A sincere apology to all my dear feline furiends..
Two months, no meow. I'm so sorry, everyone! Our account wasn't working for a little bit and then when we got it back again mom was so busy catching up on blogs for the critters and dogs (they still have blogs from months ago!) and then mom started a new school year. I've really missed you while I was away. I thought of my CC furiends and all your sweet faces and memories of sharing past stories and friendship came back to my mind very often. I am so thankful for the caring kitties. You are one of them! I have so much to say so sorry if you have red eyes when you are done reading this blog.

Us kitties have been great. Our human family is doing wonderfully. How are you? What have you been up to? I hope you are happy and healthy. There are so many things that have happened since we've been away so I'll have to save some for future blogs.

Do you remember the cute little duckling mom found on the road? Mom raised Lucky with much love and pride. She had Lucky in a large guinea pig cage in her room. She spent many hours with Lucky, cleaning the cage, walking around outside, and sleeping together. Lucky followed mom just like mom was her duck momma. The day little Lucky flew off a hill by the house brought tears to mom's eyes because she knew she saved Lucky's life and that she would never see Lucky after she released her. Mom took Lucky outside and watched her swim in the natural small puddle/ponds which mom found in the marsh by the house. She was swimming very well and diving under water and swimming under water, too. Then she started flying around from puddle to puddle quite well. Mom released Lucky on August 7th. It was one of the specialist days of mom's life because everyone said "that duckling will never make it" or "it's surely going to die" but mom gave so much time and effort to saving Lucky's life and the memory lasts a treasure in mom's heart. The last three pictures on my page are of Lucky the day she was released in the pond behind our house. Lucky had never flown so well or so beautifully as that day. She flew in circles and high and low. It was almost as if she was putting on a good-bye show for mom.

Well, here's a vote and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible! Can't wait to start talking on CC again. It feels so good to be back!

Love from your thankful friend, Mickey #41067

Come visit me, Abby & Mickey & K.C. (missing since 7-24-11).

♥Hello Oreo & All The Kitties!! &hearts
Today 21st September,we´re celebrating Spring´s Day over here and my sissy Lucy and I are both purring of happiness. Mrs.Spring has arrived with a lovely sunny day and we´re sure pleased about it. I have been playing in the patio during the entire morning. Most of our Grandma´s plants are in bloom now and soon we will also have lots of flowers to smell too!! There are already a few roses. Granny takes very good care of them. I curled up with Lucy and I washed her face. Then we had a nice nap under the sun.

Mommy came back from work early this evening and we´re both helping her to cook now. She´s preparing a yummy cream cake to celebrate our Daddy´s birthday tomorrow.
I hope you have a wonderful Monday and also a peaceful night. I´m sending you here lots of kitty kisses and purrs. And a very nice bouquet of fresh catnip and flowers to play for you all!!

Updates and a vote!
Dear friends! It has been SO long since I’ve meowed at you. I bet you thought mom had fallen down the stairs on top of us! MOL No- nothing that drastic just a hundred other things. Well let’s see- where to start with the updates?

Charlie had his big boy surgery & did great. They said he would probably be cranky for the first few days, but that didn’t happen. He was just our normal sweet boy. He has been acting more like a kitten lately. He keeps stealing all my toys! GRRR! & then he plays keep away with them! HMPH! Mom has to tell him to quit teasing me, because it upsets me. I don’t EVER mess with his toys, so he should leave mine ALONE! (I don’t think mom has explained the rules of the Diva to him very clearly! MOL)

Oh! Charlie decided to try to wrestle with me last month & got so carried away that he scratched me! (My 4lbs against his 16 lbs- not a very fair fight if you ask me!) & left a scar on my perfect little nose! Mom says that I’m still beautiful & it gives me character, but there will be no cat shows or Hollywood films in my future. Sigh- Guess I’ll just have to be adored by family & friends. But boy did Charlie get in trouble! Serves him right- Mom told him to pick on someone or something his own size. But then she gave him his X-Large Kong Kick toy so he wasn’t in trouble for too long.

