i hope you and your family are well & happy...
Sad News .......
I went to the rainbow bridge..on March 15th , Mom took me to the vets for a checkup as it seemed there was something stuck at the back of my mouth..i was booked in after a few days for the camera down the throat..they found a tumor which was spreading..it was hard for mom but she decided to let me sleep forever so I wouldn't suffer
I have made loads of new friends here & also met up with some of my old friends ...and we are sending our love to all of you from the rainbow bridge.
I would like to visit you as often as possible on CC & some of you on facebook as your friendship has means everything to me.

Just a note to explain our absence from blogging. Mom does my typing and she has been sick. She still is recovering so it will be a little while yet. This is going to be a short form note until a later day. I have been unable to keep in touch because Mom was not here to type for me. Mom was taken to the hospital by ambulance, Aunt D. took care of me. She did a five job but I missed Mom. Those ambulance people just came in and took my mommy without a goodbye. They have no right she us MY mom. Mom got home last night. She is better bit very weak. She had the stomach flu, then low blood sugars ended up causing a sulent heart attack but minimal damage. Just get my strength back now. Aunt Dixie saved the day once again. I will write more later when Mom is stronger.=^.^=Come visit me, Callie.

How are you? We got a whole bunch of snow. It snowed all day yesterday and most of the night and we have a record snowfall for thie area. Snow is a rare thing in this area, so it is really special. How are you today? Guess what!? I'm running for COTD on Feb. 12th!! I'd love it if you would stop by and give me a vote!! It's cold here today, which doesn't happen very much around here, so it's a nice break. Tippi just had her big girl surgery Tuesday and is recovering nicely. She has to wear an e collar which looks like an upside down lamp shade. Her 2 kittens are camping out in human sister's room and trash it every day, just having fun and being kittens. Well, this weather would give anybody the winter blues. We woke up tosnow flurries again. They said no more than an inch this AM but at noon they changed it to about 2" by evening. When this melts we will have another flood. I am really ready for some sunshine and spring weather.

Wow such weather. While I was blogging yesterday the ice built up to the breading point. We had a wide spread power outage. We were only out about 5 hours but many were out more than 24 hours. We have electric heat so we would be very cold after that long. Mom & I went to bed and read to keep warm. It works. Mom is achy today. It is supposed to warm up but it is raining. That's okay! Yes, she won COTD and had her own winner's box and everything. She's made a lot of new friends in the past 3 months she's been with us. She's going to get her big girl surgery at the SPCA on Jan. 26th. It's less expensive than the regular vet. How are you doing? We're having weather with highs in the 50's, which is pretty normal for this part of Texas at this time of year. We had some real cold weather, with it getting into the teens when the New Year first started. You stay warm. Dad went to SC for a conference today and mom is just happy that she won't have to deal with a decision for ET alone. I hope you have a most purrrfect Friday.

It was a very sad day here yesterday as mom and dad's beloved meezer, ET, went to the Rainbow Bridge. She had been fighting cancer of her sinuses for several months and mom got 'the look' yesterday afternoon and knew that it was time to let her go. All of us have been in mourning today, and although better, there's still a lot of sadness. I hope that you're well, sweet kitty and I appreciate your stopping by. Next visit will be on a better note.

BRRRRRRR!!!! Yes, it is bone-chilling cold here, but at least Mr. Sun is shining. It is 24 degrees right now at 2:00 p.m. but with the wind chill it feels like 11 degrees. We are under a Hard Freeze Warning until noon Sunday with temps not expected to get above freezing for 96 straight hours. There was ice this morning on the roads & bridges, but nothing bad here in town. Hopefully we will not have any problems. We do worry about all the outside kitties.
Today we would like to share a heartwarming story with you. Mommy’s friend Tammy has a kitty LeeAnn who had renal failure. LeeAnn had a kidney transplant and is doing purrfectly well now. Yes, we all had a delicious holiday. One of our gifts was not fun. It was catnip scented bubbles that you could blow indoors. Our human thought we would love them but we didn't like when they popped and made us wet or clung to our whiskers. We will stick with the laser pointer and treats, thank you very much! We are glad you had a nice Christmas. So did we. Now we are in a deep freeze weather blast. It is so cold. The wind chill factor has not been above zero for three days. Yeah, we had a great Christmas up at the Rainbow Bridge. Glad you had such a nice Christmas. The kitties at home got Yellow Fin Tuna Temptations treats. The kittens got a new feather toy. It's a long string of feathers with a ball of feathers at the end and it's on a stick, so someone can make it move like a bird or mouse moving around and they love it. Happy Mew Year! I hope your holidays were happy...sounds like you were a good girl last year, judging by all of the goodies. Thanks for asking about HellCat. I think I shared this with you previously, but mom and dad really did not start out with that name. This kitty went through 4 name changes before this one became popular with all of the other kitties in the kitty hold. She loves humans and she is the sweetest kitty--that is when she wants to be. Sophie got one on her--she's no longer the Queen here...Feisty Sophie knocked HellCat right off her throne. All is meowy good and her abscess healed well.
