The Sunshine gang helped dad clean up after his party. Zippi walked over the wet counter with Taz. Missy knocked over a stack of dishes in the sink. OG was the most help, sleeping between the pillows. He escaped last nite and spent the nite outside. He came home when he was hungry and had to do a poopie. So good to hear from you.. We have had snow. Mom hates it. We also had sick foster kitties 7 out of 9 were sick. Upper Respitory. It was awful . our new boy Bond Blk and White Scottish Fold had it and We didn't see signs any way most of the cats in the cattery got it. It was awful mom had to syringe feed and medicate had two friends come help AM and PM. She never would have made it if it wasn[t for them.You can see Bond when you go to the foster page he is the main cat even though it shows Nook. Another nice day in the 70's. We all slept late today, the party was alot of work. We helped dad clean floors and 3 of us got in the sink when he was washing dishes. Zippi and Taz are running around the house crashing doors and scrunching rugs. Missy is sleeping in the sink and OG is asleep in the warm laudry basket just out of the dryer. What a party, about 20 bikes and 6 cars. Dad closed up around 1030 and was up at 600 am cleaning.Today is rest day. A little human chased us and picked us up and yelled,OMG it was stressful. ... Mom's high school class reunion was back in Illinois & since she was co-chairpurrson, she made the trip ... YEP, leaving me here at the mercy of a caregiver. She said the reunion was a resounding success, but I'm sooo glad she won't be going back for another one. She promised me. When I asked whether she & Dad were planning to forego any further vacations in order to stay with me, her eyes began to glaze over & she hemmed & hawwed. I fear I am in for a repeat performance. The man who cared for me is a dear, but he made the mistake of bringing two of his young children with him when he came on the weekend. I had some terrible experiences with children when I was a kit & I just can't handle having them around. They got at either end of the sofa I was hiding behind & played with me. It was not fun from my perspective & I'm afraid my terrors caused me to soil myself. I also threw up later on the off-white carpet. I'm so ashamed but I just couldn't help it. Keep me in your prayers for future Mom & Dad trips, that they find someone I feel comfortable and safe with to watch me. Hellooooooooooooo how are you both? we are doing well have you been able to go see the fosters? Elton and crew? Mom spend s alot of time with them. We are doing well and staying out of trouble. Mom brushed Olivia for a long time today to make up for taking her to the vet yesterday. She had her Program Shot and nails and butt trim. She was not happy. I being a short hair don't have to get a trim. For your encouraging thoughts and prayers for me, Dusty. I'm really feeling O.K. and Mom's popping 2 pills a day to clear the infection I might have. I just pushed sometthing and I was gone. oh well wehave missed you my space bar is sticking. mom has beenso busy we just don't havethe timeto come on and write like we used too. We have 7 foster kitties and may be getting one more this week.Wehave been dealing with two colonies of cats one 21 cats and onearound 40........ It has been overwhelming... We have a bautiful choch point/seal point Siamese mom named him Elton and he was in the 21 group he is very sweet and docile. He is a cool boy then we have three teenagers blk an white and their mom one black,Beauty and a brat Finnegan. He is Yellow. He is sofunny They get canned food two times a day and Finn thinks heshould eat itall. Heis on a steroid to keep his weight on.It is a pretty good mix Beauty growland Finn chases her. the teens are finally getting better at being around people. They are so shy and mom too. Mom has not felt good for about two months we finally got her to go to the dr next week......... Her Ms gets her so tired but she has had a major pain in her hip and doesn't know what or why. I have felt ok but mom is mad at me somebody peed on the carpet and since I poop sometimes on the carpet she thinks it is me Iam the most likely culprit but I will never admit it. I get my insulin shots every day and I take my chemo pills Wed and Sat. dad gives me the pills Mom and dad both give me the shots Mom hates to so dad does it most of the time. Butit is a real big deal that mom can do it she almost passed out at the vet when they learned how to do it . she knew she had to learn how to do it. and I am so good I sit real still and come and get it and they don't have to comefind me or any thing If Olivia or Desi had to do it it would be awful no one could do Either of them. I am the sweet girl Queen. Olivia hides when the grandbabies come and so does Desi I stay and play they are almost two (twins) and really fun. Busy day for dad today. It has been in the mid to upper 80's for the past few weeks. Send us some snow. The kits are starting to shed now.Zippi and her ensemble were practicing the River Dance and dad told them they look like the Rockettes. They are practicng.Quiet day yesterday, nothing got broken, or wet or tipped over. Oh yes, the Zippi mouse wound up in the water fountain and turned the water blue. We gave dad a break today, nothing broken nothing trashed, only a small pool by a litter box and a tipped food dish. OG has gotten so big he hangs over the jumbo litter box at both ends. Dad says he is going to get an old bathtub and cut it down so he can go in there.Taz opened more cabinets and was spying the cookie sheets from a distance. Zippi on the screen.Missy scratched dad while he was brushing her. OG woke dad at 330 am with his famous meow meow. Have a great day, hope you are all well. She's been decorating everything that's not moving - one of the reasons I'm staying so slim. On the move constantly - both of us. 2008 Kitty Olympics. Zippi will be in charge of trashcan diving, litterbox flipping, water fountain wading and jumping,brown nugget hockey game, litter rolling and the highlight will be the 20 yard dash with a Wal Mart bag around the neck. Taz will be in charge of knocking knicknacks off tables, refrigerator climbing.300 am Bed Trampoline jumping and ballerina pair dancing. There will be Marathon running and wall bashing to go along with these games. Missy will be in charge of endless on the back sleeping enduro's, aloofness and bad attitude games along with a looking in the mirror contest. A computer keyboard walking game will be scheduled also. Ole Gray will be in charge of rules and regulations, overseeing the crown wearing marathon and 300 am yowling contests. The highlight of the game will be a 20 yard run while being chased by a hawk. Prizes will be awarded for the largest hairball. Uniform of the day will be housecoats and boxer shorts. Dad will be available for the cabinet opening doors contest and pass out frosty beverages.Any and all kitties wanting to enter into any games or have ideas for new games may enroll on Taz or Zippi's pages. Zippi has cast the final vote after a weekend of reading kitty stories and we had 2 winners and 2 runners up. The winners will send the coveted PITA Award to the runners up after a week, then they will vote on the next PITA recipient. AND THE WINNERS ARE.... CLEOPATRA AND SEBASTIAN FOR THEIR LITTLE EPISODE. THEY TOOK MOMS CREDIT CARD AND CHARGED 40,000 DOLLARS FOR A SWIMMING POOL FOR BART THE ALLIGATOR. THE CO CONSPIRITORS WERE ONYX AND KINSER. They are all on probation, cleaning latrines for the money to pay back mom. They all have custom orange jump suits. Zippi has told dad, she will get the award back no matter what she has to do.