Frankie still likes to tease me when he comes down for a visit. He lands on the bed, & mom always thinks it’s me until she looks & sees me staring at the bed with a bottle brush tail. She laughs & says “Hello Frankie! Did you come for a visit?” She may laugh, but he spooks me out when he does that invisible thing!

Mom’s eyes are MUCH better. She loves being able to see so clearly! But she’s been really busy. First she had to get her new classroom together before school started. It had been painted black with red sponge paint & it had holes in the walls! She said it was dark & awful! Looked like someone had thrown blood over black walls, so she & grandpa filled in the holes with mortar & repainted the whole room! She put bright fabrics & posters up so now it’s a cheerful place to be!

When school started she was teaching 3 subjects (2 that she hadn’t taught before!) & a couple of weeks into school schedules were changed & she was teaching 5 different things! She was staying up to 2 am preparing for classes! So she talked to her principal & got it fixed. So now she teaches all art except for 1 writing & 1 strategies class. She is SO much happier & so are we cause she has more time for us!

Speaking of- I spent all last week with mom! She got a mystery illness the docs think may be a form of meningitis, so she was quarantined at home! But no worry- her fever broke yesterday & she feels much better. So-back to school on Monday & my having her to myself is over. Sigh- but there is always weekends!

Well, that is what has been going on with us for the last 2 months. Know that we missed you terribly! Love & kisses! ~Misha & the boys

#*•:*'''*:•COTD WED8/12 VOTE #135423 Sniffles!''*
>^..^<*~ Please give your COTD VOTE of support WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12, to a very special candidate SNIFFLES #135423! Mr. Sniffles, AKA Momma’s Boy, is just the cutest and friendliest striped ball of fur and love! Amazingly, Sniffles was a little kitten found abandoned outside the Head Start building, skinny and cold. Being an animal lover, his adopted Mom took him home, cleaned him up and fed him, posting “LOST” flyers around the area. When no one claimed Sniffles, she could not deny this affectionate adorable purr machine, and claimed him as her own!

SNIFFLES #135423, of Andrews, Texas, is so loving, he purrs constantly and lets the little kids love on him. The most heartwarming part of Sniffles story is the fact that his Mom had never thought of herself as a cat person before Sniffles entered her life. She had 4 dogs she loved with all her heart. They can all be found on Dog Channel. Sadly, she shared with members of the DC community that “on March 24th, 2009, a neighbor took their short lived lives into his hands and carelessly ended their stay on this beautiful planet of ours ... guess out of pure anger and hatred, he chose to retaliate by poisoning all of my darling babies using bait laced with rat poison. When I discovered them lying on the ground, I rushed them all to the vet. My babies, Tango and Cash, died almost immediately after our arrival to the vet's office. Freckles and Maverick managed to cling to life for another eighteen hours before taking their final breath. They have all been brought home with me and laid to rest on our farm where they belong and will always be remembered... Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...”~(DC dogs Angel Freckles (DC#30850), Angel Tango (DC#78185), Angel Cash (DC#78186) and Angel Maverick (DC#101024).

As an animal lover, her heart was so hurt from the loss of her 4 family dogs to a cruel neighbor, she did not think herself ready to open up her heart to another fur baby when this helpless deserted kitten meowed into her life. SNIFFLES #135423, with his loving ways, won her over, and now she loves him unconditionally and furever! True to Sniffles loving pursonality, he and his Mom often post welcome blogs to new kitties on CC! Lets show Mr. Sniffles and his Mom how special they are for sharing the healing benefits of a loving heart by giving SNIFFLES a much deserved COTD vote of support!

Mr. Sniffles & his Mom thank all you awesome CC cats for helping Sniffles #135423 with a COTD vote on WED AUGUST 12th!

Thanks also for your faithful support of the August COTM candidate ANDERSON #41067! We gather together and cheer:

This is Fidel & CPK’s, along with Casey of Mouse Hockey fame, on behalf of the Catpaign & Mews Room #46883, leaving you a catnip dusted vote of appreciation and, in honor of Sniffles, your very own cat porcupine ball toy! Have FUN!

