Thank you so much for your advice Mom really appreciated you getting back to her. I am doing O.K. Mom watches me all the time. She smiles when I do something like stop at my scratch and claw or bat around a ball or mouse toy. Last night we cuddled in bed and then I go to explore. Mom doesn't know I'm gone until I cry out for her to come and put me back in bed. Sometimes I even get back in bed with pet stairs. Mom will most likely be home tomorrow due to the bad storm we are expecting. I'm glad because I get her all to myself for an extra day. This has been a bad winter, I never saw a winter like this before. Hope you are having a great day and thank you for all your prayers and well wishes they are truely appreciated. My niece is over my house right now and she said Maggie went to her box and then got back on the couch with the help of her pet stairs but that's O.K. She is moving around but her balance is off and she gets tired really fast. I have to be gratful for what we have and I am and gratful for good friends like you and all our CC friends. This is Maggie's Mom who wants to talk with your Mom. I remember when Bao Bao had his stoke that your Mom and Dad worked on his leg some kind of therapy and he started to get stronger. Maggie had a mini stroke and it effected her right side especially her back leg. Is therer something I can do to give her more strength in that leg? Please get back to me on this I am trying everything possible to give her more quality life. Please help me. Thank you, Maggie's Mom Pat. How are you my furiend? It has been a while since we meowed. It is soooo cold here in Connecticut down below zero. We are expecting more snow and ice. Mom can hardly wait for winter to be over. Last night I slept in between the body pillow and Mom. She covered me with the blanket and I purred us both to sleep. It was great!!!! So glad you got the package.. But what a scare with Jaio.. You are going to have to really be a big brother to her and keep her from straying out again. I am glad she is safe and sound. That was a close call...especially since she was with the paint in the garage. But luckily, she is with you and Mom Sofia and Dad James. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and will soon be cozy and happy in your nice new home. Hi pretty girl!
I hope that you and your family are doing well. Things have been crazy here for Muma. Dad got really sick after Eynie's Cat Show in Kelowna in October. That Dad was in the ICU, Muma thought he was going to the rainbow bridge. Its good that Dad is too stubborn to do that. Things are slowly getting back to normal. Dad and his d-o-g, have to stay here while Dad gets better. Muma won't let him go to his home in the country, it too dangerous. We're getting used to the d-o-g and the kittens love him to death. They sleep, play and eat with him... I guess they just don't know any better. Muma says that she's going to try to get back online to chat with our friends more often.

How are you and Jiao doing today. Hope all is going well. Well the weatherman was right it rained and rained and then rained somemore. It is now getting cooler and the humidity has gone away. Maybe Mom will take me outside tonight when she gets home. We might get our first frost over the weekend that's what the weatherman said but you know how right they are. You have grown into a beautiful boy! I love your profile picture - you sitting in the Ziploc box. I know Angel Bao Bao taught you to be a gentlemeow, and you learned so well from him. I know he is looking down from heaven and watching over you and your pawrents every day!
It doesn't sound like Jiao Jiao had a good start in life - being in a cage and all, BUT now she has a furrever loving home with you, and your pawrents. It will take her some time to be trusting and furriendly with you, Bing. I hope the spaying will change her temperament a little, and she becomes a loving little girl.
Jiao Jiao probably wants to be the "boss" because this is the first time in her life that she can be. Be patient with her like you have been doing - sharing your food and toys with her. I think she will come around being you are such a gentlemeow - she just will need some time. Before you know it, she will be in that nice new soft bed your Mom got her and taking all her naps in there. I think your Dad is right - spoil her, love her, and let her know she is safe and loved furrever.

How are you doing today? Hope your weather is as nice as ours. What a difference a day makes, it is so beautiful outside just like fall. The weatherman said it will be like this for the next week. I hope that awful humidity doesn't come back it was such an awful summer. Last night Mom asked me if I wanted to come outside with her so I stayed in the doorway and just looks out while Mom held the door. She said Maggie either in or out which is it. I couldn't make up my mind so I just sat there, hehhehheh. Needless to say Mom closed the storm door and said she wasn't going to let every bug in town in the house. Oh well maybe tonight I will walk outside it was very windy last night and we all know how I dislike the wind in my fur. How wonderful to hear from you, we have missed yall. Mom stays busy doing stuff for Grandma. Just found out a few hours ago that Mom has to go take Grandma to the hospital in the morning as she is being admitted with congested heart failure. Mom feels that Grandma has had this since the beginning of the year and they just have ignored it until it has gotten so bad. Please keep my Grandma in your prayers. Jiao Jiao is adorable, her name fits her as she is just as cute as a little dumpling. Thank you for introducing her to us and we welcome her with open arms into our circle of friends. My but haven't you grown into quite the handsome young gentleman!!! I am happy you get along so well with Jiao Jiao, I am sure she fills the lonesome spot left by our dear Bao Bao. It has been a while since we meowed, how are you doing? Hope you are having a great day today. I bet your weather is nice and warm. We had such a beautiful weekend that Mom worked in the garden and got it all cleaned and cut what needed to be cut to get ready for planting. How are you doing today sweetie? Did you have a nice weekend? It was a quite weekend and the sun was out all weekend. Mom got all her shopping and cleaning done and we just hung out together. I think Mom had too much time on her hands because she gave me a good grooming. She said I have gotten cranky in my old age and I don't like being brushed and combed anymore. She was smart this time she put gloves on and I couldn't grab her hand. Very funny Mom!!! We are going to get some bad weather all week according to the weatherman. Little Sylvr’s fur mom, Kittzi, began stopping by the Knight family, eventually realizing the benefits of regular meals. Lillian Knight won over Kittzi by encouraging her to come everyday for food & offering backyard shelter. Kittzi Knight, seeing what a good thing joining the Knights could be, not only took her up on the offer, she brought the Knights a little surprise in early Nov. 2009! Kittzi Knight showed up with her baby Sylvr Tuff, estimated to be about 3 months of age. Kittzi let Sylvr know this was where they would live from now on! As the months passed by, Sylvr Tuff Knight & her cat mom Kittzi, not only settled into the Knight routine, they learned to love playtime with Mom Lillian, developing enough trust to let Lillian take them both for their big girl surgeries.

Sylvr Tuff Knight is the youngest member of the Knight outdoor all Girl Power Crew (GPC) & true to her being a kitten, loves to play! Knight Mom Lillian plays toss, pounce & fetch with Sylvr Tuff #160205 at least twice a day, even in the rain. Knight Mom tosses a toy & Sylvr pounces, Mom fetches & the game continues!! MOL!! Sylvr now comes to the patio everyday where Mom Lillian keeps a small green basket of toys on the ground where they stay dry. Sylvr will paw at the toys, snatching one by one out, throwing them up in the air, ready to pounce on them when they fall to the ground. Sylvr loves to play! Sylvr’s fur mama, Kittzi sometimes watches & when Mom Lillian isn't outside to play, Ktitzi will play with Sylvr on the patio, showing her how to climb all over the kitty tree condos! As you can see, the entire Knight Family knows how to have kitty fun! It is such a pleasure to do something nice like a COTD catpaign for such a wonderful CC family of amazing rescue cats! We all know the daily prayer blogs & list kept by Rhoamin Knight, not to mention the love & concern the Knights have provided to cats on CC going back to the “early days” of the CC community.
