How We Met
Fate! Mom adopted me and my brother when we were only four weeks old. They told her we were nine weeks, but she knew better. She had to make an unplanned excersise stop at a store where they had us in a cage. She had no intentions of getting kittens, since she was alone at the time and couldn't manage two kittens by herself, she waited for her husband to return from an all day trip(fretting the whole time someone wrong would get us,or worse just one!). They drove 80 miles round trip to bring us to our forever home. It was just four months later that their eight year old cat, Jordy, unexpectedly succumbed to kidney disease. Fate brought her to me and Jesse so she wouldn't be without a cat when she needed one most.

IT WAS YAHOO HAVING TROUBLE ON THEIR END WITH UPDATING SOFTWARE AS WELL AS OTHER THINGS TO MAKE IT SPEEDIER AS WELL AS NOT SLOWING DOWN LIKE PEOPLE WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT! JANET'S GOT THE SINUS ALLERGY FLU BUG AFTER STAYING WELL ALL THIS PAST SEASON, SHE GETS HIT NOW OF ALL TIMES! NAT BROUGHT IT HOME FROM WORK 2 WEEKS BACK AND NOW MASTER IT SEEMS IS GETTING IT HOPING MOMMY DOESN'T TOO AS AN AIR BORN VIRUS ANYBODY/EVERYBODY CAN GET IT! JANET'S ALREADY WALKED PEPPER AROUND THE BIG BLOCK AND DID 2 LOADS OF WASH AND ARE OUTBACK ON THE LINES AND HAS PLANTING TO BE DONE, BUT IS FEELING LIGHT HEADED AS WELL AS WOOZY FROM MEDS FOR CHOLESTEROL, HPB, ALLERGIES AND SINUS. WAS TOLD THEY WOULDN'T DO IT, BUT HAVE! WORKING NEXT 3 DAYS WITH IT AND THEN SEES HER NURSE PRACTIONER TO GET 2 WARTS FROZEN OFF SHE HOPES FOR THE LAST TIME AS ONE IS GONE AND HOPING ANOTHER IS JUST ABOUT GONE AND ONE BEING STUBBORN! we missed
a freeze here last night as it was cloudy and 37 when janet got up but that doesn't mean it can't dip down to that before the sun comes up before 6 here now, right? another chance of it tomorrow morning and warming to the 70s once again so no more chances of frost, but last 2 years most farmers lost everything so fingers crossed it wasn't and won't be that bad this year as it only takes one good one to kill everything! sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

stopping by with a
good monday morning vote. usually janet loves mondays as they don't bother her, but she made the mistake of going back to sleep and waking up feeling like her sinuses like they were yesterday afternoon all teary eyed, hurting and well likely to clog up later. yesterday had a front go through and they killed! got 1/2 of the weeding done too as well as walking twice after getting in from work. sports day is wednesday! sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

wanting a wake up call?
how about two male cardinals outside of janet's south window! sure made for interesting time for around 10-15 minutes not to long around 6 this morning! janet was out and about bright and early walking pepper and is trying hard to save what she can for vacation late next month, back to northern new hampshire, north conway, but money likely will be very limited, so they will get what they can for meals at a grocery store to save bucks which helps. also hoping to do and see quite a bit too as well as relaxing some too. sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

janet's eyes and nose
are sappy this morning and just won't stop watering or being blown! allergies as well as the weather is gonna chance the day after tomorrow been telling her this since a few days ago. she loves the warm sunny dry weather, al-though the mornings aren't liked to much to cold still usually lower to mid 30s still and that's to cool she says! windows were opened up wide most of the afternoon till early evening with it was too cool from the east and then an hour later the south one went down too. mid 70s here today and near 80 tomorrow. sandy,ana,haley,angels

so what
month is the trip to montana planned for? janet and nat are booked going to northern nh, white mountains once again june 23-26, then she's got a bus day trip at the end of that same week going to coastal maine so will be dead tired going back to work on the 30th! still sunny and warm, only getting warmer by the day here and maybe some beneficial rain on wed/thurs and maybe again on sunday next weekend. sports days are tuesday/friday this coming week. sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

happy may day!
we know it's a national holiday in many foreign countries, but nothing here not even a minor one like it used to be when janet was little! had a grand day here janet got a chance to sit outside instead of in the kitchen as the meat had to marinate overnight so she'll have to do it to-day. she's getting her hair chopped off as she's sick of having to put it up every morning. hope to see you on friday for sports day, going to be lower to mid 60s cooler than yesterday or today and tomorrow due to be warm till it cools down from the northeast. sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