Hey Oreo!
The San Diego Department of Animal Services, SDDAS,, is a county shelter with a mission to protect the health, safety and welfare of people and animals. Their site says it is the policy of the state that no adoptable or treatable animal should be euthanized if it can be adopted into a suitable home. It does not state it is a no-kill shelter but says
their commitment is to responsible sheltering practices that require they use and document reasonable efforts to place adoptable, treatable, or manageable animals in an adoptive home or with an animal sheltering agency or
animal rescue organization.
It promotes spay/neuter and estimates say it only takes seven years for one female cat and her offspring to produce 420,000 cats! In six years, one female dog and her offspring can give birth to 67,000 dogs. Nationally, four to six million animals are euthanized each year. SDDAS does have a veterinarian-subsidized s/n referral program to help keep the costs down. They provide care for cats, dogs and rabbits.

Sunny came from this shelter and had a GI disorder and combined with his disability, his front left leg ends at the elbow and the front right has only part of a paw, he was destined for "the Green Mile". Fortunately
his Mom adopted him in time. Josie was a Petsmart adoption, just out of foster care and probably from the same shelter. Sunny and Josie #30287 get along very well. Mom was not at all impressed with the web site for SDDAS and compared to many others she has reviewed we are awarding SDDAS ***.

Hello dear Oreo!
Oh, Oreo! Your words were so sweet! You are a very nice cat and I'm so happy we may be friends. I am very happy to take the honor to be a very sweet cat's friend. You are a wonderful pal and it makes me so glad to know that you're always here for me. I'll always be your best friend, too. I'm so sorry about the delay! Mom will have to let the dogs and us cats on more and Topaz (mom's rabbit) less because since one of my doggy siblings, Pike (pronounced "pee-keh" ['girl' in Norwegian]) wasn't on for a while, her love broke up with her and she's so sad. Mom wanted to make sure that I got to come on and do my blogs today. Mom went swimming today with her friend, Hannah. They're were big waves and they had lots of fun bobbing up and down (mom told me all about it he,he!).
Our summers are too short. I wish you were here so we could watch Lucky and chase Topaz, he,he! I can't go outside anymore though, I'm sad about it. Mom doesn't want to let me out until winter because her dad said that he saw me at the fishing lodge where he works. Mom really doesn't want me running off because anything could happen to me. I'm safer inside and I won't wander in the winter, too cold!
Thanks for your prayers. The worker will be okay, praise the Lord! Wishing you the best of wishes my friend, on this windy Tuesday! I hope every thing is well with you and you're family. What are you up to?

Good Evening Sweet Oreo and Family!!
Hello my friend!! How are you today?

These are Lola and Lucy here writing to you and bringing you some mews from Buenos Aires. We´re pleased to be here with Mommy purring in a chair by her side. Our Grandma came back home from her winter vacations last Sunday. It was sure great to see her again,we missed her much. And... best of all;she came back with gifts for us all!! (including Mommy!!)

I (Lola) got a cute chicken rope toy that walks all over the apartment!! I love it soooo much!! I have been chasing it since I got it. I want it to move all the time!! (he,he!!) As soon as it stops moving I start meaowing. Momma says I´m funny. She has taken some photos of me with the yellow chicken and she´s hoping to put them on my page soon.

My sissy Lucy also got nice gifts. She got two new mats to sleep by the fire and four canned tuna, that she´s kindly sharing with me. (of course!!)

We´re so very sorry because we have not been very much at CC lately, but Mom wanted to blog sometimes and it kept on sending her to the Mew page or telling her the pages could not be found. We´re glad it´s working fine this evening.

Mommy says now that Grandma is back home she´s going to be able to help us blog to our kitty friends often like she did before. She has more free time when she hasn´t to do the homework!! Yeah!! We like that!!
We had a grey but warm day today and we´ve been playing outside in our patio;we stared at the doves and chased some little bugs;then we came inside for a nice nap together.

