We apologize for the c/p, but wanted to be able to touch base with as many of our friends as possible!

First of all, we hope the New Year will bring you an abundance of love, health, and catnip! We join everyone in praying for sweet little Boo Kitty #154855 in the hopes she will fully recover from her illness.

We have decided that we need more time to devote to our pages, blogging our friends, and hopefully, try to create new FAQ/Bloggers Central type of profile page. Therefore, we have resigned from the Catpaign Crew. This will also mean we are now free to do an occasional free day campaign, so if anyone has a suggestion for a free day candidate--someone who is deserving, but might not meet all the requirements for an official campaign, please feel free to suggest him or her to us!

Secondly, we are starting a new caption contest--the last one we'll be having for awhile. The photo we'd like a caption for this time is Holly's #59878 . As always, we are looking for your ideas, not your votes. The kitty whose caption is picked will receive as a prize a 2010 Petco Foundation Calendar featuring our very own Haylee as the April cover girl. Because we don't want to waste any time getting the prize awarded (the January cover is a D-0-G, so we hope to get the calendar to the winner prior to February 1st for the first kitty cover), we'll be picking the winner on January 22nd. Join the fun--we can't wait to see your ideas!

Hey Chester.
MOm likes to be around the kids more than partying. She is no fun anymore. mol She got a lot of exervise though. A lot of people were not home so she walked our little friend a a few blocks. She was very proud of herself. I am proud of her too!! Boy did she sleep last night! mol

OMG

I had a wonderful day yesterday. Mom brought home lots of yummy leftovers and I got to meet my 12 year old cousin Rascal, the Yellow Lab. My Uncle Chris had to carry him up the stairs because he was afraid of the spaces between them. I personally love the spaces!!! That is the best part of the "Big City" Mom also came home with a cute little straw squirrel to put appointment cards or pics in a wire on his head. CHECK OUT THE PICS BELOW!

I guess the whole family had a good time taking Hannah out trick or treating and giving out candy at G-ma's. I was happy in the solitude of my own bed. The complex did not unlock the doors so kids could get in, so I had a nice snooze!!!

I hope you all had a great Halloween, and got lot's of treats too. My little piece of sausage and chicken was certainly an excellent treat!! Have a great night!!! Big hugs!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I first want to wish you, all my friends, a safe and Happy Halloween with lots of treats and hopefully no tricks!!

Mom is going over G-ma's to a big party with lots of food and treats to celebrate Hannah's first Halloween. See pic below!! Mom calls her HannahBell!! She is very excited to see the whole family, and oh ya all the Italian food that has been ordered from her favorite place. I always get a little piece of chicken! A good time will be had by all. I hope the same can be said about you and your family!!! Please be safe, have fun and watch what you eat. Have your Mom look through all your treats before you eat them!!! MOL

THIS IS A SEPARATE CATPAIGN FROM THE "BLACK CAT" CATPAIGN. IT IS SPECIFICALLY FOR A CHOSEN CANDIDATE FOR SATURDAY VOTING.

Ever heard of a GOOD Vampire? Well, read on and meet one! Not only that, LESTAT 148609 is a beautiful BLACK cat, completely in charge of his realm/furrever home plus his Mom's and Dad's hearts. What better day than Halloween to vote for LESTAT!!!
We tried to write his story but kept getting ghostly visions of Lestat, meowing to us to relate it in his own words so here you are, friends - join us in the adventures that rival even his namesake from the Anne Rice stories:

"As soon as I joined my family, I set about declaring my alphaness & supremacy to the sound of my new parents adoring & appreciative awwwwwws and much to the consternation of my 2 new older sisters who, being much older, wanted nothing to do with me and my juvenile playful pursuits. One day I reached the impressive title of 6 time-outs for hassling my elder sisters and spent a lot of time taunting and attempting to lure my Mom into games of tag & hide 'n seek as she was about the only one who didn't shun me.

My biggest time-out came when I jumped and landed in a hanging plant in the kitchen just above the table where my Mom was busy on her laptop and looked up to see me looking down at her and swinging merrily. Yep, that went over like a lead-balloon as I had already gotten in trouble over jumping in it more than once.... well, it wasnt right that she was reading on that silly machine when she could be playing tag with me!!!

There came the day, a few short months after my adoption when I found my Mom in the bedroom crying because my sister Missy became very, very sick and was about to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I knew it was my job to console her so I jumped up on the bed, put a paw on her arm, meowed and kissed her over and over again to let her know that she wasn't alone. Not very long after all that sadness, the best thing ever happened: my parents drove back up to the shelter, met a little gray tabby kitten which they adopted and brought home for me!!! My little bro Bowie and I now spend our days playing and have great fun. I adore him to pieces."

