My favorite tricks and treats are: Simba opens the doors of the house!! (LOL!!) and Simba & Mrs.Pucca love tuna treats. They also enjoy being spoiled.

How We Met
Simba: After my boyfriend´s first fur baby;Willow;cro- ssed to the Rainbow Bridge;we wanted to adopt a new fur friend. We knew about a woman having a Mom cat with a litter of kitties and we went to meet her. My boyfriend took a look at the kitties and got close to them to pet them. A tiny,tiny orange and white kitty started to purr and also to lick his hands. My boyfriend holded him in his arms and the kitty gave him lots of headbonks. This is the one!! - He said. He says he knew Simba was the right cat for him the first time he saw him.
Mrs.Pucca had a hard life before we met her. She was born at a greengrocery and left behind when the shop closed. By that time she was only a kitten. She lived in the streets and later adopted by someone who could not take good care of her. By the time she came to live with us she was 7 months old. She was all covered in fleas and malnourished. We were glad to give her a furrever home.
Simba & Mrs.Pucca are married. They had kittens 2 years ago. We found nice loving homes for their babies.

Wow, it has been a long time but Mom has been so busy at work and at home. I just had to stop by and say Hi. It is a rainy day here today but that's OK I am busy looking out the patio door watching the chipmonk running back and forth from one garden to the other. Hi Simba and family
it has been a busy spring and momma has not let us on thte puter much so I finally got on today and had to check to see how you were doing. We are all fine. Momma is shutting down the cat rescue so she has been busy with adoptions. 10 kitties adopted out in the last month and a man wants 2 or 3 today too so we will see what happens. Momma has moved in wih her boyfriend and is busy making a cat run for us out the back of the house so we cannot wait to get out in it. Mommy's boyfriend has a bird that is bigger than us hee hee his name is buddy and he is a blue and gold macaw. we also have new kitty friends too. miss mew and Tommy. Tommy is bigger than me but he is nice to us. We finally got spring and all the leaves came back on he trees. the warm sunbeams are great. I hope you are all doing well. How are the stray cats outside are they still coming around? are your birdies outside still too? paw hugs for all of you and momma says hi to your pawents too.

hhhmmpphh. thundie and josiemae told everyone yesterday they think i be strange cause i was gettin my own tail, well, i did growl and even hiss at myself, but i not strange, i was only entertainin myself!!!!!!!
another real nice day today but not a hot as yesterday yet is in the low 70's now.

Always so good to hear from you. Sounds like your pawrents have been busy and had a great vacation. My pawrents have been busy doing demolition and construction lol actually dad more than mom. Yum lasagna sounds so good..my mom makes that too, but what is carmel sauce? I mean we know what carmel is but what kind of dessert, sounds good. We had a nice Easter too. Mom made a very yummy ham with all the trimmings. May 6, 2013--- Guess its about time!
Good Monday Morning! Have a super day! We want to apologize that it has been forever since we did a good round of blogging on CC. Now we are doing a c/p and do have to apologize to you. We are well and have told a few friends that mom is planning a big trip to visit family in Norway this summer. Also, a cousin from Norway will be returning here for a visit after. Mom has to do some painting and work on the house too or arrange for it to be done. Kitty care and a house-sitter is arranged. Doggy care is in the works. Mom got her e-ticket and her Passport came Saturday.
We also feel guilty that K.Barney did promise continued stories time to time and so far we have not! Well, we do have one for today, but will have to keep it short. Not a story mom is too proud of, because she should have listened to Angel Pasha, who you met during our Catpaign. One summer night he bit her arm to wake her out of a sound sleep and then ran to the window. To mom's credit she looked out, but did not see anything, so chased Pasha from their room. He tried to protest and kept running to the window, but mom still did not see anything and did not investigate further. Well, she did lean her lesson----- in the morning she talked to her neighbor and found out he had been gone that night and his house was robbed! Mom felt so guilty that she had not done more, but she was so tired and did not see or hear anything from where she was. She sure learned that cats may have more of a sense when something is wrong than most humans realize. this picture is surely getting old, but we're ignoring it for sure and just seeing you guys instead, how's that? we have just drop dead gorgeous weather and temps up here as we have wall to wall sunshine which is having janet doing this :) but we're getting in the bad way of needing rainfall which we won't have till after the end of next week with minor cool fronts trying to move in. one will make it thursday night for friday, but then back out again that same night and back into the 70s this coming weekend and most of next week! glad ur momma and dad had fun on their vacation
well we are sure hoping here!!
gma is doing pretty good for now. momma has gotten her out of the bed all the time like she was doing. momma will decide in the next few days if she will come back home for now and go back later when momma really needs her there. gma promises if she does go back home, she wont go back to staying in the bed all the time and will get out and do stuff in the yard and such now that it is getting warmer, will just have to see.
is nice here today but we once again have rain on the way. daddy just dont take momma's place when it comes to pet and care, but he will do for now.