I send you tons and tons of love,my dear friend. Have a wonderful Tuesday and keep on always purring.
With much love,
from your friends,
Lola & Lucy and all the kitties from Buenos Aires!!

Thank you so much for using our shelter, CAHW, as your charity for good search! That is awesome! It means alot to us! Your support for my COTM catpaign is very much appreciated. ANDERSON'S SHELTER SURVEY:
The Hilton Head Humane Association, HHHA,, located in Hilton Head, SC, was incorporated in 1976 as a nonprofit organization
funded entirely by private donations, bequests, membership dues and fundraisers. No funding is received from any government agency or humane
organization. It is a haven for lost, abandoned and abused animals. Today over 200 animals are cared for at the shelter, with more in foster care until they are ready to come back to the shelter for adoption. the
HHHA promotes spay/neutering, has a feral cat program, provides humane education and outreach. It is a no-kill shelter serving dogs and cats. Prudence #106518 found her forever home after staying at HHHA.

Dogs and Cats Forever,, is a no-kill shelter in Saint Lucie County Florida. It was organized in 1988 for the purpose of building and maintaining a shelter for homeless dogs and cats on the
Treasure Coast. It is founded on the principle of trying to find good, adoptable and loving homes for the animals. They strive to end animal abuse and neglect. It is non-profit, totally dependent on donations and
endowments and not connected with any other Animal Society. Simba #142815 comes from this shelter.
Both shelters, although small, seem to be providing excellent services in their communities. Both receive *****. Prudence and Simba live happily
in Vero Beach, FL.

I addition to the Animal Rescue Site providing free food for shelter animals, two CC members informed me about Another site providing free food for shelter animals. has provided 140,212,990 pieces of dog kibble since April 1, 2008 and 104,560,690 pieces of cat kibble since June 1, 2008. Hey Oreo!
Thanks very much for your support. ANDERSON'S SHELTER SURVEY:

Formed in 1913, The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, CAHW, (formerly the Northampton County SPCA), is a private organization. We are not affiliated with any other SPCA or ASPCA. We are not a government agency,
but are a non-profit organization. In 2003 we committed ourselves to saving lives and became a no-kill shelter. We are dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for animals. We have improved our foster program, increased adoptions and offer a low-cost spay/neuter program. Fund raising, donations and bequests make up 90% of our income and we apply for many grants. Adoption fees, relinquishment fees, memberships and agreements with some of the local municipalities, to take in their strays, generate the rest of our revenue. We are responsible for a $750,000
operating budget annually.

In 2004, CAHW sheltered 3366 pets, of which 2115 were strays. We provide care primarily for cats and dogs with occasional rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, & guinea pigs. CAHW provides the eight primary services listed under Anderson's avatar. We are very proud of our s/n clinic held four days a week for feral and stray cats, performing 100+ surgeries to help prevent and manage the animal overpopulation crisis. We have a very active volunteer program and extensive fund raising events. We offer adoption days frequently at PetSmart, Petco and numerous other community businesses.

Mom has been an active Volunteer in the s/n clinic every Monday 8 months a year for over four years. She assists with frequent adoption events and fund raising. She adopted Dean #36497 and Ricky on 1/30/05. Ricky crossed the Rainbow Bridge 6/29/05 due to FIV and Mom adopted me, Anderson, #41067 8/24/05. She has a good knowledge of CAHW and gives it a ***** rating.

Another very easy way to help shelters is to use "Good Search" as your search engine for web sites. Just add to your favorites and use it instead of yahoo, gogle, excite or msn, whatever
engines you normally use. You can register your charity/shelter so every time you search, a penny goes to your shelter. If your shelter is not registered and you have no charity listed, feel free to use ours.
The Center for Animal Health and Welfare in Easton, Pa. is listed and we would greatly appreciate any support given. Why not help support shelters, it does not cost a thing and Good Search is as effective as gogle. It all adds up. Thank you very much. Leaving you a vote. Peace and love. Have a purrfect evening. Kitty Kisses. Anderson

Hey Oreo!
Anderson says I am so very thrilled to have been chosen for this wonderful honor to run
for the special priviledge of COTM! To follow the outstanding kitties who have earned this prestigious award is a dream come true. The platforms
that have been offered have been very impressive and trying to find a unique and interesting format for August has been challenging.

