How We Met
She was the kitten of a stray I had been feeding. One morning I found her on porch with her back legs tied up in nylon twine. I got one free, ran her to the vets where they felt her leg needed amputation. They managed to save the leg but it is presently withered. I decided she was never going to go out in the outside environment again.

Hello Bella
How was your weekend? Ours was nice except for those loud thunderstorms yesterday which began at 2 a.m. and lasted until after 8 a.m. We received several inches of rain & lots of thunder, lightning and wind, thankfully no damage.
Did you know that April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month? Your first-aid kit should include phone numbers for your veterinarian, extra bottles of prescribed or packaged medicines (like eye wash), hydrogen peroxide, gauze, adhesive tape, non-stick bandages, tweezers, a small flashlight, round-tip scissors, and a topical antiseptic or antibiotic, plus clean cloths & towels.
Also, be sure to have your pawrent’s name, address & phone numbers attached to your carrier. Ever since Hurricane Katrina hit us, Mommy keeps a first aid kit & a hurricane evacuation kit ready for us, just in case. We never know when it might come in handy.