I got a very cool surprise today. G-ma and Grandpa Joe send me a Halloween Tin full of toys and treats by UPS. Mom got one full of people treats. Yahoo!!!

While Mom was waiting for the kids in the building to come home from school to make sure they got home ok, I got to go to the "Big City" (the hallway). I love going there. Mom took a couple of pics. She put the pics on my page. Mom wants to take some new pics of me, but the sun and clouds are just not cooperating. Can someone please send some sun my way?

I also love the new desk! It is so much bigger and it is so much more open underneath it than the other desk, that Mom put a comfy pillow under it. It is just purrfect for me to lay on to rub on Mom's leg while she takes my dictation. tehe

We finally had a day here without rain and even saw some patches of blue. That and Mom putting flannel sheets on the bed for the first time this year were the highlights of my Sunday!

I am really excited for the neighbor to come this afternoon to put Mom's new desk together. I It is always nice to watch someone new work, and get new things to rub on. What an exciting day I have ahead of me. Well off to bed I go!

This was the first day where the sky was clear blue. Still cold and damp but the best day in about a week. More rain is in the forecast, so Mom is going to go ahead and put flannel sheets on the bed. We love our flannel sheets. They make sleeping even more cozy then blankies. Mom says we are getting too, too lazy. All we do is find more and more comfortable ways to sleep instead of more reasons to get up, oh unless it is to get some yummy treat to eat!! You are right, we do have it good! Have a great night!! Mom came home today so tired from the busiest week she said she has had in a long while. Funny. Have you met Angel Larry, #58261 ? She was the neighborhood stray. Larry, as “she” was called for many days, watched a new family working on a house in the neighborhood getting it ready to move into. This lovely kitty actually chose her new home long before the family chose her. Once she was invited in she had found her “forever” home. She repaid a box of cat food with three kittens who were originally named Prissy, Rambo and Kay. Prissy became known as Duckie, Rambo went to live with friends who wanted a kitten and fell in love with him and Kay became the “Little General!” Larry, as she was known for 19 years, Duckie and Kay stayed together and provided love for their household through good times and bad. Larry crossed Rainbow Bridge shortly before her 20th birthday in 2008, the day after her Daddy returned home from having major surgery. Angel “Larry” has spent some busy days at the Rainbow Bridge opening her home to Angel Ayashe a few short months ago and the baby kittens Angel Gabriel and Raphael recently. On Friday, October 23rd, please vote foe Angel “Larry”, or “Nana” as she is now known by her foster kittens!

Sir Leo is a great doctor, staying close to his ailing parent, either following them or leading the way when they get out of bed in the morning, taking them to the shower then carefully leading them back to bed for rest. He jumps up onto the bed, keeping them company, curling up to warm them up, all the time encouraging healing pets. When Leo was only 1, he jumped up on the counter, sticking his head though a paper grocery bag handle. Leo jumped down off the counter, head in bag, running around the house in a crazed frenzy knocking down 2 lamps, 1 vase & making a terrible clamor. He ran into the bedroom, hid under the bed, paper bag still over his head. His Mom got out of bed to investigate all the ruckus, unable to find Leo. She returned to the bedroom, and saw his kitty sis Rani looking under the bed with just her tail sticking out. His Mom checked under the bed, pulling Leo along so she could help him out of the bag. Leo was so spooked, he took off like a shot and did not come out of hiding for a day.

Leo’s family takes trips in their RV, usually wintering in Arizona, where Leo’s human sis lives with her kids. Leo always knows when they are crossing back into Washington state on the return trip, as he becomes alert, regardless of where he might be sleeping in the RV at the time, jumping onto his Mom’s lap so he can look out the window. She always says, “Yes, Leo, we’re almost home!” When Leo enters the home, he checks everything, going from room to room to back patio on a thorough patrol. When all checks out the same, Leo relaxes and takes his nap! In this respect, Sir Leo is all that one would want from their dedicate feline fur baby. Just to keep his family on their toes, Leo likes to scrunch down in the bathtub sometimes, jumping out at whoever comes into the bathroom, making a fast run for the door! Leo loves to drink water from the bathroom sink, pawing water all over the mirror! His special joy is curling up into a good shoebox where no one can see him. He loves when his Mom puts the shoebox in front of the warm fireplace in winter!