I have noticed in visiting friends on CC that profiles state basically four ways kitties have come to their forever homes: 1) breeder, 2) shelter/rescue, 3) stray, and 4) family and friends. I must thank
my catpaign manager, brother Dean, who has helped lay the groundwork by requesting information from friends in a survey. We sent out over 35 survey requests to kitties we noticed came from a shelter or rescue, as stated in their profile. We were very pleased with the response we
got. Obviously many kitties and their pawrents are very proud of their shelters, as well they should be, and provided us with lots of details and web sites.
We found this information very interesting and I plan to use my daily blogs to describe different shelter/rescues from around the country,
mentioning which kitties originated from them. I hope you will all find this enlightening.

I am also requesting you all support the Animal Rescue Site, ARS, daily. Clicking on this site provides cats and dogs at shelters with free food.
There is no purchase necessary. The ARS also has beautiful jewelry, clothing and gifts for all occasions at very reasonable prices. Each
purchase provides more food for shelter animals. Mom has been shopping at the ARS for years. Please take a moment to check out the ARS and add it to your favorites to click every day. www.theanimalrescuesite. com Thank
you very much. This helps countless shelters and only takes a minute.

In addition to posting data from shelter web sites, we will be assigning a star rating system. One * terrible, two ** poor, three *** satisfactory,
four **** good, and five ***** excellent. Stars will be assigned by evaluation of eight services: 1) adoption, 2) lost & found, 3) investigations of cruelty, neglect and abuse, 4) rescue & emergency services, 5) reducing tragic overpopulation, 6) humane education, 7) foster care program, and 8) spay/neuter services. Also
consideration will be given for no kill status, non-profit, fund raising programs and # of
animals receiving services. This is only our assessment awarded on details posted on web sites. Not all sites include the same information,
so a low star rating does not necessarily mean the shelter is not effective.

I am so very excited to be catpaigning for the honor of COTM throughout August and look forward to visiting you all daily. I hope you will enjoy

Hi Oreo and siblings!
Guess What? Mom had surgery on her eyes! She had LASIK done and is doing really well, but for a while there everything was REAL blurry. Her doctor said she couldn’t work on the computer, so we haven’t been on. But she went to the Dr Friday and he said that she can start watching TV, working on the computer, and reading again- just small doses of each so that she doesn’t tire her eyes. But she says it’s worth it cause she won’t have to wear glasses anymore! But the funniest thing is that she has to sleep in a pair of goggles for 2 weeks so that she doesn’t rub (or so that I don’t walk on) her eyes! She looks REAL funny with them on- kinda like a bug! MOL

Oh, I forgot to tell you- I had a HORRIBLE experience today. Mom was taking a bath (in her goggles! MOL) and I was sitting on the side keeping her company. And then (I don’t know how, but I think mom’s clumsiness rubbed off on me!) I FELL INTO THE TUB!!!!! It was AWFUL!!!! Mom has one of those big Jacuzzi tubs, and it was full, so I couldn’t get out. I started grabbing for anything that could help me get out, but only succeeded in pulling a bunch of towels and washcloths into the tub! It was terrifying! Mom (who was already in there) saved me by lifting me out, and then I ran around trying to find an exit, but the door was closed. (Mom said I left little wet kitty tracks all in the carpet.) I looked at her and cried and she told me to come back and she would help me. I didn’t know whether to or not, but I trust my mom. (Even if she was still in the water!)

So I walked over to mom soaking wet, and mom lifted me onto the side of the tub (I was afraid she might put me back in for a minute!) and put a dry towel and her arm around me. That’s when I knew I could relax cause mom wouldn’t let anything happen to me. She got me dried off and I purred her my thanks then jumped down and kept her company from the safety of the floor. Wow- I love my mom!

