Education: This cat survived about a year living in the wild, as a young kitten until we adopted her! She's very sweet, and quickly bonded with me, unlike when she bit through my thumbnail when I tried to pick her up as a kitten. OUCH!
My favorite tricks and treats are: Nope, she's just a sweet little kitty! and Meat
Where I hang out: In my big oval chair, on my bed, on the toybox laying on the cushion, behind things, in a little nook in my room
My favorite grubs: Wet kitty food, meat, anything she's given!
My pet peeves: Loud noises, kids running around, anyone or anything chasing her, and for some reason she's horribly afraid of my stepdad.
What I love about my owners: She gives me lots of attention! She kept her promise about bringing me home with her!
My cat hobbies: Lay beside me in bed, lay in the sun, be outside, play with her daughter, Fluffy.
Pet motto: Live over the tough, and good will always come. :)

How We Met
Her mom, a tortoiseshell cat, came to us one evening when we were out at my Dad's preparing to camp and cook out. I noticed she was pregnant, but Dad, knowing him, wouldn't help her. I named her Cali. So when I went over to his house for the weekends I fed her every time, occasionally cat food, but mostly dinner scraps. One day I noticed 4 kittens behind her: a tiny orange kitten, a white kitten with a orange striped tail, a pretty brown tabby, and a pretty black kitten, the 2nd biggest, with a white star or blaze on her lower neck. I named each one, Stripe, Snowball, Tiger, and Blaze. My dad surprisingly let us keep tiger, and later on the others slowly disappeared. Tiger got hit by a car, and that left Blaze. Even Cali supposedly got taken away by a moving family. Blaze later had three kittens of her own, a white one with big black splotches on her fur which I named Jewel, and a big black fluffy kitten named Fluffy, as well as another tiny runt kitten similar to Fluffy, that had many sicknesses and died soon after. We ended up adopting Blaze and Fluffy, after tons of bonding and trusting, in December, taking them to our lovely country home. We really wanted Jewel but she was too afraid to ever come to us. We don't know what happened to Jewel after that. :( But the two we did keep got a loving home. :)

>^..^<*~ Please give a COTD VOTE of support Thursday, APRIL 15th, to Sir Snuffy the snuffers, #84403, the sick little rescue kitten who grew up to become the big bold black & white prince of his Texas home. You know a little something about 2 year old Snuffy as he is the loving brother of Sweet Miss Sprinkles! The family went with their daughter Stacy to look for a kitten in need of a home at their local SPCA and when Stacy saw Sprinkles & her brother Snuffy she said “Look at the little cow kittens!” They were planning on adopting just Sprinkles, Snuffy’s sister, but when they saw the two sibling kittens playing together, they decided to keep them together and just had to have Snuffy too! They could tell the siblings shared a special bond and did not have the heart to break them up. The family scooped up Sprinkles, along with her brother Snuffy and their human “sis” Stacy became their surrogate mom! The 2 kittens both had bad colds while in the SPCA Cat Center and the family took them home to be nursed back to health & loved.
Snuffy was the smaller of the two siblings and he was the sickest, sneezing with a bad case of sniffles. He had to go to the regular vet as well as the vet at the SPCA. Every time sick little newly adopted Snuffy sneezed, his human sis would ask if he was ok. Ever since then, when one of the humans in the family sneezes or coughs, Snuffy the snuffers meow at them, asking if they're okay! The vet gave Snuffy some great medicine and told his family that Snuffy didn't want to eat because he couldn't smell the food. She told them to get Snuffy some strong-smelling cat food! The family force-fed sick little Snuffy until he realized that the food was some good stuff! Snuffy the snuffer has had a great appetite ever since. To this day, he loves to eat FISH! As a sick kitten, Snuffy was smaller than his sister, Sprinkles, but now he is a really big sweet boy with a talent for opening doors!