♣Kitty Hugs & Purrs For My Friend!!♣
Hello dear buddy!! How are you,my friend? I was very pleased to read a new kitty letter from you.
Oh my Gosh!! I could not believe when Momma told me that my Avatar had been published on the CC newsletter!! Woo Hoo!! I feel so honored and very happy. Mom was making a Halloween Avatar for Pucca the other day. She told to our friend Misse and she took it to her Fine Feline Gallery. There are a lot of cute Avatars there!!
It has been raining during the entire day. Mom has a pain in her shoulder and neck and the doctor said it must be from being in front of the computer for too long. She also works with the computer at the Hospital.
She has taken a pain pill and we have been giving her lots of purrtherapy. That always works. Right?
Pucca and I have been watching TV with Mommy today. She enjoys very much watching Discovery Channel. And guess what? We joined her to watch a birds programm this afternoon. It was very,very interesting!! And I even chattered to those birds. Mom said they were not coming out of the TV but I thought it was worth to try... (he,he!!)

Good Night My Furrfriend Chester!!
How are you? It was very nice to read a new kitty letter from you.
These are Simba and Pucca (the hidden kitties)blogging for you with our latest adventure from stormy Buenos Aires.
Mom and Dad went to a friends´party about one week ago and they brought home a very strange thing when they came back. Momma said it was a pink balloon. We had never heard of such a thing before and we were really curious about it!! But Mom said we couldn´t have that and put it over a high shelf in the living room. It had a thread and she tied it on the shelf.
And... Guess what,furrfriend? Today evening Pucca and I finally figured out how to get it. Of course,Momma wasn´t looking. (he,he!!) We did a huge mess and got in trouble (MOL!!). I first jumped over the shelf and then I bit the thread over and over until the balloon was free. It went down to floor and Pucca caught it.
I jumped to the floor and joined my girl. And then something horrible happened!! It exploded!! Can you believe it,my friend? We got very,very scared.(MOL!!) The balloon dissappeared and we ran to hide under our parents´ bed as soon as we could. We have been there since then. Mom told us that happens for being mischievous kitties!! (he,he!!) But she loves as so much and she can´t really be mad at us for too long. We have only left the bed for a while now to blog to our precious friends... And also to play with Mommy.

My mom had to leave CC during my catpaign for a while due to personal problems,but now we are back and I am FINALLY getting out my "Thank You's"! Happy Sunday For You My Sweet Friend!!
And also for your Mommy. Momma says she hopes she´s feeling better now. She sends her a big kiss and we,the kitties,send her also lots of purrs.
Are you about getting snow at your home? We never get snow here in Buenos Aires. Our winters are not very cold,really.
Mom did finally manage to take a couple of photos at the parrots we have in our back garden. And also a picture from our orange tree. She put them at the end of my page for all my furrfriends to see them.
There are now many more parrots making their nests. They live in two huge pines that are planted in our back garden. I love staring and chattering at them. They´re great fun.
We had a very nice weekend. We celebrated my Grandpaw´s birthday yesterday night and the house was full of people. I stayed upstairs having a nice nap. Tomorrow we´re having a national holiday in Argentina and because of that Mommy and everybody is off work. That´s sure great because Mom can help me to blog until late tonight.
The weather has been lovely although it rained last night. But today the sun was shining again and we played outside and had a sun bath.

Leo and his future meowmy locked eyes one day at a pet store and it was love at first sight! He is happily settled in his furever home where he enjoys bird watching, playing with a laser mouse, snugglebuggy time and making his momma laugh every day. Wow you got snow? we barely are getting cloudy weather, in fact it looks like it might drizzle today. yes mom's knocking on wood she does not get sick but she washes her hands like a million times a day. We want to know your mom's secret on how you don't track litter! mom's bought all these things to step on outside the litterbox and plastic but for some reason Cheese's rear end is like a magnet for the litter..MOL..Tinkerbell is better she's gets out of the litter box very carefully..Cheese just tears out the litter box so fast that he takes a cup of litter out with him! Stay warm!! hugs and purrs

Sorry to hear mom was sick and glad she's feeling better. Luckily..knock on wood our mom has not gotten sick lately. Alot of people at work have been coughing though. cross our fingers. Nothing new here just working alot and cleaning litterboxes! boy does that catlitter track everywhere in the house..for some reason Cheese tracks it more than Tinkerbell does...how I don't know! Well we are ready for a nice weekend with hopefully lots of catnaps. Take care and have a safe weekend

I am glad your Mom is feeling better! My Mom would love to be riding a horse. There are lots of horses here, but we don't have any friends that own any of them. mol It has been really rainy and my MOm is still not feeling 100% after getting that flu shot. Mostly tired. It could just be a change of seasons thing. I hope you are keeping warm in the low temps. I am sleeping under the covers with my MOm nice and cuddly!!! I gotta go! I'll meow at you later!! Hugs!