Not much news to report on Charlie. We have been having late night raccoon visitors that have been tearing up the birdhouses looking for food. Charlie keeps trying to let mom go out and teach them raccoons a lesson, but she won’t let him. Grandpa trapped one, the other night (live and humane trap) and he said that it weighed 35-40 lbs! (I think that’s one fight that Charlie DOES NOT need to engage in!) We are still waiting to set up his big-boy surgery sometime next week, I’ll let you know when I know the date. (Mom has to wait until the doc says she can drive- her eyes are still going in and out of focus too much to drive.) Frankie hasn’t been by to pull my tail much, so I guess he’s been too busy keeping Charlie safe from the raccoons and mom safe from the stairs. MOL!!! Left a vote, lots of love, purrs and sandpaper kisses! Meow at you soon! ~Misha

Thursday Winter Mews From Us In Buenos Aires!!
Hello dear Oreo and family!! How are you, dear friends?

It is really very, very cold here in Buenos Aires. This morning when Mom left for work there were -4*!!(Brrr...!!)Lucy shivers only we the thought of it.
Lola is happy that Momma turned on the two heaters of the house;she was having a nice nap with her this evening under the blankets on her bed. Lucy has been also sleeping by the heater on her cushion and she doesn´t want to leave this place at all.
Mom didn´t let them go out to play because it is too cold and it keeps on raining all the time. They have been playing inside and being good kitties. Mom got a new little frog toy for Lola and Lucy and they think it´s lots of fun. It jumps and they have been busy trying to catch it!!

It is snowing in the lots of places in Argentina. That´s really very weird for us;because we usually don´t get snow. It has been snowing also in Buenos Aires;but not yet where we live,in the city. It´s been said we could be getting snow if the temperatures keep on being so low. I think we kitties would like to see what the snow is!! So,maybe we do!!(he,he!!)
The man at the weather channel said tomorrow we will be having a colder day even. Momma said we´re lucky to stay sleeping in her warm bed until late;she says she would like to join us!! But she has to go to work.(MOL!!)

Have a lovely Thursday, dear kitty friends. We´re leaving you here friendship votes for all and a basket with some nice tuna pies for you. (Mommy is cooking roasted chicken for dinner tonight and we´re going to get some too!! We already can smell it!! Mmmmm!!)

Lots of kitty kisses and a bunch of hugs;
with much love,
from your friends,
Lola and Lucy and all the kitties from Buenos Aires!!

Get the Kleenax box out. AMARETTO 116191 telling her story: "I had been at a shelter for over a year and half …let’s just say I was a little feisty. I wasn’t a real ‘people’ person and the shelter workers were afraid of me. Can you believe that? They tried putting me into the cat room with other cats, said I stalked a cat there, and had to be removed. So, I got stuck in a cage. Mom saw my picture on the shelter's website and would watch to see if I had been adopted yet. (I reminded her of Hannibal and she was curious). After being there so long Mom decided meet me. I was a bit upset on that day as I had just come back from a foster home where I was kept in another cage. I wasn’t in a real good mood to say the least and Mom wasn’t sure if I would fit in with the guys." Pass the Kleenax, please. "The following week Mom got in the mail the shelter's newsletter, where I was featured on the cover with a letter to Santa asking for a home. READ THIS LETTER ON AMARETTO'S PAGE. Mom said it broke her heart so she called a shelter worker, she knew from adopting Hannibal and Giovani, to make arrangements to come on 12/27/08 and again spend some time with me. This worker was also leery of me but after spending time with me Mom thought it would be ok. At that time, I wouldn’t let anyone pick me up or hold me. Ok, I’ll admit that maybe I was a bit of a challenge but I needed to learn how to trust again. From that moment, my life started to change." More Kleenax please. "I’m now Mom’s lap kitty and she calls me her little angel. Having a bad case of kitty acne, Mom had to learn how to sneak meds on me so I wouldn’t swat. I also have inflammatory bowel disease, and have been cooperative about taking meds which help this condition. Oh, and as for my brothers..I get along fine with them and love to play with Indie and nap with Hannibal. Mom emailed the shelter worker some pics of me in my new home and a friend told Mom that they have it posted on their bulletin board. The lady told Mom that she’s the shelter hero because they didn’t think they’d find a home for me but Mom said that I’m actually the hero for learning how to trust again. You can’t always judge a book by its cover and a little love does go a long way." .·:*¨¨*:·. Sniff, sniff - What a wonderful story! It's takes a special Mom (and home) to adopt a kitty like AMARETTO and give her a chance to love and trust again. Give your COTD vote of approval to AMARETTO 116191 being the true HERO of her own story!