already cleared off after a cloudy, windy and cold winter like day here yesterday! didn't make it out of the lower 40s which surprised one and all as they said the 50s to near 60, don't think so! janet's already walked twice, has to wash her hair and then get something for supper as well as maybe clean some of the kitchen if nat's game to help her or move stuff on the north side of the garage in that messy section of the yard. sandy,ana,haley,angels

even if it's
janet's day off she's walked 2 miles, then done the stuff for the potato salad one of her grandma's she's been trying out, then bistro chicken later on and for dessert an apple cobbler without oatmeal...maybe nat will eat that??? won't know till it's been made. had rain earlier and was told a boomer last night, but janet slept through all of it since she was out of it after 9:30-5:15 this morning when she got up ready to walk early, but still was raining at that time. had stopped by 8 and away she went to the east on bay road, home and got the potato salad going as well as having breakfast getting fb/email done/out of the way. sandy,ana,haley, angels

no need
for a cold frame for broccoli, lettuce, carrots, onions, leeks, beets, or peas, they're all cold/cool weather tol-erant things and grow pretty good in that weather and can do well in colder temps. janet has more weeding to do in the fenced off portion and then getting her herb garden going as well as plenty of yard work to do too, but not today as a kitchen sinker/ice storm all around us, except here or points to the south where it'll be all rain and temps into the upper 30s to low 40s. a big change from the 70s of the past 3 days and 60s yesterday! we'll be 50s this weekend and nice as well as 60s and 70s again through most of next week, rain again by friday next week. sandy,ana,haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

so...
drop dead gorgeous outside and will be warm again tomorrow but cloudy with good chances of showers more than on thursday, then rain that night and friday janet's other day off. she had an hbp/cholesterol check which was good and 3 warts frozen off and goes back in 3 weeks time to have it done again. then down on all 4's weeding, planting 4 rows of leeks, onions, broccoli, and a letttuce radish mix and raking nasty pine needles which will fall again soon with their spring shedding! 70s today and tomorrow. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

happy easter to one and all
from our house to yours and hoping the easter bunny was good to you too? janet's happy that another big holiday is done and over with for another year! all the outside decorations are down due to incoming rain towards evening and tonight so that's just another thing done as well as all the wash off lines outback and down cellar folded and put away in addition to walking to/from sunrise service at the church this morning, then grilling out breakfast and doing lunch as well as getting fb/email done and out of the way first things. janet's gotten pictures posted on fb and will add a few more which she just did when everybody opened up the easter baskets she made as she does every year. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

finally some of the outside work is once again starting to get done seeing janet's got a jammed packed schedule now doing all the cooking ahead of time, as well as packing in getting the poles up around the lower part of her garden, then will have to rake the edges of the front lawn and prune some of the apple trees remaining outback and get the fence up once she's got the zip ties to do that and on easter likely we'll be late due to a sunrise service or early morning walk, grilling out breakfast as well as get-ting lunch moving after that and easter baskets as well as another walk and taking the eggs off the front tree before the rain moves in on the afternoons. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

it's soup and salad night once again
with more chicken noodle soup janet made a week ago which has been put into jars in the fridge last week after they had cooled down. she might take what's left and bag it up and freeze it. also have some leek and potato soup to finish up as well. we got dumped with 4" of slop on the ground and it's melted down to 2" where it was when janet was out shoveling between 4-5:30 this morning. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

here we go again!

at least
most of what had to be done is mostly done except the bot-tom sheet on janet's bed and since it's to hard to get to as the mattress is one of those bulky tempurpedic she only does it certain times of the year and waits the colder months till it's warm enough to hang those sheets outside to dry and has hopes that next week maybe when it gets up into the 50s. janet's already walked twice, saw the sun come up, changed her bed as well as had a 6 month dental cleaning/check and goes back in september a week apart from her physical the following week. sandy,ana,haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

guess what?
janet got her car back yesterday ahead of schedule as the garage was ahead of things so she got the call around noontime. now for the other news the weather gave us 1" slush now as the rain is washing it away and we're hoping more of the snowpack will melt down too between today and friday with temps into the upper 30s to mid 40s and on/off again showers/snow flurries as the storm starts to pull away this coming weekend to early next week. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

wanna come and

it's so nice
that janet's been out walking twice today, but come to- morrow likely only one big walk and that's it due that when master/nat pick her up it's to the bank, target, and aldi's then home and likely lunch/email, or a walk before lunch and then sitting down with that as she goes through email/cc/fb. lost around 13"+ of snow out there leaving 11" and going down between today and friday. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

we've got
slippery conditions yesterday with a kitchen sinker and took many by surprise as janet got caught up in it too, tires refused to grip the surface, did a 360 hit a snowbank and bounced off a small tree almost landing her in the ditch, but she managed to get ahold of it again and now is carless for the next 2-3 weeks. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.