Greetings from the colorful Green (orange and red) Mountains! We know we haven’t been very active bloggers lately, but hope to make up for it in the coming months! We thank everyone who left condolences for our Mom at the loss of her sister to cancer. We kitties are all doing pretty well. Haylee had an infection a few weeks ago that the vet felt was caused by periodontal disease. But, she’s as good as new and bragging to everyone about being the April Cover Girl for the 2010 Petco Foundation Calendar. Priscilla can be found as the May 24th Cover Girl in the 2010 Cat-A-Day Calendar. We’re very proud of both our girls!

We know there has been great sadness among our friends on CC recently when Angel #40145 from the Maine Gang, Girlie #8577 from the Sunclowder, Ziggy #67045, and 4 of 7 kittens born to Evita, Thomas’ foster sister (see Foster Kitty Page #155579 to see photos of the surviving siblings) all made their journey across the Rainbow Bridge--our deepest sympathy to their families.

We are happy to announce that we are having another Caption Contest. Hope you can stop by Holly’s Page #59878 sometime in the next couple of weeks and give us your ideas for a caption for the new photo of Holly and her great love, Wally. As in previous contests, the Irish Clan have generously offered a custom made photo frame to the kitty chosen as the winner. Feel free to submit up to three ideas per family!

♥Happy Thursday For You Dear Chester!!
Hello my furrfriend!! How are you doing? It´s very nice to meet you. Mom and I are always pleased to make new friends. You have a very nice profile photo!! Momma says you look like me!!
We´re sorry because we could not write back to you sooner than this;but we have been having some problems with the Internet here at home over the last couple of days.It seems to be working fine again now.
My Dad took my Mommy and Grandma to the Lujan Open Zoo last Saturday and they spent the entire day there. Mom cooked some empanadas and they had a picnic. Momma told me the hay a really lovely time there!! She could not be happier!!
She was able to meet the 1 month baby lions and she holded one of them in her arms. Mom said the little lion was so adorable and that he purred a lot. She could have been petting him forever and ever. My parents were also able to meet two baby bears,three 7 months old lions,three baby tigers and lots of baby bunnies,just to mention a few. Momma took lots of photos. She has put a photo of her holding a baby lion at the end of Lola´s page. You can go and take a look at it if you want!!
The Lujan Open Zoo is placed here in Buenos Aires;one hour far from where we live. It´s a very special place because people can interact with all the animals there.
What have been you doing,my friend?
It has been nice and sunny over here and we have been playing in our back garden. The Lady Parrots are now making their nests and the orange tree is all in bloom. Lots of cute birds are coming to it. Mom loves the smell of its white flowers. She doesn´t let us catch birds but we still have fun staring and chatting at them!!

Pretty picture! We have been off cc for almost a week and catching up on blogs. Well Cheese has recovered from the vet visit but has to go back for his leukemia shot in a couple months. Cheese and mom took a nap and Cheese nipped mom's arm to wake her up for dinner! It didn't hurt but Cheese has a way of getting what he wants that's for sure. That's handy mom can just order the vaccine and give it to Chester, we would do that too if mom was not such a scaredy cat herself...mom does not do good with needles! Well the week is coming to an end and we can't wait till friday...mom's job has been super duper busy lately. It cooled down for a couple days now it's back to being warm again..strange weather here. Well we hope you have a good weekend if we don't blog with you before then! take care..hugs and purrs

The rescue group originally thought Buster feral until they had him neutered and discovered he was just the friendliest fellow in recovery! His adopted family was not planning on adding another kitty to their 2 cat home but Buster won them over with his pleading meows and sweet catitude. Buster absolutely loves to be around people, especially those who pet him! Happy Fall!!!

Between Mom fighting off her cold and a slow computer, or CC, I really haven't been on CC lately as much as I would have liked. After many napless days, they have finally finished repairing the section of road closest to my apartment. I can't say that I am sorry.

Last night Mom and I started to do some Fall cleaning with Mom. I was rewarded with a little taste of my favorite creamed corn. Then Mom and I settled into bed with some beautiful sleeping weather. We snuggled under the blankets together. I am more then sure it is the first of many nights to come!! Mom was not happy when at 6am I woke her up for some treats. She is waiting for a package and was afraid if she went back to sleep she would miss the Fed Ex man so now she is up for the day and very tired. Me? I am getting ready for a nap! tehe