sounds like your pawents had a great trip. You should have hid in her suitcase and then you could have gone to the toy store too hee hee. mommy is shutting down her cat rescue. Her back is gettting too bad to be packing all those large bags of cat food and boxes of litter. She is only going to keep 4 of us. Her new boyfriend that moved in with us has 2 kitties so there will be 6 of us all together. sad part is her boyfriend has 7 dogs too so we will be out numbered hee hee. guess we will just have to show them all who is boss. mommy is having a really hard time with all the kitties being adopted out so fast. She adopted out 6 this week and 2 more this weekend. She hopes things slow down for at least a week so she will get use to them all being gone. She has been leaking from her eyes a bit this week. I do not know what that leaking is all about. well we also have 4 budgies and a cockatiel but here new boyfriend also has a a macaw bird. Mommy says he is bigger than me. I have not met him yet but mommy says he talks like a human too. weird eh? well I better go. You must be spending lots of cuddle time with mom now that she is home. Take care

Hi Simba
How ya been?? I am alright. It was another nice day here today. WE got to go outside. the sun was shining, but there was wind. It is supposed to rain later.
Me and Kelsee just finished dinner and now we are bathing before our nap..you know how it goes with us kitties..eat, nap, play, nap....
Mom cleaned out out litter boxes today and then she had the nerve to take out that new floor monster she has...good thing we were outside when that was on...even though it is a lot quieter then the old one was, it still makes noise.
Sounds like your mom and dad had a nice vacation and seen lots of cool things. Vacations are supposed to be fun!!!

So glad you are back! Mom is excited about going to Norway and she wishes she spoke some--- will try to learn a few words before she goes. She spoke some as a child, but forgot what she knew through the years. She will be going for almost a month and then her cousin from Norway will come back here for a month. The kitty sitter is already set, but care for the dogs is pending. How has your day been.A nice day here but a cool breeze still out.Mom took me,Missy out for a few minutes when she got home.Missy ate grass and napped in the sun.I got to explore under all the mousey bushes,in the tall grass and looked in the groundhog hole,I stuck my head in the hole and yelled ole groundhog you down there,but did not see him,hehe!Mom made me get my head out of that hole,I like to look and smell in there but mom said he might be in there and get me,guess he might be an ole groundhog monster!The I chased a bumble bee,it was huge,mom said stop that right now you will get stung little man,ahhh mom,I was just looking at him.Mom said look Spongie the butterflies have come out,there was a pretty yellow one and black one,mom said it was a little early for them,but they were here,Oreo just lay down and let one fly all around his head,I was going to chase it but I just sat and watched him fly all around us.Lots of birds out today.Then mom said we had to come in,she was really tired,I came right in this time.Then I took a race through the house,toys flying all over the floor,then Wicket came racing through and things were flying all over then,mom said boys stop that,the house is going to fall,hehe!Mom got things all cleaned up,then when seh went to rest,there lay ole mr.innertube right on the bed where mom lays,I had carried him in there to wait for mom to come back home from the doc,mom said I see you and mr.innertube were napping on the bed while I was gone,yep,I brought him in to keep me company while you were gone mom,and we ate all the treats that you had on the bed for us also,well Wicket,Baby ate some of them to,hehe!Then we all rested for awhile,me with my head on moms shoulder,Wicket at her feet,Baby on her tummy,we missed mom while she was gone!Now I'm, in my favorite sunny spot on the toy rug,Baby in the sun on the counter with Cindell,Missy napping,Wicket bathing himself.Bet you all are gald your pawents are home,glad that they had a great and safe trip,pawhugs,Spongie,Gang,Angels.Come visit me, Angel Gypsy,RIP My Sweet Angel Baby,I Love You, Angel Buddy,Love,Miss You Sweet Boy, "The Gang",Spongie's Siblings,Love,Miss You Buddy, Angel Rambo,I love and miss you my sweet angel boy, K. So nice of your Mom to share her trip with us. It made my Mom feel like she was there too. My Mom was in Rome many years ago and loved all the beautiful art and churches there. Thank you for pouncing by with your support of me this month! Can you believe the last full week of my reign is already here? I’ve been having so much fun with all of you at the Imperial Cabin this month & it’s great to see the tulips & other spring flowers blooming outside of it. I’ve still got some heroic & unusual CC furiends to tell you about though so hold on tight because my spinning isn’t over yet…MOL! Today I’m featuring a very special kitty in our community that many of you know so grab a plate full of scrumptious flavored muffins & catnip coffee prepared by our head chef Patches & aide-de-camp Angel Gracie & I’ll get started meowing about THOMAS #127574!
Thomas'Mom was volunteering at a local animal shelter when this little 3 week old kitten was brought in after having been badly abused by some children. The abuse broke his back and resulted in paralysis and no bowel / bladder control. The shelter kept him until he was 12 weeks old & healed an abscess, & because of his incontinence was bathed 2 x/day. They put a cut down litter box in his cage in hopes that he would use it but if he couldn't then he would have been deemed unadoptable and euthanized. Mom fostered him & then adopted him because he was not able to use a litter box, even though he enjoyed rooting around in the litter. Mom had owned a dachshund in the past that ruptured a disc and was paralyzed & a vet taught her how to take care of him, so she knew she could express Thomas' bowels and bladder & take care of him. Sweet Thomas is a true ambassador for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals & I hereby present him with the Queen’s Perseverance Medal for being able to overcome hardships that no baby kitty should ever have to endure! His life is now filled with the love & attention he deserved from the start & is the purrfect ambassador to spread the word because of his purrsonal experience. Thank you Thomas & mom for sharing your story!