Hi Oreo!
I haven't been able to get on too much because mom's rabbit Topaz is super busy with COTM on and everything. Yes, it is terrible not getting to sleep with my mom for a while. Mom put Lucky out side in a bottomless (meaning the grass and dirt was the bottom) cage and it was out all day but it got cold in the evening so she brought it in and she fell fast asleep on mom's arm! It was so cute! Mom had to keep pushing my off because I wanted on too!(hehe!)

I have some bad news. (at least for our family) I'm not sure if you know that my mom, her parents, her brother, myself, and all my furry siblings, are temporarily living in the hanger mom's dad built one year ago. Well, my grandpa (mom's dad) has 2 men hired to help build our home (a log cabin. Grandpa cut the logs all by hand in the forest) Yesterday, one of them had a tragic accident: He fell off the top of the cabin and broke his back. There are no hospitals where we live and to get to one (in Anchorage, Alaska's largest city) you have to fly in a little airplane which takes 1-2 hours. Grandma called the emergency line and people came and put him in a stretcher and he flew to Anchorage. He went to the hospital and they X-rayed him. They found that he was just getting something that might be lung cancer. Lung cancer is the worst type of cancer. If he hadn't broke his back, had this emergency, went to the hospital and had x-rays taken, this lung cancer wouldn't have been caught at an early stage and he would have died. Hi is getting a cast tomorrow and lung treatment for the lung thing and he will be okay. He is like part of our family. Please pray for further recovery. Is this just another coincidence?...There IS A GOD!!! It's getting late here, now, so I'm sorry I must say good night, my dear furiend.

Love, purrs, and of course a vote from your forever furiend, Mickey ★

This morning, after breakfast Momma let me and my sissy Lucy go out to the patio for a while;we were staring at the doves and came back to the warm kitchen soon because it was too cold.(MOL!!)
Yesterday we had guests at home for dinner. Mommy was cooking almost all day and of course, I was helping her. I think my parents had a nice time;Mom food was yummy;I can say because I tasted it myself!!(he,he!!)
My parents´friends got along with them her little baby girl;I had never met a baby before,so it was quite an experience. Hi Oreo and siblings!
Where to start? We thought that things were going to calm down around here and that we were going to be able to keep in touch with everyone, but…. When you have to depend on humans, things don’t always go as we felines plan! OK, we will start with why we have been off line for the past 9 days. Now everyone knows that we LOVE our mom, and she has many feline qualities. One of them, however, is not gracefulness! She broke her arm while she was a summer camp counselor! She is ok, but she couldn’t type very well so…. Here we are behind again! She is still kinda pecking at the keyboard with her right hand and typing normally with her left. It’s quite funny! (She broke one of the bones in her right arm, has a “bone bruise” on the other bone, and damaged the tendons that run along the top that work the fingers and wrist! Mom doesn’t do anything ½ way! MOL)

We have a new sibling: a miniature horse. He was born in our pasture with mom and grandpa in attendance. His name is Leonardo- or Leo for short! Last year’s baby is Remmy- short for Rembrandt. Do you see a theme? It’s because they are Paints. (Mom thinks she is so clever! MOL) Mom will try to add a pic to the bottom of my page so that you can see what a beauty he is!

