How We Met

Well... a few years ago we had an amazing snowstorm, for Albuquerque anyway, I was moving out of my tiny apartment into a house with my boyfriend. One of my neighbors had two beautiful cats that he decided to just throw outside in the snow when he moved... poor things were not well taken care of to begin with, they were always dehydrated and begging for food and water at my porch. Well, I was still moving things out of my place and helping my dad move in when I noticed that the cats had just been left behind in the snow. I've always been a cat lover, an animal lover in general, so tried to rescue the cold kitties... It took about two weeks to get Princess to come to me, she was SOOO freaked! I was never able to find the black and white male unfortunately, but I really hope he found a loving home. I scooped Princess up and let her rest in my bathroom... she was cold, tired, hungry and sick, poor baby. When my boyfriend came home from work, I had to tell him about the sick kitty in the bathroom... We already had a dog, and I knew he wasn't going to excited about adopting a cat, but true to form, I'd already fallen for her!!! I've been saving animals since I learned to walk... I told him once I got her healthy, I'd find her a great home, but ultimately, he knew different, and just said " So, what you're telling me is that we have a cat." We have a cat, her name is Princess and this is her palace! Jeremy couldn't help but to fall in love with her as well... she's Purrrrfect! We could not have asked for a better companion, she is super smart, playful, and the most loving cat you could imagine... she's not always graceful, hence one of her nicknames, "Gracie", but she greets you at the door like a dog would and is always quite entertaining! We love her! I could not imagine life without my beautiful little Princess.