Glad your pawrents are home & had a great mini vacation! Sounds like they had a lovely time. I'm sure you are happy to have them home. Thanks for the compliment on my profile picture. Lily's Mom made it for me. Waiting on nice weather. We did have that one freaky week where it jumped to 80* but since has been in the 50's during the day & low 40's or high 30's at night. The portable heater is constantly running. Even so the apt is only 66*. Mom put the heater in the bathroom on which opens to the livingroom. i'm sure you're happy your mom and dad are back home i know we were happy when my mom and dad come home from their vacation...
it was 54° and sunny today...still too cold for mom...
mom met her friend Donna for lunch her grand daughter Dee also joined them..
after mom came home she put in a load of laundry then her Avon lady came with her order...we were disappointed she didn't bring her dog to play with us...
after dad came home they went to buy steaks that were on sale and grilled one tonight for them...

There are no ribbons for Breed awards, they are simply named by the judge.

So glad you're back!
Merry April Fools Day! Mom is home and had to go and pick the dogs up at the vet at 10AM. They stayed at the kennel for Easter Weekend, while mom was with cousin Janet. Mom has been feeling well, for which we are very happy. Then they had their yearly exams before coming home--- he=he! Both are doing well for their ages, 12 and 10 years. Will get results on bloodwork tomorrow. Heartworm test negative. Got shots too. They got stuck with 3 needles each! No April fools. Had their nails clipped also. Mom was happy this morning with an extra morning that she didn't have to get up before 5am. She thought retirement meant sleeping in! Don't bet on it. Have a Super day! Also, when K.Barney retired he did promise to come back with a few more stories and will hope to at least do a couple this month, probably after mom gets done with her taxes and finds help for painting the house and doing other repairs. We didn't forget.
So happy to hear your pawrents had a safe and fun trip! Hello Mrs Pucca & Simba!
Hope all is well with the tow of you and with Mom & Dad.
I am Neckinha's Mom and I am writing today for two reasons: to apologise for Neckinha's silence and mine and to give you a very sad news, Neckinha died on November 27 with kidney failure. She was 13 years old on October 20th.
I miss her very much, she was my friend and my company, I am happy that she did not suffer much.
I enjoyed our conversations and I will never forget you and your sweet Mom.

