How We Met

I was a member of a household that abandoned me for no good reason (sigh). I don't know what I ever did wrong (tears in eyes)!!! I ended up in a field near a post office, where I cried constantly every night. The other cats in the field were accustomed to living outdoors and were very unfriendly to me. I didn't belong there , but had nowhere else to go. There was this nice man who used to come every evening and leave food for all the cats and ducks in that area. He never saw me because I used to hide in the bushes while watching him during feeding. One night, I was determined to make my move! While he was sitting on the curb feeding the other cats, I ran to him and furiously continued to rub my face against his arm while purring loudly. I wouldn't stop. The man was startled because the other cats would never do such a thing, even though they all knew him and liked him. He left, but returned the very next night. Again, I ran to the nice man and continued to rub my face against his arm. This time, he took out a cat carrier. At first I was unsure, but I was worried that this might be my last chance. He picked me up, put me in the carrier, and we drove to his house. The rest is history. I was lucky to find him. I have a wonderful home with lots of love. I know that my new owner will never abandon me, as he is very devoted to me
