Nicknames: Willow so Soft, Baby girl, Hunny Bunny, Angel.

Coat: short haired

Education: I can open the stereo cabnet and can mute the radio by pushing the right button. I do this when I don't like the music but when you put on Michael Jackson I come running because I like his music.

My favorite tricks and treats are: I know to sit before I get my treats and Temptations cat treats are my favorite. Also on special occassions a little tuna or salmon and the water it is packed in.

Where I hang out: I love sitting on the window sill in the kitchen, my parent's bedroom and living room. I also like to lay on the back of the couch in the living room and look out the window. I sleep on my parent's bed at night, and curl up on my very own jumbo pillow in the tv room.

My favorite grubs: dry cat food from Costco, Kirkland brand.

My pet peeves: I do not like being woken up or bothered while I'm grooming.

What I love about my owners: I grew up in a shelter most of my life and came in with my siblings. They were adopted and I was left all alone. I was then transfered to another SPCA because no one seemed to want me but then that all changed once I arrived in Vancouver.

I love my Mummy and Daddy because they rescued me from the SPCA. They brought me to my new home and gave me lots of toys to play with, so many comfy places to sleep and lots of hugs and cuddles. I love to give my Mummy and Daddy kisses and baths and rub my face on their face. Cuddling with them on the couch while watching tv or a movie is nice because they keep me warm and I feel so safe. When my Mummy and Daddy are out and they come home, I run to the door and sit because I am so happy to see them. Then Mummy gives me some pets and kisses and so does Daddy. I love my parent's because they love me so much. I am so happy in my new home and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

My cat hobbies: I love to sleep, play and cuddle. I love playing with all my toys but I have a great love of paper, cardboard and shoe laces.

How We Met

My husband and I were looking for a cat and had spent months looking at the SPCAs in our area and looking online at other shelters and visiting them as well. Then one day after spending a long day out looking I suggested we go to the SPCA near our house again, we had been a few days before and were going there regularly.

My Husband noticed a cage that had a door covered in small mesh and he looked inside and saw a beautiful grey kitty cat. The volunteer said that the cage was used for smaller animals but they were overflowing with cats and had to put her there. My husband opened the cage and put his hand inside the box she was sleeping in and all I thought to myself was "this cat is going to bite him because she may feel trapped" HOWEVER, she didn't and she came out and rubbed my husband's hand and mine and melted our hearts. we held her and she was so happy in our arms and we knew she was our kitty that moment. We both fell in love with her and filled out the paper work to adopt her. That was in Dec 2008 and she has been living in our home and making our lives so happy ever since. We love our Willow so very much and could not imagine our lives without her.

Hi Willow! Yes, I love my new family! The elder female of the house, Little, is getting used to me a little at a time, and the four upstairs will get used to me eventually. Mommy actually started leaving me out when she leaves the house so Little and I can work some things out for ourselves. Soon I'll be out all the time!