2/21/13 Made it to Thursday Day for K.Barney! +2
Got mom up by 4:00AM, but she still isn't awake. Today she is remembering our Angel Rosebud, who passed 2/21/09 and was a contemporary of Angels Pasha and Agatha. Rosebud was the only cat Pasha accepted to associate with after Agatha. Come to think of it, I don't think we have told Rosebud's story, but guess that will have to wait until next week, because we do have to finish Grisha's.
Anyway, mom brought Grisha home and put him in the now famous guestroom. She had high hopes that Pasha would adjust to him, especially after adjusting so well to Agatha, but it was not to be. Mom had to keep Grisha in the guest room, except when she could close Pasha in her room and give him a bit of time to roam the house. She felt very bad and wasn't sure what to do. Going back to the Humane Society was not an option.
Well, it just so happened that mom did have a friend,Marilyn, who stayed with her frequently, while she was looking for a more permanent place to live. Mom had met Marilyn at her church. Marilyn had some learning disabilities, but was very independent and was taking classes to become a certified nursing assistant. Of course, while staying with mom, Marilyn did have to share the guestroom with Grisha, who worked his charm on her too. Whenever Marilyn was there, he was her best friend and purr therapist! Doesn't take a detective to see where this was leading! When Marilyn finally found a place to stay, Grisha went to live with her in her apartment.
We are not quite to happily ever after yet. Marilyn had asthma and after a few months it got much worse and, she was told that she really needed to give up her cat. She was heartbroken, but then another opportunity came up. With her asthma getting worse, she really was not safe living alone and couldn't return to living with mom either. There was an opening in a group home and a community called "On Our Own." Not only was Marilyn able to find a safe place to live and job opportunities, but Grisha found a new home and purpose too, although he had to live in a different house than Marilyn-- as a therapy cat! The house residents cared for him and he gave lots of purr therapy and love!
Again, we are running out of space. Grisha and Marilyn have both passed over the Bridge, but lived very productive and caring lives. Stay warm and we will come back with another story on Tuesday. Buuurrrr...I hope you have your coat on, it is bone-chilling cold outside today and it is windy as well. Only 24* for a high...I am so glad I am wearing a fur coat and staying in the house.
Wanna go ice fishin??? Our Lake St. Clair is frozen and we can sit on the chair wrapped in blankies and fish...nah, it is too cold, I'd rather stay in the house with mom and snuggle with my sister.
Mom was playing with Winston with a shoelace, you should have seen that clown, he was rolling all over the place and grabbing at it and biting it and then he took it from mom and ran with it and jumped on moms bed and now he is napping with that dang shoelace...crazy cat!
Oh no, we have one of those awful things, too and you are right, I saw it grab onto one of feather toys and wouldn't let it go...mom had to turn it off and then it spit the toy back out...how rude to suck in our toys like that...we all hiss at it, too...we do not like it.

2/19/13 Happy Tuesday to You From King Barney!
The temp is +5, but a windchill of -14. The good mews is that its the warmest temp in our state. Can you believe that this month is more than halfway over! I do hope you have been enjoying it and your time with us at the castle. We have also been enjoying JosieMae's blogs and we remind all to vote for her page#193862 daily, so she can be Queen of March.
Well the bad mews is that mom is still looking for the camera charger, but the good is that we will have another pic to go with today's story when she finds it. I thought I would tell the story of her first visit to the Golden Valley Humane Society, Golden Valley, MN, not far from us. It was shortly after her grandmother had passed and during the time of Angels Pasha and Agatha. She was job hunting and found a notice of an opening in Humane Education for the Humane Society. Now, at that time she knew she didn't qualify for it, but she wanted the info.
It sure was an interesting trip too. They gave a tour of the facilities, including the adoption areas, which included dogs, cats and other critters. The cats were kept both in cages and had large free rooms, where they were given time out of the cages. Well, I'm sure many of your pawrents know the danger of visiting the cat area of the Humane Society and mom didn't get out free either. As she walked through a stripped orange paw came out of a cage she passed and grabbed her arm. Mom stopped and said hi, removing the claws from her clothing and giving the cat a pat. She turned to leave and again she felt a tap and the claws grabbed her firmly. Again, she stopped to pet the cat. His eye caught hers, as if to say "get me out!" Mom thought about it, but she had Pasha at home and knew she had been told he was not good with other cats. Anyway, she continued her tour, but had to pass this cat once more on the way out. She did not even have him in mind, when the same paw stopped her one last time. The eyes pleaded--- "Please lady, I need to get out of here--- lets blow this pop-stand!" This time she asked about him and his adoption fee. It was only $35.00, with a gift certificate for a low cost neuter. That day Grisha, which is what mom named him, escaped with mom to a new life! It wasn't the end of their adventures, because, although mom kept him in the guest room and had him neutered immediately, he did not get along with Pasha, who wanted to kill him--- no doubt about it.
As usual, we will have to turn this into a two-parter and finish on Thursday. This story has a wonderful ending, so stay tuned. Grisha was a really sweet cat, downright irresistible cat, and even though mom knew it wouldn't work to keep him with Pasha, he was never going back to the Humane Society.

read the blogs last week about janet's accident? she was wondering as no mention was made in the letter she wrote to janet just yesterday and was just wondering! janet will tell her as she did get it started due to cc acting up 2-3 times this am which allowed her to get fb/email all done on the main 2 accounts and start some letter replies on the other, but not likely to finish this. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.
