued along with his brother when he was a tiny kitten abandoned in a parking lot. Since that tiny kitten was adopted by his loving pawrents he has trained them to be excellent staff for himself and his brothers. Regarding his brothers, Hedley and Jakar, the three of them comprise the famous (or perhaps infamous) “pawty animals”. These boys are always the life of any party, they create lots of fun at every MHL Mouse Hockey Game, and they are always the first to lend a paw on any project that benefits the CC community. They’re always there to offer comfort to the sad, good thoughts and healing wishes to the sick and congratulations to those who are celebrating. Neelix and his family always support the COTD and COTM candidates. They are a credit to the CC community!
Neelix is an outstanding member of our CC family, and since both of his brothers already have their very own COTD badges, it seems that it is time for Neelix to have one of his own. Won’t you please drop by and give this handsome guy a vote, on Monday so he can have the badge he so much deserves.

How are you today.A sunny but cool windy day here for us.Mom said thanks so much for thinking of her,that does help so very much.The prcoedure went really well for mom,she was so scared,but it did not hurt much at all.The place is a little sore where they put in the needles,and mom is really tired and worn out,but hanging in there.She is glad it is over with,she will get all test ,lab reports on April 4th when she goes back.We are taking really good care of her,when she went to lay down after she got home,I was right with her,she closed her eyes and I patted her on the head with my little paw,she did not open her eyes,I patted her again,then licked her head,did not open her eyes,then I kinda bit her on the head,she opend her eyes then,hehe,well I had to make sure she was ok,she gave me a big ole hug.Missy,Baby lay on her tummy,Wicket at her feet,Cindell stays on the counter then sits on moms lap when she is on the heating pad.Then she got up and took me,Missy out for a few minutes to sit in the sun on our rocks beside the house,ate grass,looked around,then mom got tired we had to come in and it was to windy out there,I did lay down,hissed,growled,I did not want to come in,but I saw ole mr.cane looking at me,so in we came, I ate treats lay in the window,Missy went to nap,then mom went to rest again and I carried mr,innertube in to visit her,she smiled really big at me and said thank you Spongie,you and The Gang sure can make me feel better and smile,well mom thats why they call me nurse Spongie,and Gang are all my assiatants,sometimes I have to wack them to keep them in order,hehe.Now I'm laying on my papers on the table in a sunny spot beside mom,Gang are all napping.So glad you all had a good time at the cat show,thats great.Hope you all do not get all that snow there,be safe,warm there,pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,AngelsCome visit me, Angel Gypsy,RIP My Sweet Angel Baby,I Love You, Angel Buddy,Love,Miss You Sweet Boy, "The Gang",Spongie's Siblings,Love,Miss You Buddy, Angel Rambo,I love and miss you my sweet angel boy, K.