We cats are all doing great. Charlie’s cheek is healing nicely, but still no hair growing back. I told him it would serve him right if he went bald there. All that fighting over nothing! Mom has his big boy surgery scheduled for the end of July, and that will stop all that! Mom says he is turning into a catnip addict! She says he spends way to much of his time just rolling in the catnip patch! Mom says we may have to get him in CAN (Catnip Anonymous! MOL)

Frankie is great as always but has been quite busy trying to keep mom and Charlie safe. His poor little Angel wings must be so tired having to keep up with those two!

I have been just enjoying the wonderful air-condition. Mom bought me a halter and leash, thinking that she could get me to go outside. NO WAY! Mom says she is going to keep trying, cause I cry at the window when she goes out, but that is because I want her to come back in where it is safe- she is too accident prone to be outside! MOL

Well I hope everyone stays safe and that you are all doing well! Now that mom can type again, maybe we can get caught up and stop the cut and paste updates! Lots of love, kitty kisses and purrs to you and yours! ~ Misha and the boys

Hello Oreo!
Well, the little duck is survivin' like a champ and mom is taking very good care of it. Mom's sad because she's gotten to be so attached to the little thing and she'll probably have to let it go in the pond with the other wild ducks. As for me, I've been enjoying the nice warm and sunny weather. Mom's been going swimming every day and she catches the duckie shrimps and then she lets them fry up in the sun and then the duckling eats them and he loves them! Personally, I would rather eat dehydrated salmon (which the duck doesn't know anything about hehehe!) Well, here's a vote and I gotta run

We're back on line!
HI! Oh wow, it has been such a long time since we have been online! 12 whole days- it seems like forever because we have been missing you! Mom is a summer camp counselor and so we haven’t had much of a chance to get online. But she has today off and is home with us! Yipee! So we are going to try to say hi to everyone so that they know that we haven’t dropped off the CC!

Frankie has been having a fine old time playing with all his angel friends. (And I think he may have a couple of crushes developing on some very beautiful Angel kitties! MOL) He is still so touched that everyone voted for him to get his COTD. But he hasn’t let it go to his head. He is still the sweet loving and humble kitty that he has always been!

Charlie has been being Charlie. He has been being such a boy lately! He has been getting into fights every time anyone lets him out of the house. So then he gets grounded, and when Grandma lets him back out… he fights again. He usually only gets a scratch or two- no major damage. But the last time he wasn’t so lucky. He came home with a big chunk torn out of one of his pudgy checks! Mom got so upset, but the vet says that he is fine, and that it isn’t infected. Mom just has to watch it to make sure it doesn’t get any signs of infection. But mom says that this and one other thing has earned him a trip back to the vet to get his big boy surgery!

Speaking of the vet: Mom took me the other day. And everyone was so nice to me, wanting to hold me and love on me, that is until… the checkup! They gave me shots and did all kinds of embarrassing things! Mom says I only have to do this once a year as long as I stay healthy, so I am! Oh- guess what? I actually weigh 4 pounds now! (16 months old and finally weigh 4 lbs!) And the vet told mom that I was through growing. I am just always going to be tiny and petite. (That is the other reasons that Charlie is getting fixed. If I had his kittens, it could hurt me badly. So many people wanted one of our kittens, but it isn’t going to happen, Thank Goodness!)

Oh- excitement out here in the country. We live about 5-10 miles from an airbase, and they do all these trainings. One training they were teaching the flight crew how to use infer-red vision, and they saw this huge creature. So they called the Game and Wildlife people. They investigated and found a 14 foot long alligator swimming down the creek with a whole deer in his mouth! They caught him a couple of miles from our house! Can you believe it? And we live in Central Arkansas! We don’t have alligators! All the rain that we got back in April and May must have caused him to swim up from down South, and then the rain stopped and he got stuck here. Shiver! I told Charlie that Angle Frankie must have been watching out for him or he would have been a gator snack! MOL He asked me how I thought he got that gash out of his check, and told me he taught that gator a lesson! MOL Boys!

Lots of love, purrs, and kitty kisses! This is the final week
